This review is for the staff that make it easy to transfer a unit over to someone else in your workflow. I've inherited a fair amount of storage units over the years and it can often be a headache when you live in a different state, including the need to transfer it over in person (what?!) Not this place! We were able to have our person on the ground arrange to transfer the unit over to me on the phone (quick phone call and it's always nice to speak to a friendly person) and then when I had to transfer it over to our new person on the ground it was quite seamless. As soon as I pulled up, I was greeted by staff and helpful information. Everyone was super helpful and made the whole process of transitioning the ownership of my storage unit nice and easy. The manager is friendly and polite enough, but, if you reserve online and don't answer or return her call, your online reservation will be cancelled. Ours was cancelled due to this, resulting in a 'change of rates' and we ended up paying an extra $35 a month. What are you to do? Your stuck there with a full Uhaul and nowhere to go, your pretty much forced into the higher rate. If you are planning on reserving a unit, their online prices are significantly lower than the in store rates. Don't get pressured into the 'reserve a unit now' selling techniques in the store, check out the online rates before reserving. Just make sure you return her call! The units are clean and well lit. The gates are secure and the grounds feel safe whenever I'm there. read more

DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM STOLEN!!!! I had a unit at this facility and my lock was cut off and several items were stolen. I was told by CJ and Nichol that there were several other units broken into that same night. There was very little attempt to contact me after it happened. One phone call asking me to call about my unit. I didn't call back right away. (My fault) so I didn't find out that it was broke into until 2mo later. I have proof this is a common occurrence here. The things I had stored there are not replaceable, one of a kind items. I trusted Extra Space to keep my things safe. They did not. read more

Management was rude and not very helpful. If not for the location, I would skip this place.

I would give this place a good review if it weren't for their shady sales tactics. They quoted me a price over the phone which I accepted. When I showed up with my moving truck and people to help me unload, the sales clerk, Roady, asked me the value of the contents of the unit and I estimated $5,000. He then informed me that all of their units must be insured and the cost would be an ADDITIONAL $25 PER MONTH. This is more than half the price I was quoted over the phone. When I objected that the representative failed to mention this fee when I reserved the unit, Roady explained that they are not allowed to mention this fee on the phone because their sole purpose is simply to reserve the unit. I would have left at that moment if I didn't have people helping me with the move. Instead, I elected to accept the lowest amount that they're "allowed" to insure a unit for ($2000) for an extra $10 a month, which is 25% more than they quoted me on the phone. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH tactic so just make sure you're aware of the extra fees before reserving. read more
