Just fine! Nothing incredible but it did the trick just fine for fuel on a Friday morning. The peppermint mocha I had was quite nice, not overly sweet or peppermint-y, and the espresso was nice and smooth. I also got a white chocolate, berry scone and it was pretty dry. I don't know if it was just a little old (although it was a morning soooo....) or if that's just the way they are but either way it wasn't my favorite. I'd skip those next time for sure. The schwag, packaging, cup designs, etc, were actually pretty adorable. I considered buying a travel mug because they were so cute and Christmasy, but I have more than enough already at home so I skipped it. The baristas here were really friendly and efficient. I was in a bit of a hurry and they got my drink and sent me on my way cheerfully and quickly. I wasn't in a hurry to get back here and found better coffee in Banff, but if this was the only option in my area I wouldn't have a problem heading back here at all.

Second Cup was advertising for a free tea or coffee with a purchase of one of their cake slices. It felt a little overpriced considering the cake is $6, but when you factor in the fact that it comes with a drink, $6 for both is not bad. I got a slice of the carrot cake upon the cashier's suggestion... and it was phenomenal. I thought it was truly worth the $6. It was super moist, the frosting was thick but still creamy, and the cake was divided in half by more frosting. The hot water was WAY too hot to not have a sleeve, so I asked for a second cup.

Fresh and delicious Raspberry and Dark Chocolate Muffin and light Orange Cranberry Loaf hit the spot. The Vanilla Bean Latte was too sweet so next time I will ask for 1/2 Vanilla. The locale is off the mall And not too inviting so it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Caramel drink (beautiful), zucchini choco cup muffin (delicious). $7.25 total

Awesome staff. I asked for a change in the order and we're happy about making the change for me. Chelsea and Ruth were extremely helpful.

The Banff location tries to get out of chain-wide promotions, which isn't cool. Overall, I still enjoy Second Cup.

This was the perfect place for me to stop before I began my stroll around Downtown Banff. Little Wild Coffee & Gelato's menu features fresh pastries, sandwiches and salad bowls in addition to coffee drinks and pastries. I got me an Iced Latte and a Salted Caramel Gelato to walk around town with. The food is prepared daily at their sister establishment, Wild Flour Bakery. The coffee beans are sourced from South America and the gelato comes from Vancouver. It is a nice shop that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Little Wild Coffee & Gelato was a great first stop during my first visit to the Town of Banff.

I love their fig cookies. They are always fresh and delicious. The menu is on a higher price end now, but quality is still good to try sometimes. However service is not good at this location. Girls were rude and not willing to help in friendly manner. Plus our cappuccino was almost cold. The cost is already higher end and if you don't tip 20% or more the girls make faces and don't even respond after that. Not many seats to sit so it's a take away mostly so 20% and above tip doesn't justify specially with that kind of bad service. Will I be there again? Yes just for the fig cookies. Will get coffee somewhere else.

It is located in the Town of Banff inside of a building that houses some touring agencies. Tim Hortons is Canada's biggest coffeehouse chain. They serve coffee drinks, donuts, sandwiches, breakfast items and other fast-food items. Today there are Tim Horton locations all over the world. They are known for their Timbits donut holes. Even though this Tim Horton's location is spacious, it had a line out the door. Summer time is peak season for tourism in Banff and of course everyone wants their coffee drink. After being out in the sun all day, I just wanted something cold and got me a Cold Brew coffee. Tim Hortons offers many of your basic espresso drinks that you would find on any coffee house menu. The Original Blend Double Double and Iced Capp are their popular sellers.

During my last trip to Banff, Canada I decided to stop by a Tim Hortons and give it a try and order the iced brown sugar oat milk coffee. This was a decent coffee but definitely did not taste the brown sugar just a hint of sweetness and the coffee was quite watered down which was a let down. Maybe it was the drink I ordered or the location but sadly the coffee was subpar.

The cafe in the main building seemed to have the machine cocoa and I was looking for the good stuff. The real stuff. Milk and bittersweet chocolate warmed together to create an elixer fit for the gods. SO--I made my way over to the Java Lift to investigate their options and was treated to the most lovely hot cocoa, complete with marshmallows and whipped cream, that my little heart could desire. It was delightful. Everything I wanted and more! I was also a little peckish and the crepes they also offered sounded perfect so I went with the black forest ham and gruyere crepe. A little salty to compliment my sweet cocoa. It was served up in a jiffy and the cheese was perfectly melty, the ham was nice and salty, and the crepe shell was prepared perfectly. Nice and thin and holding the whole thing deliciously together. I actually was so jazzed about it I forgot to take a picture, but it was good! They also have a few sweet crepe options and a couple other savory choices as well. If it's coffee you want, they also have that here (hence the "java" part of its name). It's pretty much a Starbucks counter, without the Starbucks name, but they have all the seasonal drinks they offer in Starbucks stores and they use their beans as well. Service is pleasant as pleasant can be. I chatted with the barista for a while and she was just so friendly. It's a little on the small side, seating wise, although there seems to be a decent turnover and I had no trouble getting a window seat to enjoy the incredible views outside. Would definitely while away some time here in the future should I return.

Even on a Saturday you can find a seat either in the cafe or the hotel lobby. They serve Starbucks "We proudly brew" and a somewhat inflated price. There are a range of pastries and sandwiches available. WE had muffins and they were tasty and fresh. They also have a crepe menu and we noticed many patrons treating themselves to one of those. They looked fantastic and seemed quite popular. Once I saw the crepes, I do admit I had a bit of crepe envy. The line up area has a bad flow but people don't seem to get too competitive which is good. In the main lodge I think a similar line flow would lead to coffee shop brawls. Service is also friendly. Ski Patrol seemed to like to come here on breaks so that says something too. This place probably wouldnt do as well in the real world but when you are stuck on a mountain with throngs of other skiers, it is a bit of a gem.
