Headed to Gopher Glen today and accidentally came across this cute place. Only open 2 months of the year for the fruit stand but April-Nov for weddings and special events. Such a charming place. The fruit barn is limited to honey apples pears and a few other assorted items. Also fresh cider. Would love to rent the place for a special event. Absolutely gorgeous

Hip Camp for 6 sites or a wedding venue or an artist retreat or an apple barn or a honey spot or a petting zoo? You can find it all here under the loving care of the Kenny family. Don't drive by in haste because the depth of peace is valuable here. Take a walk in the garden or through the orchard and treasure the season.

We were so blessed to be married at See Canyon Fruit Ranch last August. The journey to that day was fraught with challenges due to COVID-19 restrictions, however, Johnny Kenny and the wonderful team at SCFR worked with us every step of the way. When wedding receptions were banned and we knew we couldn't have our big celebration at See Canyon, we debated whether to scrap doing our ceremony there too. We are so thankful we didn't. See Canyon is an ethereal, serene place that spoke to my husband and me the moment we set foot on the grounds. It feels a little like Hawaii but also like the Eastern Sierra and very much like San Luis County. Being married under that stunning arch was a dream come true and our guests were blown away by the beautiful, lush setting. I will always treasure looking out from where I stood during the ceremony at our small collection of loved ones, beneath the cathedral of trees that encircle the property. We are so grateful Johnny and the Kennys were willing to work with us and come to a compromise on pricing and services when we ultimately decided to hold a small post-ceremony gathering at a private residence instead of at See Canyon. This venue has a decades-long, stellar reputation in SLO County and we did not want to risk tarnishing that by having a disallowed event. Thank goodness the First Amendment protects wedding ceremonies! If you are on the fence about having a wedding during COVID-19 but love the idea of being married at See Canyon, please at least have a conversation with Johnny and the Kennys about what is possible. If you move forward with booking SCFR, I know you have a gorgeous wedding ceremony and a fantastic experience. Thank you to the Kennys for making our dream day a reality.

Though no apples or cider were in season you can wander the property, purchase eggs and honey thanks to the bees on the property. The property hosts wedding receptions, campers looking to rough it and and classical music concerts. I will be back in the fall when the apples and cider are ready.

There is one reason to come here.. Check out the picture. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/qJ6arYhEWNBD4s9vKao95Q?select=cEzmp2FcUIOn9YvmxmjljA I've been here a few years now and It's worth stopping for the photo opportunities. The apples, are a mixed bag. This year they really didn't have any selection like the previous seasons. They said they were sold out. They also do not accept Credit Cards. Dejected, I was about to leave the area without any apples but continued on down the road to gopher glen. Perhaps GG has a larger orchard but they had about ten different varieties, all in stock.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of holding our wedding and reception at See Canyon. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and Susie's team was great at making sure everything transitioned smoothly between wedding and reception. We received many compliments on the choice of venue, and looking back, we don't think we could have made a better choice. My only advice is that you make sure to ask a lot of questions and read the contract carefully as there are certain quirks about what you can and can't do with the venue--umbrellas must have open bases so they don't kill the grass, the whole event must be under five hours, etc. It's understandable considering that Paul and Susie earn a living off the grounds, but you don't want to get surprised with something on the day of your event.

My husband and I were wanting a forest themed wedding without having to leave our beautiful SLO county and we hit the jackpot with See Canyon. I was beyond happy with the service of the venue, the well kept grounds, and all the personalized accommodations. We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful and unique our wedding was right down to the amazing weather (we got married the end of March, and with all the rain people were worried about an outdoor event, but it was 70 and sunny). I'd definitely recommend this location to anyone for their wedding. As for their cider and apple tasting, my mom and I visited last autumn and enjoyed the positivity, good pricing, and tasty food. I love this little gem of a place-- Thank you See Canyon Fruit Ranch!!

We chose See Canyon Fruit Ranch to be our wedding ceremony and reception site for a summer wedding. There is one wedding/event booked per weekend, so we had the use of the space from the Friday prior for set-up and drop-off of supplies and the rehearsal to Sunday. The venue is in a woodsy area (and among other neighboring fruit farms) with a creek running through it, which means there was the potential for summer bugs, but the Kennys take measures to eradicate them prior to every booked event (i.e. they spray). Rental includes round tables and chairs and a seamless transition from ceremony to reception using the same garden space. It was magical.

Such a fun experience at Santa Margarita Ranch Ziplining! The adventure honestly starts the minute…read moreyou arrive. You check in at the main office downtown, then hop on a tour bus to the ranch property. Our driver was super informative and entertaining along the way. The drive itself felt like part of the experience with bumpy ranch roads, multiple gates, gorgeous scenery, and a real behind the scenes feel of the property. Once you arrive, the staff gets you geared up with all the safety equipment and everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and great with all ages. After gearing up, you take an old Army style jeep up the mountain and that ride alone was an adventure Super rickety, steep, and fun! We felt very safe the entire time because before every single zip line, the staff carefully checked everyone's safety gear and connections. There are 6 zip lines total and each one is different with spectacular views that change throughout the course. One thing to know is that you should be in reasonably good shape because there are mini hikes between some of the zip lines. There are lots of water stations along the course, which was great, but the experience is definitely active and you do not want to hold up the group. Totally worth it though and such a memorable Central Coast adventure for families, couples, teens, and adventurous kids!

Incredibly awesome escape room setup did Rita's. Would do it again recommed it to everyone.read more
