Me and my wife went to secret tattoo art studio to meet with Yi who my wife has gone to a few times to get a tattoo that was very meaningful and for us. Yi did some great work for my wife so I went in to give it a shot. First off the shop is awesome, the layout is very open and each station was clean. Yi has a great set up and was amazing with her process in prepping us to get our tattoo. I also appreciated how picky Yi was and offering her opinion on size and placement. I'm also someone who is very picky about tattoo line work and Yi is fantastic, her lines are clear and and deep enough and on top of the she gets the minor details to help push the artwork. I have already sent her some reference for my next tattoo because now I'm craving more tattoos read more

My siblings and I wanted to get sibling tattoos done after Christmas and searched around Yelp. We sent a message and shortly after we received a response. We were told they had closed the shop early but were willing to open up for us. We decided to go and they were amazing!! They were so welcoming and friendly. We love that they were able to accommodate all three of us on such a short notice. In addition to their spectacular customer service, they are so skilled! They were able to draft up the design quickly and got started with ease. We had Bennett work on all three of us and he was great! We were specially looking for fine lines and he delivered exactly what we wanted. We loved his work and how amazing the shop owner (I think she was the owner. Or manager? She was the one who responded to our message so quickly) that my sister and I went back for a second tattoo and brought a friend with us for her to get tats done too. An idea sparked in my head in the am to get my wedding date tattooed on me and by the afternoon Logan made it happen! He Was very responsive on yelp and once i came into the shop, he was so accommodating. I changed a couple of things right in the shop until it was perfect. He very quickly made my sketch and was done with my tattoo in 20 minutes! It came out exactly how i wanted! Nikita was amazing! Just left the shop with the most perfect tattoo for my son. This was my fifth tattoo, but it has been a decade since my last one lol. WOW have things changed since back then! The shop was insanely clean - they shrink wrap the bed, table, etc. before each person. No weird smells and cute aesthetic. It felt welcoming vs. the scary vibe more traditional tattoo shops give off lol. I showed Nikita a pic of my son's first heartbeat on my phone. She drew it perfectly and showed me several options for the heartbeat (shading, lines, or blacked out). We got the font just perfect. I'm obsessed! Every time I look down at it, I get emotional. I spontaneously scheduled a walk-in the day of as I had a good feeling about this spot so I booked a few tattoos with artist: Tian. Tian really took her time on each of my tattoos and was also very patient with me. She did very well and I'm so happy with the results. Overall, the staff was very patient, kind and professional. I had an absolutely incredible first tattoo experience with Nikita here. She took her time to make sure it was perfect and was super receptive and understanding of what I wanted. I'm going to be honest I'm even happier with the piece than I thought I'd be. The flash was wonderful, the stencil perfect, her final work exceeded the high expectations I already had from the quality of her portfolio. If I end up wanting more I am absolutely coming here again. While their location is being renovated, they are currently in Alhambra, and the shop they are using is lovely and comfortable, open and inviting. It was a great place to spend the day. read more

Logan is an absolute master of his craft. With steady hands, an eye for detail, and a brain touched by God himself, Logan turns the canvas of your skin into a masterpiece and all it'll cost you is patience. Not only is he an artist, but a savior, a messiah. On a late November evening, Logan quickly responded to my inquiry for a piece. After a brief consultation where I showed him what I was looking for, he looked me in the eye and said "I'm not a copy artist, I design everything myself." I knew I was in the right place after that. With some discussion, I left to give him time to design what I wanted but not before getting a different piece that night (I was determined to walk out with ink and Logan had my back, quickly designing something beautiful...my secret tattoo). Once he finished designing my initial, larger piece, he reached out and birthed perfection on my arm over 3 breezy sessions. It was an almost religious experience, I had to grab some business cards and spread the gospel of Logan. Make sure to call because they changed location temporarily until they get their new spot. It's in the process but BIG BIG shoutout to Logan! I went in and he asked me what I wanted to get done and I already had a picture of it. Set up an appointment for two days later and got it done. Unbelievably disappointed. I had appreciated that logan made me feel comfortable enough to start this back piece despite the language barrier. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me very let down. He worked extremely slowly, took frequent long breaks, and the communication throughout was poor. Parts of the tattoo outline have already faded, there are parts not even shaded, the backpiece is noticeably uneven on my back, and I felt like there was a lack of care in both the process and follow-up. Unfortunately, I wasn't too pleased about my experience here. My artist was Logan. I was asked what I wanted and I showed multiple examples on the simple line work I wanted on my fingers. I was also open to suggestion but Logan said he "didn't know." Anyway, we came up with something for each finger.. He mentioned that he was going to free hand it which I was ok with. The moment I saw his hand shaking is when i should have stopped him, but the kind person that I am gave him the benefit of the doubt. We reviewed his pen work and overall it was fine. Finished my pinky, ring finger within minutes.. When he got to my middle finger that's when I knew he wasn't confident about what he was doing. He even looked up at me and said, " this finger is more difficult " even stopped working on it to move on to the next fingers and returned back to middle finger. When I finally got a glimpse of it, I was shocked. His own pen work was straighter (which you could still see when he was done) He said it was the muscles in my finger that was causing it to go crooked (I have sausage fingers, what muscle?!) The MC looked wonky and that was stenciled on, not free hand. I was trying to be understanding but asked him to fix it. All he did was go over the line which frustrated me even more. I kept my cool, paid him 130$ plus 20$ for tip and walked out so unhappy. I found his work on Instagram and couldn't believe this what the same person that did my hand. He had some tattoos that had straight line work and that made me even more irritable. I was so bothered by it, I went to another artist within 30 minutes to fix it. That artist made me feel like Logan purposely made it crooked... "How do you mess up on Dots" Second photo attached is the outcome. For what it's worth, I think he did great. Unfortunately, it was another 150$ to fix it. Hands aren't the easiest to tattoo, and I get it. The 130$ that Logan charged was a fair price but not for the outcome.... Lesson learned. read more

