I had such a great experience getting my nose pierced here. Kenji did an amazing job he was super fast, professional, and had me in and out in under 10 minutes. I was a little anxious, and he was very patient with me. We did the placement together and confirmed it before piercing. I really appreciated that he thought ahead and placed it in a spot that would also work well if I decide to switch to a hoop in the future. He suggested different jewelry options, and I went with a gold medium-sized stud, which I love. He explained aftercare clearly and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. The piercing itself was quick, and the pain was very manageable about a 5/10. Overall, such a smooth experience. I definitely recommend him and would come back again! read more

I called My Tattoo to inquire about a septum piercing, and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes. Kenji was very thorough and asked about my previous septum piercing from another shop. I told him I had taken it out almost four years ago. He suggested checking whether the holes were still open, and luckily they were, so he only had to stretch them a bit before putting the piercing back in. The process was completely painless, and I was in and out of the shop quickly. Also, free parking in the back of the shop. :) read more

So I'm not the type to usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience here. The reviews are extremely high and positive, that's why I came here for my first navel piercing.. Now I had an appointment and you go to the back.. it looks unorganized and really shady. Not the best place to get pierced. I didn't even feel comfortable, and my piercer was awkward. So they claim their jewelry is real titanium.. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I can only use real titanium/silver/gold. Clearly they don't use authentic jewelry from what they claim. I even added a photo. And that's not even the worst part. After this reaction, my piercing ball fell out. So I went back and pay to get another one. Not to mention, as I'm leaving the piecer is asking me if I want any other piercings and he's pressuring me to get more.. how weird. And a week later.. my piercing falls out AGAIN. This time, I don't go back but I look for another reputable piecer. I'm just kinda confused why the reviewers are unanimously positive.. this place isn't professional and you get pierced in a shady area in the back. I also didn't even feel comfortable. There is definitely better out there. I just wanted to share my experience in case other people are looking for a piercing and stumble upon this place. Tattooed by Will! Started off with just a forearm and ended up getting a full sleeve. The details and coloring were exactly what I wanted. I just gave Will a rough idea of what subjects I wanted and he did the rest. Turned out beautifully. He's also very accommodating with making appointments for the sessions. He tattoed me soooo many different times on different pieces of tattoos -------------------------- Updated review from most recent visit: I just got a new tattoo from Man Yao, AGAIN! It was to cover a very bad looking long scar caused by my cat's scratch on my calve. I've known Man for so long. He knew exactly what I'd like the tattoo to look like as I was describing to him. Kenji and Pinky were super friendly and helpful. I have too many piercings as is, but my boyfriend has virgin ears and just wanted to get some in the spur of the moment. Both Pinky and Kenji were chill, informative, and down to earth. One of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I've ever had. I came to My Tattoo to get my nipples pierced by a piercer named Kenji, and I left feeling violated, upset, and completely regretful of my decision. First, Kenji spent at least 30 minutes just marking my body -- far beyond what is necessary to check symmetry. I felt extremely uncomfortable with how long he was touching me. Then, he recommended a 16 gauge for the piercings, which I've now learned is absolutely not the standard or safe size for nipple piercings. It's too thin and can lead to rejection or other complications. A reputable piercer should know this. He told me he had to pierce one side deeper due to "asymmetry," and the result is that the bars are different lengths and the piercings are crooked. On top of that, he asked to take a photo of my pierced nipples -- something I now realize was totally inappropriate. There are no nipple piercings featured on his Instagram, which makes me question his real intentions. Between the photo request, the personal questions, and the strange comments, I felt objectified and uncomfortable the entire time. There were cameras in the room as well, and I'm honestly concerned about how that footage is handled. He also tried to get me to follow him on Instagram and, when I didn't, he insisted on getting my handle so I could contact him. That didn't feel professional -- it felt invasive. I specifically requested titanium jewelry due to sensitivities and general piercing standards, and he used stainless steel instead -- something that's not recommended for nipple piercings. I now either have to take them out and start over or go through the painful process of stretching them to the proper 14 gauge. All of this could have been avoided with a professional and knowledgeable piercer. And honestly, after everything, I just feel gross. Standing shirtless in front of someone who's asking unnecessary personal questions and not respecting boundaries for over an hour was not okay. If you are considering getting a piercing here: do your research. Don't make the same mistake I did. I do not recommend this shop, and especially not Kenji. read more

