Employees were nice. There was a bit of a wait when we got here. I got the Peppermint Mocha Latte. Coffee taste is strong. The peppermint wasn't enjoyable for me. Not enough sweetness to counteract the bitterness. I would not get this drink again. The latte art is pretty. There's a lot of merch to peruse if you're interested.

Croissant was amazingly buttery and the sourdough loafs were so fragrant and tasty. I bought one unsliced loaf to take home to the states as a souvenir of sorts but it was so tasty my friends and I tore at it and ate half of it in merely one car ride to Lake Louise. I went back in the afternoon to get a replacement loafs but all the unsliced loafs were already sold it! Lesson learned ~ but I bought a sliced on to take back and it was still tasty. Lines are long but move fast. It's a bit hectic inside during rush hour since space can be cramped but the outdoor seating is good too if you don't mind the magpies stealing your drinks.

The line here is long, but it moves at a decent pace. Their items are extensive and kind of pricey, but they do seem very high quality. I tried their banana croissant which looked like a pain suisse. It had fresh banana slices and cream inside, within a nice buttery pastry. It was quite good!

Good service and great lattes. Got the breakfast sandwich and the bread was so perfectly toasted. Paired perfectly with the softer egg plus the white mocha latte I got. It was a perfect little breakfast for me before I head over to lake louise.

Service: sweet, authentic, sincere Ambiance: casual and caring Food: ahhhh so gooooood 1) Chai latte: served in a huge orange cup and saucer. Amazing with a cinnamon-hint 2) Breakfast Sandwich: extremely filling, generous portion of egg, bread was fresh and delightful, with a tomato chutney that wasn't perfect not too sour or sugary. 3) Yogurt, Granola & Berry Compote: Refreshing and light, compote was tart, sweet and fresh tasting, granola crunch was awesome! 4) Cold Pressed Juice: Apple Rhubarb, Lemon, Ginger one: I loveeeeeeee this! We'll be in Banff for a few more days and I'm coming here without family so I can peacefully enjoy everything once again.

Came here for a coffee and breakfast to start off our day in Banff. The pastries here are really amazing! We had a few different varieties, I liked everything from their muffins to their scones. They have a great variety of options and their bread is second to none. The coffee on the other hand was just okay. We got a cappuccino and while it was decent it definitely could have been made a bit better. Still recommend this place. It's a cool cafe with seating inside and outdoors and a good option for breakfast in Banff. Service was good but did forget one of our pastries ln the second visit.

The white chocolate mocha was not sweet but not too bitter either. I love the latte art. We asked them what their most popular drink was and they said the caramel latte. There's a lot of tables indoors. The staff was very friendly.

In Banff for a couple of days. Took some time to stroll through the mainstreet area of town. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. The place was busy, and very hot. I mean super, uncomfortable HOT. My spouse had to wait outside before they over heated. Lots of yummy looking bakery items. They also were selling some packaged chocolate bars, which looked interesting, so I got a couple of those. Looking for an unsweetened ice tea, and all they had was made up sweet teas. The suggestion was to get a tea, steep it, and pour it over ice. That was okay, but not as good (or cold) as what might have been cold steeped in a large container. Not sure if this is a place that I would return to.

Food - I liked the coffee and pastries I had in Wild Flour. It may have been the first time I had coffee with maple syrup. I tried it and I like it. I'm going to make it a thing when available. They also had a good selection of sandwiches, breads, and pastries. I got to try their nanaimo bars. Nanaimo bars are 3 layer bars made of buttercream type frosting sandwiched between chocolate (top) and graham crackers (bottom). It was good. My wife had the matcha latte. She knows her matcha, and she liked what Wild Flour had. My wife and daughter kept coming back for their croissants. I didn't get to try it, but they said it was good. They both know their croissants, so I believe them. Service/Staff - Wild Flour had good service. They got our orders right and it came out on time. The staff were friendly. Ambience/Vibe - Vibe was what I would expect from a coffee shop. There were people who just came by to grab their drinks and go on their way. There were customers sitting down, chitchatting or on their laptops/mobile devices. They had lots of tables for customers. The interior was nice. Their breads and pastries were displayed nicely, with clear names and prices. The menu up on the wall was clear and easy to see. Would I go back? I went back once or twice during our stay in Banff. And yes, I would go back and recommend it. I really enjoyed WIld Flour.

