I went to your store in San Mateo on El Camino recently. The manager on duty was NOT wearing a face mask (she had long black hair) and was reprimanding a worker as I walked in! The person in question she was reprimanding from who I had over heard just came in! This worker had their head down and seemed emotionally upset over her tone; which honestly I could understand. (Overweight with short hair) The manager noticed I had come in MISGENGENDERED ME and Glared as if I was interrupting her. As a customer I was offended by the glare. Went shopping here back in JANUARY for some items. Used a YELP deal ($30.00) Voucher to save some money and to give it shot. Long story short. I was over charged by the gentleman who rang me up. He was unable to refund my card and told me to contact the owner/manager of the store two days later. I did exactly that. I was treated as if I was a bill collector when I first asked for the lady. When she realized I was a customer she put back on her professional demeanor. She was aware of the situation which was awesome to me. I didn't need to re explain myself. But here is where it got ugly. -Her "It will take a lot to get the money back on your card." -Me "OK but, I was overcharged and would like to be refunded. -Her "I can give you a $30 dollar in store credit" -Me "No, I was overcharged and would like my money back on my card" -Her (attitude included) "Fine, come into the store when I am here and I will take care of it" -Me (attitude reciprocated) "I cant come in until next week, since I work every week day" -Her "It needs to be sooner than later or I can't do it." -Me "Not my error and I expect for it to be done. I work weekdays are you available on weekends?" -Her- "I am off weekends" -Me- "Fine I will come in next week" I come in the following week after work 5pm sharp. She wasn't there. I leave a message with the gentleman to please have her contact me and she knows what it was regarding. It is now June... I have yet to see the $30.00 back onto my card or receive a call from her. I was in this store a couple weeks ago: things are overpriced, and they have the worst customer service ever! There are two employees at the front desk: an old caucasian man, his name is Bob (like 60 years old) and a caucasian fat woman with red hair, they are both mean and totally need to go to a Customer Service school. Do not support this company. They are thieves and don't deserve to be in business. I decided to buy my wife some toys on Friday for our anniversary weekend to spice things up a bit. I told the sales lady that I was looking for a remote controlled device for my wife. She was extremely friendly and said that she had one that didn't come with a remote control included, but that it was bluetooth enabled and could be controlled by an iPhone. I thought "perfect, I don't want to carry around a remote anyway". So I buy the device and when I get home, I download the app and try to set things up. To my surprise, the device has no such feature which made the whole purchase pointless, and we were leaving shortly for our trip so I couldn't do anything about it. I simply left everything home expecting to return it the following week. After returning from a great weekend with my wife, absent the sex toys, I call the company and explain what happened. Fortunately the lady who sold it to me remembers me, and remembers telling me that it was remote controllable, so I figure everything will be OK. Next she drops the bomb. " Sorry but we have a no return policy" I say, I understand that, but this isn't the product that you sold me and you know it, so I would expect you to take it back since you lied about its capability in order to sell it to me. She said there was nothing she could do. I then explained that it was OK and that I would just call my credit card company and have them reverse the charges and return everything once the charges were reversed. Suddenly she changed her tune. She then said that she had a new one coming in about 2 weeks from today and that she could exchange it for the difference in cost for the remote version which was twice the price and $80 more expensive than everywhere else on the web. In fact , after checking with other stores, the device that I purchased was already 20% more expensive than other places. I then explained that I never would have purchased the product for $220 and that I'd just like my money back since my anniversary was already over and I didn't even get to use the device. Plus the device that was correct was only $149 everywhere else and not $220. So when I explain that her price is way too high and that I simply want to return the item, she gets incredibly rude like I am asking for something completely unreasonable and insults me. Incredible. Make your customer feel bad that they'd like their money back because you defrauded them. Great way to stay in business. I now suspect that every negative review is accurate, and that the 5 stars are probably fabricated by the owner or his friends. After reading the negative ones, particularly the detailed one about the $30 overcharge, I totally believe that this place would do that. There is no way that this place gets 5 stars, and they certainly shouldn't be allowed to be in business with their current policies. read more

I came into secrets on a Friday morning looking for something exotic for my wife. This was my first time coming in and I was completely clueless . I'm not sure of her name but she greeted me with a smile and helped me decided what to get my wife. She went on about all the different products and what they were used for .
