Unfortunately, I don't have much patience for sifting through racks, trying on things and realizing ugh...um, major NO! Fortunately, Sophia made my shopping experience seamless! Within 5 minutes of walking in, she offered her assistance and listened to what I was looking for. First, she took my measurements and then did all the sifting through the racks, went thru the drawers and quickly retrieved the styles sets I mentioned and provided alternatives on styles that were not available. Friendly, efficient, and true professional After spending some major $$$ and making automatic "VS silver card member" status I was outta there in 50mins! Thank you Sophia for being my shopping concierge! ***5 stars goes to Sophia** but minus a star for a (never fail) slow checkout...either not opening more stations (especially, when pushing customers to open a VS account) or failing to notice its 15 customer deep. 20 mins of being in the store was standing in line.Ugh read more

I'm boycotting VC forever. There's nothing swxy about men in women's lingerie, in my opinion, even if they're made up to look like women. When I wear lingerie, I don't want to be associating how I feel with the thought of men in lingerie. I can't believe this company that helped us women feel sexy would have men in their fashion show. I support people doing and wearing whatever they want in the privacy of their own homes -- go for it, as long as you're not harming someone else. But these male models is just too "woke" for me. If 0 stars could be possible to leave I would, and honestly I'm never shopping at any VS again. Workers were nowhere to be seen and when asked for help she told me to "just look around" when I already did and that's the whole point I asked her to search for it as I didn't find the panties myself. Long wait when asked for a dressing room. Big line at the register with only one lady working very slowly, two others were near her but just talking to each other. Horrible return process, forced to buy an additional item for the price to go way beyond the returned item, when I purposely tried to go under and make the return supposedly easier. It's a shame that I have to write this review. I don't want to sound entitled in any shape or form because I know that retail is hard (specially with covid and an increase of entitlement for some odd reason). All I need to say is that I'm really scared of this store. I loved shopping here. It was one of my top stores that I visit. But something happened on my last trip to this location. I was harassed by other customers while staff watched. I was in line to purchase my stuff and two women cut me in line (I was on edge and speechless because of social anxiety and being out numbered). They were slightly aggressive towards me. I tried to get attention of the staff but my efforts were sadly ignored. Later, these women waited at the counter and decided to grab more items. Instead of going around, minding social distancing, and others' personal space. They shoved me multiple times to grab their things. This was in front of the staff, other costumers, and the manager (yes they glanced my way). A staff member offered the people behind me to check out even though I was visibly distressed, shaken, and next in line. I felt (and still feel) helpless, with no one to hear me out or to lend a hand during the very distressing moment. There were many moments where they could've help defuse the situation. Main message of this post: Please, be kind and mindful while shopping. Always remember that your not above other customers ( a line is a line, everyone should wait their turn). And if you have young ones who frequent here, make sure they are in a secure group or under supervision. Because I don't trust the staff to help your teens if they were to get in an unfortunate altercation. Stay safe. read more

I remember this place (like the whole mall) was fantastic place to be on Friday or Saturday. Now it just another depressing mall with a bunch of ppl with zero etiquette of not knowing how to walk in a straight line. Zigzagging all over the place. Now you are wondering what does it have to do with this place. Well...those same ppl with no etiquette are also the very same that work here. I remember once upon a time Victoria's Secret was a classy place with their employees friendly and watch the customers with care. For decades, I have been a patron, easily spending thousands over the years. Today, I brought my elderly mother in law to help her shop for a "luxury" bra. I wanted he to have the kind customer service I experienced in years passed. We were met with only rude young girls who were interruptive, careless and just downright disrespectful. Do better VS. I bought a strapless bra from the Great Mall in Milpitas but this is my local VS. Came back to return it as it was supremely uncomfortable. The manager - who unmistakably has the "can I speak to a manager" bob haircut - told me I may need to go back ALL THE WAY to Milipitas to return the item. I don't appreciate being told that when all the information she had was there - tag was in the bag, I provided my card and the receipt. I understand returns are frustrating. I worked in retail. But what I don't appreciate is being treated like I'm an inconvenience. The lady ended up successfully returning the item and just walking away. This store is crumbling under its lack of proper customer service. In the past I've been fitted quite wrongly and took recommendations on lingerie that either had a short lifespan or was ill fitting. I'm not sure why people don't like this Victoria's Secret store. Hubby and I strolled in after dinner at the Cheesecake Factory looking for my Christmas presents (yes, I pick out many of my own). The girl who helped us out rocked!!! She knew where everything was and tried to find things that would flatter this old girl and keep Hubby happy. She was totally professional and really helpful. Seems to be a lot of hating on this place and I simply can't understand why? The store is pretty well stocked and the staff really helpful and know their stuff. Former fatty here I thought finding nice lingerie would be easier now but no. Every store I have tried has failed me until VS. Downside to loosing weight = Lady lumps going buh bye too *sad face* so for the last year I have been on a desperate search for a decent multi