He removed 40 year old wallpaper that I tried to do on my own for 15+ hours with little success. He then painted my kitchen to perfection. After that job, I called him to do major sheetrock repair and painting on short notice. He finished the job in one afternoon even though it was a 2-3 day job (I needed it done immediately as the house was going on the market the next morning). Once again, the job was done perfectly. You could not see where the sheetrock was repaired and the paint job was perfect. All of the above at very reasonable prices. Miquel deserves a 10+ rating. At first he was not able to do anything rite away, but after I explained him my client will not go to sleep untill the ceiling was closed, because they had a rodent problem in the attic, he quickly went to get the sheetrock and at least close it for the meantime which was very helpfull. He was also a true proffessianal to the homeowner and myself. Will defenitly recommend and will be using again for anything else we need done.

Painting ETC. on the other was much more focused on making sure that all the walls were prepped before they actually put the paint on. I hired Dave to run a simple tube cleanly to my drain downspout. He explicitly said he would do a…read moreproper job, but what I got was the opposite. He didn't bother to grade the tubing so water could actually flow, hacked a jagged hole into my drain and damaged it, then left like the job was done. When I pointed out that the tube was literally pointing upward--and asked if he understood how gravity works--he doubled down and insisted that all I asked was for him to stick the tube in the hole he drilled. On top of the sloppy, lazy work, Dave couldn't even provide a clear date or time for when he'd arrive. Totally disorganized, unreliable, and careless. If you want shoddy, garbage work that you'll have to fix yourself afterwards, hire him. Otherwise, stay far away.

I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.
