The ads look nothing like reality. The cabins are way smaller than other KOA deluxe cabins. There is no linens. There are no soap dispensers like other KOAs. There is no internet. The cable is spotty. The staff said they know all this. The porches on the "deluxe cabins" are so small you can barely stand on it! Our site overlaps with an RV site. 611. Can't wait to see what happens if one shows up! It's only saving grace is that it's clean. Apparently false advertising is the Naples ME motto. For what we paid I could've gotten a hotel and everything they advertise. Stay far away.

General Manager herself followed me around and my car around multiple times during my half day stay here. BEYOND CREEPY to see 3 golf carts watching you and pointing at you as you attempt to enter your cabin at night as a solo traveler. Had to sit in my car for 20 minutes with my dogs before the people stopped directly watching me and I felt safe enough to get out of my locked car. Only to see that several golf carts were periodically circling my cabin while all of them refuse to even greet you, just staring while they drove by. Front desk girl is nice as can be but her boss is crazy. Go to any one of the identically priced campsites in the area and save yourself the hassle. If you are a solo traveler avoid this place like the plague, a few extra dollars is worth your safety!!!

Very convoluted to figure out the who done it. The food was better than expected. The huge issue was the staff telling us they would have activities around murder mystery. There was one escape room and there was no room for us to play. It made for a boring weekend. The place we stayed was ok and didn't have very many amenities, the heat in the living room wasn't working...made for a chilly weekend. The staff needs to prepare the guests for a weekend expectation. We didn't need a golf cart but no one mentioned that when we booked the trip. We wasted over $1K for this weekend. I would say, keep your money and don't visit this resort.

We used to come here all the time before it was bought out. Definitely changed for the worst. Didn't have pieces to activities where you won prizes. No internet at cabins to check activities throughout the day. Prices to go there and for items such as food and souvenirs. $42 for a small shirt. Only good part is the production crew. 10/10 stars to them. They host every show there and are amazing at it. Also, they are amazing singers and dancers. Most staff are nice. Totally recommend the production shows if you end up at this horrible, outrageous place.

Camp Arcadia, an all-girls overnight camp, is truly a wonderful place. I had the privilege of…read moreattending as both a camper in the 1990s (3 years) and a counselor in the 2000s (3 years). The people I met over those 6 summers continue to be some of my closest friends and confidants. The directors take a genuine interest in campers, their parents, and the staff members. From a camper perspective: camp is incredible: you meet campers and counselors who come from around the world (literally, one of my closest camp friends grew up and lives in Spain). You spend your days swimming on the lake, singing songs, playing tennis, and learning how to live in the woods. Nighttime activities include everything from camp-wide Harry Potter-themed Olympics to shaving parties (for the teenage girls) to simply hanging out with your (super cool) counselors. You can hike Mount Washington and canoe up and down the many lakes of Maine and New Hampshire. From a counselor perspective: I was admittedly exhausted for most of the time, but it was incredibly fun and shaped my life in ways I didn't realize at the time. I now work in Corporate America, but the experiences I gained--building rapport with campers of varying ages, supervising staff, learning how to manage my time, and remembering to take time to rest--have helped me quite a bit in my "adult" life. Now in its 100th summer, Camp Arcadia is the place to be!

This camp overworks the young counselors and pays horribly for the amount of work and…read moreresponsibility they place on their shoulders. The parents are paying so much money and they exploit their counselors and pay them next to nothing and do....what with the rest? There was a Typhoid exposure with a kitchen worker this year and they covered it up and didn't tell the parents or anyone at camp about it until the CDC was alerted to this exposure (most likely from wherever he sought medical care) and came to inspect the camp - which the camp failed on almost all areas. They were given a certain amount of time to get it together and make the camp safe before they were going to take action and shut it down. One of the young counselors (17 years old) had an allergic reaction and their supervisor tried to make them still work instead of resting and recuperating from said allergic reaction. The administration would work the counselors like they weren't even humans. Overall, the camp's conduct and the way they treat the counselors is totally unsafe - which is also unsafe for the campers. It sounds like it used to be a nice camp, but not under the current administration.
