His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

They will go out and do rabbit rescues, they care for a huge volume of rabbits that they spay or neuter and microchip for adoption, and are an exceptional source of education. Adopting a rabbit here is $50 which is truly an incredible value. To adopt a rabbit, they will ask you to go through an orientation/education session with Joy who is the manager there. Honestly, even if you don't end adopting here and find your rabbit elsewhere I would very highly recommend going through the training because it was truly invaluable. Other services here include boarding and a small store where the prices are generally cheaper than at a pet store. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is because it would be so very helpful to have someone actually answer the phone when you call. They have a phone tree where you leave a message at various extensions for various needs but there is a volunteer at the front desk at all times when they are open and sometimes I just want to check if they are going to be open near a holiday or if they have the item I want at the store in stock before I drive a half hour to get there. Would really appreciate if they could transition to having staff answer phone calls during business hours.

The intake story was also false and when confronted they deleted every post from here and TikTok. Now they're crying victim because they got caught and won't make it right so everyone who knows this horse, the breeder and everyone involved have started speaking up for this horse. Letting the breeder & veterinarian take him would free up room for more rescues and save money on feed and medicine. Yet they refuse and fight back. So what's the motive here? It's definitely not the best interest of the horse. This makes me now question what motives are behind the other animals in their care. The paddocks are nothing but mud. No proper shelter. They share videos of the animals standing in water and mud, covered in mud. This is not a proper facility to house so many animals. This is not a reputable rescue. When questioned they deleted posts and comments then banned those questioning. What are they hiding behind the sob stories that were proven false? This is not ok.