Great experience! My friends and I spontaneously decided to get piercings and they took us day of, no problem! Mackenzie pierced me. He is super sweet and made sure we felt comfortable. He informed us about the healing process and gave us some tips to avoid sleeping on the ear that was pierced. I love that they let you pick out your jewelry beforehand. I know some places only offer the silver titanium. I picked two little gold studs, and I think it makes my ear jewelry look cohesive. I got a double helix and I couldn't be happier! read more

The Shop & Staff - Clean shop with friendly and respectful employees, whether you are getting a tattoo or a piercing, you will be treated well. My artist, Sunny, is the best! From the consultation to the finished work, she worked with me and saw my vision making the finished product perfect! I was leery to get a tattoo at first, as I am older and had not had a tattoo before and did not know what to expect, but she quickly made me feel at ease. Over several sessions for my work, I was able to see a few other artists and their work. Lucy, Man and Horishin are really talented tattooists and take pride in what they do. All of their clients during my sessions were very pleased with what they were there for. Kenji, the piercer, does good work, as well, and his clients really like him (nearly all saying they are coming back for more). If you are coming here for a tattoo or a piercing, you will be treated well by people who take pride in their work. read more

He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. Unfortunately, this appointment fell well below that standard. I was originally quoted $80 for a Gel-X set, but once I arrived I was told there would be an additional $10 charge just to remove my existing Gel-X. From there, nearly every option came with another surcharge. Glitter was an additional charge, and placing the glitter at the base of the nail instead of the tip increased the price even further. The pricing structure felt confusing and constantly changing, making it difficult to know what the final cost would be. After hearing the additional charges, I decided against getting a new set and paid $45 for a manicure after the Gel-X removal. For $45, I expected my natural nails to leave looking polished and professionally finished. Instead, I left with: * Jagged, uneven nail edges that were not properly filed * Visible product residue still left on multiple nails * Uneven nail surfaces * Dry, unfinished cuticles * Nails that looked incomplete rather than professionally manicured I took photos immediately after leaving because I couldn't believe this was the finished result. The service itself was also disappointing. My technician, Annie, repeatedly stopped working on my nails to answer phone calls and attend to other matters. The appointment felt interrupted and rushed instead of relaxing. A manicure should feel calm and focused. This did not. The salon also raised concerns for me. The supply/storage area visible to customers was cluttered and disorganized, and I observed nail files being reused, which made me question the sanitation standards. Even checkout was frustrating. I wanted to leave a tip for the technician who performed my pedicure because she did a nice job, but the payment process made it difficult to direct the gratuity to the correct person. The biggest disappointment is that none of these issues should exist regardless of the price. Whether a manicure costs $25 or $45, customers should leave with nails that are smoothly filed, free of leftover product, and professionally finished. Those are basic expectations--not luxury extras. I left feeling disappointed, overcharged, and with nails that I could have filed more carefully at home myself. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