way that also gave a little 'ooomph' that would go with any the dozens of dresses I have in my closet (strapless, halterneck ect). The sales girl in this store that helped me (so sorry, I forgot the assistants name... began with a V) was so helpful and sorted me out with the PERFECT one yesterday and was so patient while I tried on the many she brought to me to try on. I must have been in there about 45 minutes. Their underwear selection is pretty good too. I usually find stores have two sorts of underwear on completely different ends of the scale - unflattering Granny panty or see through lace bum flossing 'come get me' type. Neither of which are all that appealing and I'm sure the majority of women will agree with me here when I say I want something in between the two. I want something a little cute / sexy whilst also being comfortable. Because honestly there really is nothing comfortable about having a piece of lace separate your a$$ cheeks. (Sorry lads, it's true!). But anyway.. VS manage to combine the two and they have some great deals on them as well (3 for $30 / 4 for $28 ect). They also do Sleepwear, Swimwear (seasonal) and their iconic 'Pink' line of Sweats & Hoodies along with Beauty items (Fragrances and Lotions ect). Plus they regularly have deals on when if you spend a certain amount you get a free item. I just got one of their Limited edition Fashion Show T Shirts worth $45. Woohoo. It was a little crowded and I stumbled around the store like a stunned animal. Long, long, long ago I worked at Nordstrom in Palo Alto, home to a company pace setter in lingerie. I have been meaning to be fitted since then, and have never gotten around to it. But I did know that the concept of 'being fitted' existed. Karen, the store manager, and I made eye contact. I said "help," and she measured, and sent me off to the fitting room to find Daja. Daja took over from there, and it was magic. Measured, fitted, given options to try on. Voila! I found 4 styles that were comfortable, one was the best in terms of fit and comfort. I also found the ultimate oxymoron: a comfortable strapless bra. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend being fitted to find out what styles work best for your body. "Pro-tips": going in for a fitting? Just head to the fitting room, they'll get you everything you need from there. Like sales and deals? Nude, Black, White never go on sale (unless there has been a re-design), but seasonal colors do go on sale. read more

Management needs to rethink on the type of sales people they are hiring! My grandma was visiting from Colombia last week, and she is a big fan of Victoria's Secret and other brands at The Hillsdale Mall. So I decided to drop her off the mall to go shopping​! She was with my grandpa who speaks little English, but they both understand it. When they asked for someone to help them, the Lady who first came and gave her name was Denise, but then because they needed help in Spanish Denise referred​ them to a younger lady, I believe her name is Angela, this lady Angela started to help them in Spanish, but acted as if she was being forced to do so! Then my grandma asked for a specific panty and Angela told her they didn't have it, then my grandma asked for something similar, then the lady told her, in a very rude way "there" pointing the other room, with her finger... like telling her to ​go do it on her own, or in a "leave me alone" tone! My grandma kept on asking where so Angela simply refused to keep helping her, ignored her and just walk away. My grandma felt like she didn't need​ to be treated this way, especially​ when I've been a reward/credit​ Angel VIP card member forever, and she's never had this problem in any other store for speaking Spanish with Spanish​ speaker associates. I'm not sure what kind of culture or work ethics Victoria's Secret has, but if they are going to be this disrespectful​ with the Latin Community WHILE being Latin​ and brown skin, then I would rethink the type of upper-level​ managing I'm having on my stores. Do they don't train them on colorism and racism? I'm leaving this bad review so the managers can take action and talk about these​ issues. The Lady Denise was a little helpful​ but did not say anything to her coworker Angela (maybe because she is not a manager), but, are they just going to ignore this and just let it keep happening? She also seemed like she tried to help, but she got frustrated​ and went and get another Spanish​ speaker sales person who finally was able to help my grandma, the new salesperson​ a petite girl was kind, patient​ and way nicer with my grandparents, but we didn't get her name. This place can do better with respect to customer service. No one helps you at the store and you have to keep grabbing people in charge to help you. The quality of store maintenance can also be improved. I had purchased merchandise worth $75 and when I claimed my free slippers, I was charged 10 bucks for them. The cashier said that it is a part of 'online tax' and when I tried talking to customer service online, I was told to go back to the store. I came here 3-4 months ago and the cashier was just very rude to my inquiries like she thought she was all that. I wasn't done talking yet and she would interrupt me like she knew everything. She answered my question in a very rude way that I had to look for the store manager Rachel to tell her of this cashier employee. I don't think she wanted to be there to work. I said I wouldn't be back but then again I did as it just happened that we were at Hillsdale and they had a sale weeks ago, so I went in and gave them another chance. Sales people on the floor were pleasant and ready to help, but when I got to the cashier, another unhappy employee ringing my stuff. Just said hi just for the sake of it, no eye contact and smile. She packed my stuff and I noticed that she didn't give me a free blanket so I inquired about it. She took one next to her and put it in the bag. Didn't say nothing... No thank you just gave me the bag. I wonder why they are not happy with their jobs here. Today, we stopped by again to give them their last chance. I tried to return something and the lady who helped me was just rude. Didn't greet me with a smile, no hi or hello just straight to the point and asked why I was returning the stuff. She was just frowning the whole time and