We had such an amazing time for this family adventure. We specifically chose a mild off-roading tour since we had two little ones and my mom who is an older. Everyone had such a great time. Carson was our tour guide and gave us some fun facts and made it fun for everyone. I love the fact that we had the hummer all to ourselves although it seats 12 and we were a party of 7. Check in process was super easy and your started and ended as advertised. The tour takes you on a mild off road path, gets you close to the red rocks and has one stop for a cool picture with a beautiful view. Scenery is strumming throughout the tour to get great pics and videos.

Hubby really wanted to do a jeep or rock clicking type of tour and I felt by doing this it gave him what he wanted and what I wanted with sign seeing. Came here and did the two hour special hummer tour at 2pm.. arrived early and checked in and it was smooth and easy. Was sent out side to wait for our name to be call and we got into our jeep and started the tour. Our driver was super cool and awesome and very knowledgeable. Super fun if looking to see nature at its best.

The tour was SO much fun! Shep was our driver and absolutely amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, and an experienced driver (which is needed on the roads we took). Be aware that you will be bounced around a ton and probably think you'll tip over in the jeep...but you're safe. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and there's so much history about the area to learn. We went on the 10:30am tour (just my husband and me), and it was great weather and not too crowded. We were given recommendations on where to go on Sedona after the tour, and we made the most of our afternoon via those recommendations even after the tour ended. Highly recommend!

My daughter and 2 grandkids came to visit me in Sun City AZ. We decided to spend a few days in Sedona. Always hearing about 'the other 'Jeep tour' outfit, we decided to go with the lesser commercial option and could not be more impressed. This outfit has been in business since the 1940's (the original) and used to do desert adventures on horseback. I will always support 'homegrown roots' whenever possible. Michael was our guide and he did a phenomenal job at accommodating my granddaughters fears. We had an amazing time.

We did the sunset hummer tour with Lenny. What an amazing driver full of stories and just plain fun. Our kids had a blast and the picture spots were amazing. Highly recommend.

My wife and kids just walked into Sedona Offroad Adventures this morning and had an amazing offroad Jeep tour today! We have been to Sedona a dozen times, but have never done one of the famous Jeep tours. We decided to take advantage of a Friday off and luckily there was availability that same morning. The staff is super friendly. There are a few different tour options, but we decided to take the Diamondback Gulch tour which is only available through this company. Pink Jeep Tours, the other big your company in town, has exclusive this of Broken Arrow trail, but my wife and I have already hiked that a few years ago. I'm really happy with the trail/tour we chose, because it was much more of an expedition of the whole area. All-in-all the tour was over 2 hours out on some extremely steep and rocky trails. Joe, our amazing tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna as well as many of the native tribes and their customs from when they used to inhabit theses lands. Besides his skill in navigating the impossible terrain, Joe took some amazing photos of my family that we'll cherish forever. Highly recommend doing a Jeep tour at least once. The Diamondback Gulch trail in particular is a great tour that is almost like a 2 hour roller-coaster ride. Almost the whole trail is rugged, Rocky and bouncy. Everyone was giggling and bouncing around the whole time. A few stops for bathroom breaks, photos and rest from the bouncing were perfect. For those of us who hike quite a bit and have seen all the majestic rock formation sites of Sedona from hiking trails, this was a great detour from those views to appreciate the history and surrounding desert.

My family had the best time on Our hummer adventure. We chose the cliffhanger tour. I could not imagine the hummer taking those rocks with such ease. Our guide Hunter gave us a great education of the history, ecosystem and life in the south west. Educational, fun and great memories for a lifetime.

We just had such an incredible time with Roy at Sedona Offroad adventures. I am so happy they were able to accommodated our last minute decision to do a tour. Not only was the tour beautiful and a blast, but we learned so much about Sedona, the geological history and science (animal and plant species) of the area. We brought our 4 and 7 year old children and they were able to both explain what they found most interesting about the tour. Now that I'm (hopefully a retired) homeschooling expert after the last 3 months J/k hands on learning/experiences really are so much better. This was so much more enjoyable than our failed attempt at hiking with tired, hungry and hot little kids.