Have you ever seen a tattoo come to life? I haven't until meeting Lucy and seeing the amazing artwork she gave my boyfriend. Her passion and talent speaks volume in every stroke of art she inks. If you are lucky to land an appointment with Lucy, the wait - no matter how long or short - is worth it. Trust us, the months will go by so fast. It's also a blessing in disguise so that you have the time to think about what you really want to commit to before getting inked. I learned through my boyfriend that it is important for you to know what you want but also, be open-minded to what the artist recommends. Lucy's attention to detail is second to none and her insights guided my boyfriend to having a tattoo that he is completely obsessed with. My boyfriend knew what he wanted the months that led up to his appointment. He wanted a lion that would embody the lessons he has gained thus far from his chapters in life: strength, balance, perseverance and courage. After months of research to find a trustworthy and skilled tattoo artist like Lucy, we already knew Lucy's artistic ability was top notch in the industry but the final outcome surpassed what my boyfriend and I could've ever envisioned. The first time I saw the tattoo, it felt like Lucy had custom tailored every feature of the lion to resemble my boyfriend's characteristics and the person he embodies - one who is trustworthy and hungry for knowledge and wisdom. Lucy's work exceeded beyond our expectations. Mario Caudillo did my first of four tattoos at my tattoo. He is an amazing black and grey artist but is not limited! I would expect to see a lot of his ink in a chapel! My hannya which was a cover up of an old custom Phoenix can be seen in his instagram! It was done in December 2015! I have seen a lot of his other work as far as realism goes Mario can literally put what you want on your skin! I have never seen anything like it! Man Yao did my second tattoo here. Man Yao did a crest combined with one piece stamp of the dragon. I have spent a lot of time at this shop and I have seen him do lots of beautiful writing, flowers and some detailed custom Chinese, Japanese and Mayan artwork tattoos! Man is hilarious, awesome and handles his business! He does most of the piercings in the shop too. Horishin did my last two breast and quarter sleeve tattoos he is an amazing artist! Horishin has the most amazing Japanese art style! Take any of the Japanese folklore he has an idea, concept and beautiful masterpiece to put on skin. From the gods of Shinto to all of the yokai! If you want an anime tattoo I have seen them healed. people continue to come back and get more! The art is better than the anime art! Horishin has an in depth knowledge about everything he tattoos which makes it even better if you actually care about what you are putting on your skin. I have spent over 80 hours in this shop. Everyone I have met at this shop is awesome, clean, nice, funny and respectful to everyone who comes in the shop. This is an awesome shop with an unlimited amount of talent! This is a shop of the original Japanese tradition. Each artist must tattoo themselves before tattooing others and must have knowledge and respect of anything they put on a person's skin! I saw Lucy's work on Instagram and fell in love with her watercolour pieces. As I go to Los Angeles once a year, I decided to try to get a consult and an appointment with her. Two years ago, I consulted with her for an upper arm tattoo of plants: I studied botany in college and wanted a piece to remind me of my love of plants. Over the course of several emails, I discussed with her what sort of piece I wanted: what plants would be most interesting to me and what colours I wanted her to include. My communication with her was excellent and I grew very excited to get a piece from her. Today, I came in for my tattoo. She presented me with her design, incorporating culinary herbs and flowers that I loved. It was gorgeous and I was impressed with the research and accuracy of her design. I told her that I was nervous, as I had not sat for that length of time for a piece in the past, but she was very reassuring and we started on my arm piece. She was very responsive throughout the tattooing process, where I took a few necessary breaks. She also talked to me and we had enjoyable conversation. Sometimes, I turned on my audio book and listened to that, which she accommodated without a problem. We took a longer break for dinner, and quickly resumed to finish it. It's everything that I wanted from an upper arm piece and more: the little touches she added here and there are delightful! I waited two years for a piece from her and it was worth it, not just in the finished piece but in the design and the creative process. I wish I can give this place 0 star. I came here for my first tattoo and they f*cked my tattoo up so bad. It's nothing like what I wanted. I went home and cried myself to sleep that night. Just thinking about having this tattoo on me forever makes me want to cry again right now. I feel like they didn't take me seriously. He drew it on me and didn't really even show it to me and just tattooed it on. It's on me, shouldn't I have a say? Unfortunately, it was on my back so I couldn't see it unless he gives me a mirror. I went home and noticed that it's not what I want. They don't take their job seriously but they should because they need to realize how important this is to us ... tattoos are permanent. what they tattoo on us will be printed on us forever. They don't seem to realize that. My advice? Go to someplace else. Go find someone who actually takes their job seriously cause these people don't. Especially the guy named man. I feel like they use to take their job more carefully ... until now their store is spreading and becoming more successful so they're all slacking off. Don't go to this place just because someone went here and got a nice tattoo ... it's not like that anymore. This is the tattoo shop I go to for all of my tattoo, and Man did most of them along with a few piercings. I can not say enough good things about this shop! Although I usually come in really late, Man, Kohei, Lucy, Alex, Bruce, Danny and everyone else at the shop still greet me with a big smile! making all my experiences here unforgettable! Man is seriously a really talented artist! I am extremely picky with tattoos, I simply explain to him in a sentence or less of what I want, and he'll be able to design a one of a kind masterpiece. I get endless compliment on all of my tattoo done by Man, especially the lion that he recently did. I am always so impressive with his work and everyone else's work at my tattoo. All the artist here have a different and unique style, so there is a lot of variety to choose from. I've been to a bunch of places for piercing over the pass 10 years and after coming to Man... I think I found the best piercing guy ever! Man doesn't just treat his customer like a simple customer he treats them all like friends, I always complain to him and he still has so much patient and is super caring. I came in today for my second piercing. Although I wasn't pierced by the one who did my first piercing, the gentleman I was assigned with was just as awesome! When we stepped through the door, we were warmly greeted with sweet faces & were attended to fairly quickly. Employees were very professional & made my experience a lot less nerve-wracking by creating a light-hearted comedic atmosphere & walking me through the process along the way. My piercer was very understanding & patient when I needed to take a second, not at all in a rush or annoyed by this. I was also honored by the fact that my session was utilized as an opportunity to teach two other employees on how to do this particular piercing. Although unexpected, I felt very comfortable & even gained a bit of insight & knowledge myself. From the jokes & laughs to advice & comforting reassurances, as well as explaining the aftercare process & what to expect, I was very grateful for their professionalism, & overall care that was displayed. i just have to say that this is by far the best tattoo shop i have ever been to. not only are the artists extremely talented and professional, they make you feel like you are part of the family. they talk to you, entertain you, crack jokes, and are more than happy to have a conversation with you for HOURS! but of course you shouldn't take advantage of their kindness and leave them to concentrate on their work. :) They will work around the clock and make sure you are absolutely satisfied before any work is done on your body. once you walk in you will be surrounded by awards that the boss has won. after glancing at the catalog and the pictures of their art you WILL be sold and will have to make an appointment. the body piercings are just as amazing! the end results will have you standing there with a giant smile on your face and leave you more than satisfied! after getting my tattoo cherry popped here i recommend every single one of my friends to try this place out. and every single one of them has come back with four thumbs way up. trust me, you will not be disappointed and is worth the wait and the money. read more

