Chontel is amazing and so incredibly helpful. You can follow her and ask her questions about aftercare. Make sure to get your piercings downsized if they recommend it! It's $10 for the post and $5 for the piercing disc. Whenever Chontel isn't there, Lara is there, and she is also just as amazing and insightful as Chontel! Usually, the piercers are there from opening time until 8 pm, but you can always ask or text them to see if they are in for that day!

I was really nervous after having a horrible first time septum piercing where the piercer pierced my septum crooked, hit the cartilage and then blamed my nose shape. I've wanted a cartilage for quite some time so I decided to get a second opinion and I'm really glad I did. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and re-assuring. He took a look and told me I could probably get one but he would verify once he was able to check my nose. He was able to immediately determine the septum spot was higher up. The pain was extremely minimal. I really appreciated that Bruce walked me through every step of the process. I'll definitely be back.

I will first say that my tattoo came out very well despite the poor customer service and rudeness I…read morefaced. These guys know what they're doing, but the bedside manner needs a revamp. When looking into the tattoo I was considering getting I asked the artist for a price estimate. He gave me an incredibly vague answer and left me uneasy to ask further. As though I was bothering him. I then picked a tattoo option from one of their designs and he printed stencils. He proceeds to tell me because I "didn't ask about the price for this one" it will be $150 instead of $200. So keep that in mind if you brave this place. I then went to stand on a box for my tattoo to be stenciled and was rudely corrected on my posture. It wasn't "can you please put your hands to the side" it was pure annoyance that I wasn't perfectly positioned with minimal instruction. The tattoo is on my ankle and when I went to put my foot up on the table while wearing my shoe I was no joke SCREAMED AT. I asked previously about my shoe and thought the answer was it was ok, especially since the table was wrapped for sanitary purposes. Once I set up at the table he began to tattoo me. I was scolded for moving (I understand the frustration) but it was involuntary. Mind you as an ankle tattoo this one was going to be painful and I was aware. The other artist working even defended me because it wasn't intentional. I was repeatedly told I would "fuck up your tattoo" and "it's hard to make straight lines when you move." Like no shit, but also there was no communication on how long, what he was doing, etc. so I was just doing my best. I repeatedly I apologized and was deep breathing and doing everything in my power to stay still and make it easy. I swear he just wanted to torture me. It was almost pathetic. Anyways, all this to say the tattoo came out great but the experience was horrendous. Really upsetting and think this place could do a lot better if they were kinder to their customers. It's the first Mother's Day without her mom and with SAWOOLI and other staff at Studio City Tattoo help we were able to help make a sad day slightly better. My partner and I came in to return a jewelry piece he surprised me with as a gift. I didn't even open the clear jewelry case since I immediately knew this septum ring was too large for me to wear. We clearly told the lady behind the register that we were there to exchange or return the piece. She tells us to wait for the piercer since others were waiting ahead of us. After waiting for over a half hour, I asked again, "do we really have to wait for the piercer to return this piece???" She said the piercer handles the jewelry. We were there for a total of at least 50 minutes! The piercer finally comes to us and tells us that jewelry cannot be returned after it leaves the shop. Why didn't the lady sitting behind the register give us this information as soon as we told her why we came in to the shop, instead of making us wait for almost an hour to just be extremely disappointed after speaking with the piercer? This place sucks, no respect and no consideration for patrons' valuable time. I have never been to a tattoo and piercing shop where the person at the register doesn't have basic knowledge on the shop's jewelry "policies" Back story: my partner goes in to this shop to surprise me with a septum ring. Another piercer helps him with picking out the jewelry. Bless my partner's heart but he knows nothing about piercings. He shows the piercer a photo of what I usually wear and somehow they pick out a piece that's triple the size of what I wear. The piercer never told my partner that jewelry is final sale. This place is an absolute disappointment and not helpful at all! Buy your jewelry somewhere else and go to a shop where everyone in the establishment values you as a customer!
