We tried to return it on Saturday, but the door was locked and the sign said drop off returns are not accepted and to return when the facility opens. We took it today and she first said we didn't bring it back Saturday because she never saw us and was on site all day. Turned out she was in her house and the maintenance man said he saw us. Then she said she saw us, but couldn't answer as to why she didn't come over to take the return. She was screaming like a banshee. I've never seen such complete lack of customer service, nor have I ever had anyone scream at me! She also charged us an extra day for returning it today! Do not do business here!

I first tried to return the truck the same day I rented it only to be faced with the office being locked and no cars in the parking lot at 3pm when the location's website said open until 4pm. I assumed that maybe they had changed their hours due to COVID19 which wasn't a big deal since I had until Monday to return the truck. I returned Monday afternoon to return the truck and agin doors were locked, luckily there was a maintenance man there to help us and he called the worker who was supposedly on duty all day on Saturday, she rushed over from her HOUSE to "help" us and tried to charge us far more than double the cost of the original rental. After she told us that we owed more money (I paid for the truck when I originally rented it) I said that there was no way. The employee proceeded to scream at us and tell us that she was there all day on Saturday and never saw us. ( The Maintenance man even said he saw us) She obviously was not doing her job and lied about it to screw us out of close to $200 to save her own ass. I will never again give even a single dollar to Budget or any of their affiliates. They are grossly unprofessional and do not care about their customers.

I needed to rent a 10' truck for a one way move out of state. I called Mini's a few days before I…read moreneeded the truck to see if I needed to reserve one. The person on the phone said that if I was there on the date I needed that I wouldn't have to reserve and that a 10' truck would be available. I made sure that he knew I wanted the 10'. He said yes. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told that the 10' trucks are just for local moves and not used for long distances. He then said I could get a 10' truck at another location but I would have to go online to put in the order. When I got to the next U-Haul place they didn't have a 10', even though I was told they did. So, the next step was driving further out. I went back to Mini's and ended up getting a 20' truck which of course was more money and gas. I later found out that 10' trucks are never available except for local moves. No one told me this when I was renting.

Then tell me I was responsible for keeping my unit locked. Like I was the one that removed my 2 locks. They claim to have emailed me to inform me but did NOT. I'm still waiting on proof of this. After filing a police report, I waited months for them to review the "state ot the art" security footage, only to be told "We couldn't possibly review a months footage to see if someone was in your unit". This happened in January 2023 and still no effort has been made by Lighthouse Storage to remedy the situation. Unless you want your belongings stolen, rent from someone else.

They've stuffed so many units into the back, you can hardly get a normal vehicle thru the maze of units built too close together. When you call and ask about it the woman has no information about when it will be fixed or why it hasn't been. They could not care less about their customers. As if the homeless people starting a fire and burning down a couple units wasn't enough... now you have to haul ur stuff from your unit all the way thru the maze of units to the back gate where you have to park your truck across the street.