This was my second time at this location due to my friend having an appointment with Lucy. Coming in to the shop always welcoming !! As I was waiting for my friend I decided to get a dermal piercing. They were very busy & said to wait until someone was available, I had to wait regardless- for my friend. Fortunately Man Yao was available after 30 minutes! I previously had a tattoo done by him, I thought he wasn't going to remember me since he has so many clients. But he did remember me and he even offered to touch up my tattoo !! The Piercing process was a piece of cake ! it was done within 5 minutes. He was very gentle and made sure that I was comfortable. It was painless! My other friend who also came along with us was thinking about getting her first tattoo & MAN had just cancelled an appointment so she was lucky to get him as well. ! I wish I could give 3.75 stars. I've been coming here for years! I've gotten piercings and tattoos here and my whole family has gotten piercings and tattoos here. I came here for my 18th bday and my 29th. Ive been a long time customer and fan of their work. I took one star off because some of their artist (sunny) take designs for tattoos without crediting the artist. It's one thing to take an idea but to trace 95% of a design and tattoo it as if it's your own art and post it in IG as your own art makes me question this shops integrity. Also when I came in I got bad vibes from the short apprentice. I noticed they have like 8 apprentices. In LA most tattoo parlors only accept 1 apprentice a year and they choose a talented artist so they can be able to create designs. Their work is clean here but not original. I have a lot of happy memories here so I'll give them 3 stars but there are many other young talents popping off right now so I may shop around for a new place. read more

I got lobe piercings today and I am BEYOND IMPRESSED with this establishment!! Walking into the shop, it was a cool, yet relaxed atmosphere. The artists' work is showcased in the room and the attention is well-deserved. These artists are phenomenal! And their bathroom is on-point clean (seriously, y'all do good work). Seeing that, I could tell this was a place I could trust and I was more at ease. It should be said that I am the BIGGEST wimp imaginable when it comes to pain. These were my first piercings ever and I was so so nervous. But my piercer, Alex, was so patient with me. He was informative, patient, and had a great sense of humor about the situation. After taking some extra time to make sure my piercings would match on each of my lobes, he pierced them and I was done within minutes! As i look at my new tat , I couldnt believe my eyes how beautiful, sexy and bad ass my tattoo turned out to be. Everytime i get new ink from "My Tattoo" they always exceed my expectations. I was a little anxious before I walked in to My Tattoo, it being my fourth tattoo parlor, I wondered if I was going to leave still feeling like I hadn't met a that perfect artist yet. Boy was I wrong. Everyone there is amazing, and also a bunch of nerds. While I was waiting for my tattoo artist Alex to finish stenciling I got into a rad discussion with the other artist and some of the clients about tons of Anime and Manga, so I mean if you're a fan like me, you'll dig this place. Nerd talk aside. I was blown away by some of the work being done that day, as well as the work the had posted up on the walls. I'm in love with not only my Princess Mononoke Tattoo (because it was everything I wanted) but with this shop itself. They make such beautiful body art and I can't wait to go back for more. I had a chance to go with my friend who was getting a tattoo. My friend had an appointment with Lucy who worked in the private studio on the second floor. We check in at the first floor and the staffs were really friendly and the place was clean and well organized. I was really impressive with all the awards they got all over the world. The private studio on the second floor was really nice, like a nice Asian fusion lounge. The owner/artist, Jess Yen, was really cool guy and very talent. I was reading his featured magazines while waiting for my friend. I found out from my friend that both Jess and Lucy have a long waiting for an appoitment. However, it is all worth it. The tattoo is forever and I would want the best work on my skin. Now, I am on the waiting list and is looking foward to the best My Tattoo. read more