Fast service. Rotating menu. Lots of variety. Not everything you see in cabinet photos may be available. There's indoor seating available but we could not skip out on the outdoor patio. I was satisfied with my matcha latte with oat milk and turkey sandwich with cranberry. My husband got the chai latte with grilled cheese. We did not get to try the pastries. Maybe next time!

They mixed up our order twice and then refused to give us a take out box when we decided to just take it back to our hotel since it took so long to remake it a second time. It was odd. The food itself was really good but the service was kind of rude. I understand mistakes happen but mixing our order up twice and then telling us we can't get a box is pushing my empathy. It was pretty crowded and noisy - a lively spot. You can sit outside if you have a dog with you like we did.

Excellent pastries and bread!! I ordered the blueberry muffin, banana bread and took home a sourdough loaf. The banana bread was to die for.

The plate featured two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, sourdough toast with blackberry jam, crispy potatoes, and the best bacon I've ever tasted. The fruit bowl was just as fresh and vibrant, with oranges, Granny Smith apples, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all outstanding; an ideal way to start the day in the mountains.

They even took the time to get me gluten-free bread to eat with the beat hummus since I couldn't eat whatever bread that is served with it For me, it's important that since they already have gluten-free products that they could just substitute it that way so I could enjoy my meal and not get sick I found them to be exceptionally accommodating for me Everything was delicious I like the fire pit outside good place to wait for your table to open I like that they take your cell phone number and you can walk around and they'll text you when your table is ready so this way you don't feel like you're wasting any time My nephew got the duck that was delicious my sister got the steak sirloin. It was also delicious and had little tiny mini salt crystals on it which gave it a lot of flavor. My only slight disappointment was the choice of background music. It had too much of a 12345678 up beat to it. When they play music with this kind of a tempo, you can definitely see all of the waiters and waitresses walking to the beat of the music, but I think it also rushes people in eating and digestion. It makes people hurry up because you could literally see people chewing to the beat of the music I don't even know if the Restaurant realizes the psychology behind the choice of music But overall, I enjoyed everything I came there to eat and everything tasted good for me. I just would've had a different choice to music preference

We then shared a Waldorf salad, which was refreshing and nice. Then we both selected red wine varietals grown in Canada. I had a Cabernet/Merlot blend which was super great. Would've never guessed it was from Canada. Next, My wife enjoyed a Pinot Noir that was light and complimented our entrée perfectly. Our entrée was the fillet and prawns served over a garlic mashed potato. This is an absolutely extraordinary dish. We shared it and it was just enough for two people. It is a full meal for one person. The filet temperature preparation was perfect. The prawns were extraordinary, and the garlic mashed potato made you curl your toes! Then we closed the evening with the melted chocolate soufflé, which was divine. Here's the one thing that they missed and to me it's an important miss. They use an automated system for taking reservations. And it kept asking for my name to which I said "Chris" and the automated system kept asking me what's your name!? So it asked hey fourth time and in my frustration I got playful and I said "Big Daddy." And it happily received my name and took my reservation. And then asked if there was any special occasion and I said yes my wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. I get that it may not seem normal to say "Big Daddy party for two". So I'll kind of let that pass because neither front door or upstairs Host was willing to ask. But what I don't like that was missed was our anniversary wasn't acknowledged. I was a server for years, and every host gave the server some type of chit or note to let them know if there is a special occasion. We specifically selected a higher end restaurant for anniversary. So somewhere in there, even if you weren't brave enough to say "Big Daddy for two." Someone still should've checked if you were celebrating any special occasion to which we were. Our anniversary. Our server was fabulous. She was super kind helpful and shared about her experience being in Banff. She made us feel great. My overall experience, the Mapleleaf is a great restaurant. But I'm scoring you an A- because you missed our anniversary. and that's why we chose you. So if you're going to use AI, you can't miss special occasions. Chris & Trisha from Long Beach, CA