talked to me like she didn't want to be there. I won't be back to this store. It's got a great selection of chonies and unmentionables and little lacy frillies. The beauty department has all the usual stuff. Service is attentive & friendly. Everything is clean and organized. Holy Demi-Cup! It's not like I'm a 38FF or a 30AA! Isn't this a store that specializes in bras and panties??? My favorite part, however, is the roped off line to the register. This VS has two register counters with at least 6 registers. Yet, they never open more than one register at a time. Meanwhile, the Panty Patrol is securing the other areas of the store and making you wait 20 minutes to be rung up. So I'm going to Brasil soon and I'm getting gifts for my friend and his family. What to get for his wife? Well I know when my female Brasil colleagues come to the US they always go to VS to get lingerie and lotion. So why not? I am a loyal Victoria's secret shopper and have been shopping there for years. Never had I had a bad experience at any store, especially in customer service. Today, I went in to the Hillsadale mall with a friend who was redeeming her VS secret gift card and was appalled and humiliated at the way I was accused of stealing a hat from their store. Jessica a salesperson with long black hair went up to me when I was at the register with my friend and in front of many customers claimed that I stole a hat that I brought into the dressing room, when in fact she was not even working at the dressing room and I did not bring anything in to the dressing room. I was just going with my friend to see if a particular shirt fit her. She loudly accused me of theft in front of at LEAST 6 other customers standing behind us in line. When I said No , she asked if I was sure that I didn't steal. At that point I was completley humiliated and furious at such an accusation towards me, so I showed her my bag and left the store. I left the store knowing that because of this particular case I would never be shopping at VS again, especially at this location due to horrible customer service and accusations without any evidence. I, myself work in customer service and know that this kind of behavior is beyond unnacceptable and can truly leave a horrible reputation on the company. I understand the need for loss prevention at most stores, but accusing someone of theft with no basis is intolerable and RUDE! If she really was that suspicious of me, she should have pulled me aside and asked me in private, or checked security cameras before accusing me. This would have prevented the utter humiliation I felt. Therefore, I plan to contact corporate letting them know of this situation and I will never be coming back here again and I am sure as soon as I let my friends and family know about this case they will not be shopping here either. read more

(starts to walk to the other side of the store, I follow.) VS girl: "Here it is!" (shows me a grey flannel bra with no under-wire.) me: (staring) "What part of that bra matches the bra I showed you?" Suck it up and don't complain because your style and choice of underwear is actually conservative rather than sexy. You're not done with the store...the store is done with you." I WOULD RATHER GO ONLINE!!!! This place was SOO RUDE!!!! I came to return my Christmas present because it was too big. Pretty standard in retail... I know because I worked Nordstroms, one of the best and most unforgiving retail stores of them all..... Not only did I get sighs and eye rolling at the inconvenience of them having to call 2 stores (it's called your JOB!), but the lady at the cash register TOOK A FULL 5 MINUTES TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY PRESENCE. The only reason she did help me after 5 minutes of her looking at me and looking away as I looked around me and there was no one else in line, as she did nothing.... was because I approached the counter and she could not ignore me now. I make sure to recognize good service because I am still in customer service field, but this was deplorable!!!! I went from wanting to spend $50 on top of a $50 exchange to going home with the whole $109 and saying NEVER AGAIN!!!! I suggest driving the extra miles to ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! I only come to this Victoria's Secret because it's so close to my house. Anytime I ask for help; I usually get sub par customer service. And if I don't ask for help I get bugged when I want to search for my bras & panties in peace. However, this store is better than the Tanforan & Serramonte locations. I've noticed the new Vintage Victoria line for the past few weeks. I've been searching for one of the bras I saw online at the Valley Fair location but no luck. It's the new demi bra from that line; I know that they've had the push-up bra in all the stores for awhile. I called the store to see if they had it in my size either color & to put it on hold; the girl who answered the phone said they did. I was looking for a specific bra that I didn't know if they still made and I got great service. Then at the counter the girl at the register was slammed with a long line and she was still totally polite and friendly....WHILE getting yelled at on the phone by an unhappy customer. I wonder how many men are checking these reviews just to see women talk about bras? Ah, something we don't have back home in Hawaii, the legendary Victoria's Secret. Before I moved out here, whenever someone was going to the mainland, there'd be requests for Victoria's Secret bras & Krispy Kreme. Weird combo, but if you're from Hawaii you know what I'm talking about. But anyway, I've been to a few of them, including one in Las Vegas, and each time I go in I think that the customer service is pretty good. I feel really bad for Melissa's bad experience, but I haven't ever encountered it. Maybe i'm really lucky that way. First off, the bra quality is amazing, most people know that. Now to get location specific. They helped me find one that fit just right. Even as I was in the dressing room they ran out and grabbed me more to try on. I coulda lived without the excruciatingly long line, and by excruciating, I mean that I was amazed a line that took this long to get through that wasn't during the holiday season (back in may). Overall, i rate this experience less than the one in LV, so it gets 3 stars. read more
