I lost my sim card so I went to my phone carrier TMobile and they put one in the new phone. I asked for instructions on getting it ready to go, but could start it when I got home. Instead, he told me it would be easier to load from my husbands phone and said he NEEDED HIS APPLE ID. It didn't make sense but I trusted him. He started my new phone up so it could be usable. However, I couldn't figure out how to restore the backup. I went back to the store and He said he assumed I had my old phone, even though I told him it was my husbands. Why did he ask for my HUSBAND's ID? makes NO HONEST SENSE. This made it impossible to retrieve my data So in trying to find a way to get my data back, I called my sister. Within 20 minutes, she told me to reset to factory settings. The backups that 'disappeared' as we were trying to get it fixed at the store, came back. Instead of treating me like I was lying about having backups, they should have found a solution since THEY CAUSED THE PROBLEM in the first place. I was furious at their lack of taking responsibility, lack of knowledge on how to get backups back after the gentlemen's ASSUMPTION put ME in a position of trying to fix their mess. They are incompetent and instead of fixing my problem, selling me an apple watch seemed to be what he was focused on. Did I get upset? Yes, I did, you caused the problem and acted like this was my fault. It was YOUR incompetence and he should have honored MY REQUEST to find out how to do the download without another phone in the first place. What a failure in customer service. What a failure of competence. What a failure in understanding your employees aren't as smart as they think there are.
