My wife and I stopped by this brewery and I am so glad we did. This is a really great place. Even though we are not local, it has become a hangout. It has a really nice local feel to it with many friendly regulars. We tried the beers and was very impressed, especially with the Pilsners, IPAs and Märzen. My friends and I stopped by to try out their weekly bingo night, and I'm so glad we did! I saw a lot of reviews talking about the owners and how kind they were- that was not overstated. The owners and their son were so fun and nice, tossing candy around at random points during bingo, letting the kids in the crowd play and help... it created such a welcoming vibe. Truly felt like a neighborhood bar, where everyone knows everyone and has a community. Add to all that the fact that the beer was good, and it makes for a place I'm excited to come back to! read more

First-time visit last Thursday and so happy we went! We've been meaning to come in for awhile now, after one of my fiancé's coworkers used to work there and recommended it. We live near the lake so just a brisk 20ish minute walk over (FYI parking is a bit limited so recommend walking). It was around 3pm on a weekday so a weird time, but there was a handful of folks inside all who immediately greeted us and our dog. We learned later they didn't even work there, just kind regulars!! Everyone was great to chat with; even one of the brewmasters (maybe he was the owner?) stopped by to give our pup some treats. The beer selection was great and always love some free popcorn to snack on. There are also other bar-ish food available like pizza. There are a couple of TV's around, otherwise a decent amount of seating both inside and out for a small brewery. Highly recommend you stop by! read more

Seedstock is the closest brewery to me. It's a 15 minute walk from my house. And over the last year, I've sampled many great brews from their cozy taproom. Seedstock sticks to their guns by making the beers they want to make. They don't confine to social norms or what's popular or what they'll know will sell. And for a hophead like me, who secretly wishes they had more IPA's on tap, I have total respect for their approach to classic brewing styles. I feel like I'm introduced to a new style of beer every time I go to Seedstock. Though I've picked up some crowlers during quarantine, I beered in last weekend. They have a nice patio and are dog friendly! Czech Lager and Gratzer? Yes, these are true to form and extremely delicious sippers. Seedstock's a brewer's brewery. I wasn't expecting much from a place that has European beers as its thing. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of beers. I ordered a flight of four and I enjoyed each one. I have been coming here off and on for a few years to play their Tuesday night trivia. Since moving away I returned the other night and it's still the same great place I know and love. There's outdoor seating, delicious beers on tap, friendly staff, free popcorn, and a spacious but intimate patio. I always appreciate a good German Brewery, and with powerhouses like Biersdat in town, this place can get overlooked, but it shouldn't! When one of my favorite styles are on tap, a Dusseldorf Altbier, I will always be happy having a pint. Altbier is a German styled amber lager and is perfect for this weather. Otherwise chill with a classic Czech Styled Pilsner. Any beer lover will be able to find something they like here! This was one of my favorite breweries that I visited when I was in Denver several months ago. I went to Seedstock towards the end of my trip and managed to squeeze in a few breweries before flying out back home to Seattle. I only had one of Seedstock's beers and I was highly impressed with what I ordered on my final night in town. It was a bit chilly outside and getting a dark beer sounded great. So I went with their Vanilla Espresso Stout which proved to be a wonderful beer. The vanilla had just enough presence to the beer where it was noticeable and a compliment to the rest of the beer yet not too overwhelming either. I have had vanilla stouts in the past where the vanilla is virtually unnoticeable or it completely dominates the rest of the beer but the structure of this beer was just perfect. I would love to make a return trip to Seedstock, not only to try some of their other beers but to get another one of their awesome Vanilla Espresso Stouts too! read more

We've stopped by seedstock on a coupe of occasions but our most recent stop was thanks in part of the Passport. The free popcorn was an added plus to a pretty dreary day. The Kolsch is pretty average (not my fave) but hubs was a fan of the IPA. The patio is dog friendly but beware when parking as you might find yourself trekking up to Colfax if it's a busy day. The atmosphere is okay, but i agree with another comment about the bluegrass/country music vibe. A change of pace from other breweries playlists would be great! read more

This spot is located down the street from where I live. Although not the best of neighborhoods, this year-old brewery is a great spot! My go-to is the Kolsch. Two new taps were added this week: a tasty Vienna lager and a rye. Nick was our bartender and took great care of us! We would come back just to chat it up with him again. Great brewery right on Colfax with a neighborhood feel. The staff is super friendly, you can get pours in multiple sizes (5, 10, and 16 oz) and they have complementary popcorn which was delicious! They frequently have food trucks in case you need a snack. They have live music on Fridays which is fun, and because it's summer they had their big garage doors open to the outside. Sure there are a few on federal or Sheridan, but to be a true neighborhood joint walking Distance is essential and this place one of the few good locations left. They focus on German styles and do them all well, the taproom is your typical bar stools and tables with garage door leading to a small patio. They have the essential popcorn machine and games to go around, but what puts them up on the list is the music. Not only will the jukebox have better than average times being cranked out during the week, but they also have some music on the weekends to mix things up, usually bluegrass. I came early one afternoon before they opened and had a wonderful convention with Ryan (the brother that brews the beer) and after he gave me a few drinks I pulled out my credit card to pay for the excellent beer I just eagerly consumed and he refused my payment. Great German styled beers. We walked down Colfax through the neighborhood which was a little sketchy as noted by 2 of Denver's finest having casual conversation with someone-but we had no issues. We walked a distance and I thought we had missed it but my thirst got the better of me and just in the nick of time around the corner, after the green garage door. The Seedstock yellow brewery (W Colfax/Lowell). We had the Vanilla Stout and Czech Lager - both were tasty and refreshing. A food truck was outside and the band was packing up their gear but still had about dozen people there on a Sunday afternoon. They have board games along with their tasty beers, popcorn maker by the door and a nice sized patio space. I dig the space, I dig the location, I dig the staff. The beer was like a 3.5 star experience, but I thought they had an awesome range. I tried anything along the pale/ipa spectrum, with a sample of a smoked sour that was just so odd and blew my mind. But I'm excited to go back to try the rest of the things.