His style is very interesting, the shading is always soft and beautiful and he puts a lot of emphasis on different and varying line weights in order to make beautiful, clean linework that flows with every piece he does. He definitely has his own distinct art style. Every piece you request from Jimmy is a unique, custom depiction of what you want in his very own style. He takes lots of time to create and draw up something original for every one of his clients, and I love how he always puts his own artistic twist to your ideas. The piece I got from him was an Alolan Ninetales from Pokemon with red kitsune markings and a chrysanthemum flower. I was blown away by the design. It was very different from what I envisioned but not at all in a bad way at all. If anything I think what he came up was actually cooler, better and more unique than what I expected (and I already expected a lot seeing his work before since he is so good at what he does!) The piece took 2 sessions. Jimmy really takes his time to make the details of the piece look nice. Both times I flew from NorCal to SoCal and it was well worth it. He is also very light-handed so it was not very painful at all (only towards the end, since I'm not good at dealing with long sessions but that's a me-thing). I was so scared to get them done again because they hurt so much the first time and the color wasn't what I asked for. Lina was super nice and listened to all my worries. She reassured me the pain was going to be minimal and the color of my lips won't heal more purple. I asked for a soft natural pink/mauve similar to the middle of my lips. The tattoo process was a lot faster than I expected and she was right I barely felt anything since she numbed me. When she finished I was shocked on how pretty it was I wanted to tear up. The bottom picture is 2 months healed with only lip balm applied!! The color stayed, my lips are neutralized and my color is exactly what I asked for! I don't normally wear lip stick only lip balm and I get compliments all the time! Finally an artist I can trust. Thank you so much!

I wanted the design to be smaller, there was something wrong with the printer that day and the shop assistant had trouble making the stencil smaller. After a couple of tries Jess starts roid raging and slams the clipboard on the counter (I kid you not) and said something like whatever man I'll hook you up, meaning he's willing to tattoo it bigger for me even though I didn't want it that size. Wow, geez thank you your majesty Jess Yen, I am so blessed to get something I didn't want after watching you act out violently. Years later I decided to try again, this time with his apprentice Lucy. I had a phone consultation with her and she agreed to do my tattoo saying that her wait time is 2-3 years. I agreed and paid her a deposit. It's been more than 10 years now and I have not heard from her or gotten my deposit back. When I reached out to her, she tried to gaslight me saying that I missed my appointment. I was never informed of an appointment. First the owner display questionable emotional stability over something a little as resizing the stencil and then his apprentice scams me for a few hundred dollars. Yeah, this place gets negative stars if I could.

The one thing I loved the most about this experience was that at no point was Jesus pushy or rushed. Instead, he patiently walked me through the sketches and threw out some incredible ideas. Ultimately, we agreed on the piece, and six hours later, I am one happy customer. We still have another six hours in our next session, but I already love the piece. This guy is truly gifted! One of the most humble guys I have met, he is all about the business and providing proper customer service. My piece is not even finished, and I already booked another appointment for my next piece. I normally do not write reviews much, but I wanted to share my positive experience for someone who might have had a similar experience to mine. It took the artist awhile to get everything set up because she had been tattooing the other staff member. The tattoo itself is nice. The lines are good and the work is healing nicely. Where things are lacking is definitely in customer service and interaction. There was a language barrier for sure, which made it difficult. The person who did my tattoo hardly spoke English, so another person at the shop had to translate for me. I don't think I would necessarily come in to this shop again. It just wasn't very welcoming and although the work is nice, it's just not the vibe for me.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were.