We'd like thank Alex for helping us. Great service, Friendly atmosphere Awesome people! My boyfriend came in to get some specific piercings on his ear. We called ahead to find out the piece and if walk in's are welcome. (Yes they are) As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was great! We were greeted as soon as we stepped in, Alex helped us out and did the piercings him self. He was patient and helpful, very friendly Also met "Man Yao" super cool guy. After the piercings my bf asked Alex if he could reshoot one of them and Alex agreed but we had to wait for the current cut to heal, but with my guys bomb genetics (lol) we only had to wait a week and came to get it fixed right away! After years of having a tramp stamp on my lower back I have been waiting for the perfect cover up, but more importantly the best person to do the cover up. I found My Tattoo on line and quickly realized how talented the people that work there are. Mario did a cover up on my fiance and it was amazing, I was excited to get mine done. Today was that day, Mario did my cover up better than I imagined. You cannot see anything of the previous tattoo. I am beyond happy with the work he did and I am even more excited to get my next tattoo done by him. I have definitely found the perfect spot to get my tattoos. One name.... Lucy Hu...... I was willing to wait until March 2018 for an appointment with her... 2018!!!!!!! And she would have been well worth the wait. Glad that I didn't have to wait tho (thank you fool that cancelled!!) Her art on my leg is AMAZING!! My 8th tattoo and currently my most favorite of them all. The shop is SUPER - cool staff and patrons. Vibe is chill and comfortable. I want to tell people to come see her, but I don't want to have to wait until 2019 to see her again (my bff and I are planning a bff tattoo and want to come see her!) DO NOT GET A PIERCING BY KAYLA HERE! I never write reviews but this was a terrible experience. Im terrified of needles and Kayla had to repierce me multiple times after messing up my septum. After I went home My piercing was stiff and got infected. I went to another shop and they informed me she pierced through my cartilage twice!!! Now I have to pay and go through the painful experience again. It's clear that she is inexperienced with piercing and just trying to get money. When I told her about my concerns she insured me that it was even and correct. She was sweet but now I can tell she was just trying to get me to leave. She took a copy of my inspo pic and got to work on the stencil. she came back with 3 sizes to give me a choice..how thoughtful was that?!! I chose the largest size and she got right to work. She made me feel comfortable as she worked on my shoulder and we chatted about life and love. i couldn't even tell you how long it took as i was so relaxed in her presence, metal playing in the background, feeling my anger slowly fade away with each stroke of the needle. She started a color count down, letting me know she was almost done. that's when the tears started. I swear it wasn't from the pain!! it was just from the exhilaration of being done and the release of anger. I practically ran to the mirror to see the finished artwork. After speaking to her about my idea(s), she offered to me, with 100% confidence that she could do a "Realism" portrait of him. After putting my trust in her, she came through. She blew me away with the final stroke of her tattoo gun. I couldn't have been happier. Following that, I asked her to do a portrait of my other Frenchie. She immediately said yeas and was very excited to continue this journey. She delivered another masterpiece. Now I have both of my boys on my leg. We talked and discussed my next project. By this time Kaythleen had earned the title of Tattoo Artist. She was no longer an apprentice. I had been wanting to do a full leg sleeve of the Darkside characters of Star Wars. Mainly sidious, maul, and vader. She was again very excited to take on this challenge and make it happen. He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.