We just got off the sunset tour and it was fabulous. Jake was our guide and he was amazing, he was born and raised in the area and appreciated the beauty as much as we did. The private tour was totally worth it. We were out for the sunset and it was amazing. I highly recommend, you take this tour to see the beautiful landscapes and experience Sedona's awesome out back.

My boyfriend and I walked by the office of Sedona offroad adventures on a whim and I would like to say that it was worth every penny! Our guide Greg was talking about the history of Sedona which we love learning about and I had a tough time deciding from taking pictures of the wonderful views or just focusing on his stories and knowledge. He made us fall in love with Sedona. Greg helped us in making our trip a great one! Thank you Greg and thank you Sedona offroad adventures.

My family and I booked the Jeep eater tour and we were not disappointed. Bobby was an outstanding guide and driver and made the trip enjoyable. We were able to see wild life in multiple areas and each time we would stop and learn something new. The Hummer we rode in was a fantastic experience. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because when we called to get info they told us one time, but when we called back to book they told us a different time. So we showed up thinking it was the most recent time they had told us and the tour was not leaving at that time. Other than the lack of a concrete start time this tour was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone (who can withstand a trail heavy ride).

Mom up front...kids in the back! Cliffhanger Trail was good for all of us!

Thank you for a fun off-road adventure that was suitable for our entire family. Roy was our guide and was informative & humorous! Thanks for squeezing us in at 3pm at a moment's notice. Recommended!

Our guide, Duke was a colorful character, very knowledgeable of the history, vegetation, animals and geology of the Sedona formations and trails. The hour and half ride flew by. I can check this off my Bucket list now!

We were picked up in a small luxury bus that seated 14 people. Our tour guide was Sheldon and he was absolutely wonderful! He had a cooler filled of water waiting for us on the bus too. Our first stop was Horseshoe Bend. It was so gorgeous there ! The hike to the bend is about 1.5 miles round trip and it's actually up-hill in both directions. It's not bad at all though. There's no shade so I wouldn't like doing it during the summer! It's also a sandy trail so wear appropriate shoes! Our next stop was Glen Canyon Dam. This is where we were given our boxed lunch. The view here was so pretty ! It was nice to sit in the grass and look over the dam during lunch. The boxed lunch was really good too ! It was a turkey sandwich on marbled rye bread, Poor Brothers kettle chips, macaroni or potato salad, and a chocolate chip cookie. Our final stop was Antelope Canyon. We were handed off to another tour company in Page run by the Navajo. We got into the back of their truck and were driven to the canyon. It was about 15 minutes from the tour company. Our guide was great, although I can't remember his name. The canyon itself is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life ! The Navajo guides space the tours out and keep them moving so it's not a clusterf*ck inside. They also take great pictures for you ! I noticed the guide was putting my iPhone on the "chrome" setting and adjusting the brightness. All pictures turned out great ! Make sure to put your phone down and enjoy this place though ! We had plenty of bathroom stops to and from this trip. We stopped at the Cameron Trading Post, so if you're looking for Navajo souvenirs, you're in luck ! I would also recommend bring breakfast or snacks too.

That is good because the light pollution is low and it also means the stargazing is probably far better than probably wherever you came from. So, for the "tour," you drive out to the middle of nowhere--to a school, actually--then you walk with your group and guides to a field where they have chairs, blankets, and a bunch of massive telescopes set up. The blankets help but dress warm. In fact, dress warmer than you think. With the wind, it was very cold out during our experience. Now, for stargazing purposes, it is definitely better if the moon is not full, and it is also better if it is not cloudy, but nature constantly reminds us who is in control. We had an almost full, extremely bright moon, and plenty of clouds. But we still had a great time checking out the various stars and planets and even the moon itself. If you are able to plan your tour, try to do it when the moon is at its darkest. The entire tour, if you want to call it that, lasts about an hour. It is not a thrill a minute experience but it is educational and, for those into astronomy, fascinating. This is definitely not for younger kids but mature teens might enjoy it. Plus, you almost certainly will see at least one falling star.
