Upon first glance this shop is a hole in the wall, walk by. The coast is known for flashy appearances and far out spectacles of ocean swag, and the view of this shop from the street leaves you wanting, but that's where the negatives end. Walking in you're greeted by friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere unique to this culture. The employees are knowledgeable about what they sell, and have no problem recommending products that will fit your description. The decor could be better, but in an industry where shitty smoke shops with egos and one flavor dominate, the building bar, juice counter, and mod selection reign king. YES! The only negative thing I have to say about Sector Vape is that they don't have a shop in Carpinteria which would be closer to me. This place is on point. Praise the vaping lords!!! After searching throughout Socal for my current addiction(Love Potion), I finally stumbled upon this place while visiting my family. I was pretty disappointed at first because initially they didn't have it in stock. However they invited me to take a seat anyways, and try out some other popular flavors they carried. I tried a few and was able to pick some good ones I liked. Even with some new decent flavors, Love Potion was still on my mind. The person working told me that if I really wanted it, I should leave my phone number. They would contact me when they have it in stock. A few weeks went by and what do you know? THEY KEPT THEIR WORD. I received a phone call while at work explaining that the potions were in. At that point I really didn't want to be at work anymore. All I could think about is getting my hands on that beautiful juice. I suffered like a crack addict for the next few days until I was able to take the trip out there to pick up the goods. Even though I have only been here twice, I can tell that these guys know what they're talking about. Not only is their shop really nice, but they have a wide selection of items. I was in town for an off-road event at Oceano Dunes, saw the banner so decided to stop here to replace my tank and battery that I dropped in the dunes. Immediately it was clear that this shop does not cater to casual vape'rs or people who don't use mechanical vapes, which is totally ok. I support high-end vape shops. I went here and bought a tank (T3'd I think and a fat Vision Spinner). I think I spent $60 but could be higher or lower. By the time I was home the tank they sold me already stopped working. Took it to my loyal vape shop and they proved that it was the tank's problem and not the battery. So, I bought a new tank and an extra battery. Within a day, the Vision battery they sold me had stopped working too, I pushed the button in and it never came out. Hopefully my local vape shop can fix it. I'll cal the shop and hopefully they will replace my purchases with working ones, but knowing vape shops they will tell me they have been used too much and can't be replaced. Terrible selection, terrible quality. Do not use this shop unless you seriously know what you are doing. read more

When you have a bad experience it's always a good idea to cool down and think it out before you blast someone more than they deserve on yelp.Vape shops all have their little quirks, so they can be hard to compare fairly. This place gets about 20% on the satisfaction meter for me which equals one star. Here's why: 1.) Starting with the good. The juice is loose: This place has the best selection of juice of anywhere I have been on the central coast. They have it set up like a bar which gives it a nice feel until you notice the inevitable tool-bag vape douche crew sitting around cackling at every other customer that comes in and cloud-chasing on the side. America's finest. 2.) If you need anything done besides a coil/wick change (which I do much better than the one they provided with my mod) or a new battery, then expect the look of a deer in the headlights right before impact. I brought in a mod I purchased there about 5 weeks ago ($80 at 50% off sale) that was shorting out, they quickly implied that I was lying and that they didn't carry that (idiots) and that they don't repair anything, I'd have to send it in. Then the guy who had sold it to me said that they never had it in that color (bahahahaha). Apparently the "smart" one of the group told the guy who sold it to me not to touch it because then they would be liable. (wtf?) So this is how you should expect to be treated if you take a vape back to have it repaired. This happened today, I won't be back. 3.) Horrible mod selection. This shop has the smallest selection of mods of any vape store I have been to. Not kidding. It's actually really surprising. I only bought one here because the guy ran through them and they had one for 50% off. 4.) They have no nicotine to add to the juices to adjust to your liking. This place has been out of nicotine solution for over 3 months. Every time I go in there I ask, they say no, then I ask are you really going to get it? and they say Yes, it just takes a while to get it.....wtf? hahahaha I once again never been to a store that does not have this as a staple. 5.) They will not kick you a deal when you buy a bunch of stuff. Most vape shops will at least knock some cash of the juice or something when you make some big purchases....not this place. Overall this place could be really awesome, but is not being managed effectively. They are a good place to get juice 6mg or less, go somewhere else for everything else. read more

The first mod I bought leaked, I went in and they replaced it for free then that mod leaked, so I went in again and bought one of the most expensive mods available. THEN THAT ONE LEAKED AS WELL. So i just stopped going to this place. Their juices are amazing and they have a great selection but I would not buy any "equipment" here (thats just me). I've had my friends that vape more than me and have nicer mods, look at mine and were suprised that it leaks. Sucks i spent like $150 on bad equipment for one mod plus juice. I can understand making errors and filling tanks wrong causing it to leak but I've gone into other shops with the same mod and they said it was a faulty. Just buy their juices. read more

I used to come to this place every week throughout the summer. Sonny always helped me and was always helpful in suggesting flavors for me when they didn't have my usual. He apparently left to college up North. Since then everyone I have dealt with has been extremely unhelpful. I have worked in customer service for over 7 years and these so called adults seem to have no idea what customer service is. recently, I went in and they didn't have my usual Flavor. I told the guy the flavor I usual like and his response was, "oh". That's it! While he continued to sit there and vape. Just oh. No suggestions. Nothing! When I go in looking for something specific you don't have, I expect someone to make a suggestion.. not just oh. I was so lost in the multitudes of new liquid they had, I had to wait when I asked to see a flavor chart so he could find it... Awesome.. NOT! This was by far the most awkward and uncomfortable experience I've had with them. unhelpful Is a complete understatement!!!
