How was this not on? Everybody's list for best breweries in Denver. Their Czechoslovakian style beers are amazing. I also like that. They have branched out in recent years. The staff is consistently friendly. The patio is Baller, and the beers are amazing.

Convert a garage into a beautiful brewery on gentrified West Colfax and you deserve 5 stars. Add friendly service, great music, good beer, and you're above and beyond any local business. Seedstock is the tip of the commercial spear, wrestling W. Colfax away from the homeless, the criminal, the degenerate, and the mentally ill populations that have invaded Denver. They offer a welcoming oasis for the growing neighborhood of young professionals and their families. Bravo!!

Chill brewery. They have a popcorn machine which you can help yourself to by the front. Oddly there were a lot of flies inside when we went. Was excited to try their white stout but wasn't blown away. We ordered another beer, don't remember which one it was, but I didn't love it.

Having some gold medal winning Marzen today. First time here but had to come try. They are proudly displaying their new hardware. There are a few spots to park in their lot and then street parking. Nice vibe and welcoming staff. Lots of German styles. The Marzen is delicious.

Seedstock is the closest brewery to me. It's a 15 minute walk from my house. And over the last year, I've sampled many great brews from their cozy taproom. Seedstock sticks to their guns by making the beers they want to make. They don't confine to social norms or what's popular or what they'll know will sell. And for a hophead like me, who secretly wishes they had more IPA's on tap, I have total respect for their approach to classic brewing styles. I feel like I'm introduced to a new style of beer every time I go to Seedstock. Though I've picked up some crowlers during quarantine, I beered in last weekend. They have a nice patio and are dog friendly! Czech Lager and Gratzer? Yes, these are true to form and extremely delicious sippers. Seedstock's a brewer's brewery. And I'm glad they're in walking distance.

I wasn't expecting much from a place that has European beers as its thing. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of beers. I ordered a flight of four and I enjoyed each one. Great vibe in the taproom, quick and friendly service too. Oh and the best part is the popcorn. I love popcorn and good beer and this is the place to get it. Only downer is that they had no stickers but that's not enough to knock off a star.

Jerry the owner is the best. They do bingo on Wednesdays and it's worth going to for a nice mid week beer!

Eastern European styled craft beers and super laid back taproom of West Colfax. Seedstock focuses on German & Czech style beers, and they do them right! I always appreciate a good German Brewery, and with powerhouses like Biersdat in town, this place can get overlooked, but it shouldn't! When one of my favorite styles are on tap, a Dusseldorf Altbier, I will always be happy having a pint. Altbier is a German styled amber lager and is perfect for this weather. Otherwise chill with a classic Czech Styled Pilsner. Any beer lover will be able to find something they like here! Connected to a coffee shop that shares a nice outdoor patio, this place is good on warm and cold days!

Highly recommend! We had a great time at Seedstock Brewery. Thank you to the owner Adam for such a fun space. Blue Grass live music Sundays 5-7pm was a highlight. We had the No Coast IPA and Oktoberfest. Delicious beer, fun atmosphere, dog friendly and kid friendly. Free cold water and indoor and outdoor seating. Great TVs to enjoy the game. Would highly recommend.

Ask the Community - Seedstock Brewery

I am looking for a place that plays Bluegrass, live or recorded. Don't give a spit about booze. Does Seedstock have bluegrass music?

Hi Susan - Yes we do! Seedstock has a live bluegrass jam every Sunday night (5-7pm), play/sing along…

Great beer garden. Lots of outdoor seating. It was very busy when I visited on a Friday evening,…read morebut it didn't feel overly crowded. The staff kindly gave multiple reminders before closing. The Japanese rice lager (forgot the name) was amazing. So good, in fact, that they ran out on this particular evening. As posted throughout the bar, they have instituted a mandatory 18% service fee in lieu of tips. For better or worse, be aware of this. It means you don't need to tip. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't have a negative impact on the service from the bartenders.

A great option for young families on a warmer day…read more I stopped by Edgewater Beer Garden with some friends with the intention of enjoying a seemingly warmer Denver winter day, and we had no trouble finding seating on the patio. Maybe we were just brave, but with blankets and the outdoor heaters the space served well for a small get together. The inside, however, was PACKED. Was it something in the air that influenced every young family West of Denver to crave local brews and fried food options? Or is this just the typical crowd for this establishment? Either way, I don't believe myself to be the target market for this location. After a few hours, the children's birthday party and other large family gatherings occupying the warm interiors finally disappeared, and we were able to enjoy all the splendors of their heated former firehouse. The staff who was wandering the facilities to take empty trays and glasses from tables were exceptionally nice, the food options were as plentiful as the variety on tap, and the patio's ambience was exactly what we needed. Ticked all the boxes you'd expect of a suburban beer hall. Overall, not really my scene, as I don't have a golden doodle or a curious toddler, but if that sounds like an apt description for the company you keep, you'll enjoy this spot immensely.

There are moments when human beings believe they are on a quest for higher knowledge. And then…read morethere are moments when they are just heavy objects being pulled toward the earth by gravity, wanting nothing more than a chair, a cooked piece of dough, and a cold glass of beer to dull the edges of the evening. The remarkable thing is that the second quest often yields the greater joy. Five of us, all varying degrees of exhausted from a long day of sightseeing, stumbled into Odell Brewing's Sloan's Lake Brewhouse at the corner of 17th and Perry. We were not looking for a miracle. We were looking for a soft place to land. We ordered our dinner, then ventured up to the rooftop patio, which looks out over the lake. I'm told that when the entire surrounding landscape isn't engulfed in flames that you can clearly see the jagged spine of the Rocky Mountains from up there. It is a very fine place to sit while the planet rotates away from the sun. They have a second bar up there that is just as well stocked as the one on the main floor, and the space was filled with the pleasant, low-grade hum of people who were glad to be alive and not currently looking at a screen. The kitchen turns out scratch-made pizzas, so we ordered a Margherita and a Garden Harvest. You must understand something about the five of us: we come from Central and Northern New Jersey. In our part of the world, opinions about pizza are not casual preferences; they are inherited like family heirlooms or chronic joint pain. To say that a group of Jersey natives found these pizzas to be genuinely good is a small miracle of regional diplomacy. They weren't trying to imitate a New York slice. They were just honest, well-baked pies with fresh ingredients, which is an honorable thing for a pizza to be. Then there was the beer. According to their website, this location houses a 10-barrel pilot system where they brew experimental, small-batch R&D beers you can't get anywhere else. I believe them. The fruited sour we sampled was bright and lively, the sort of beer that makes you wonder why so many other breweries get the style completely wrong. The porter was equally memorable, rich, dark, and smooth, with deep roasted notes that made it far too easy to drink. It was a beautiful piece of liquid craftsmanship. The staff was fast and entirely devoid of the plastic, rehearsed cheer you so often find in corporate franchises. They brought things out before we had time to grow cranky, and they seemed genuinely glad we had wandered into their corner of Denver. We had expected a purely transactional exchange of money for calories before going to sleep. Instead, we got a rooftop at dusk, exceptional beer, and the sudden, sweet realization that the day had ended exactly as it should. People are strange, fragile creatures, but occasionally we stumble into the right table at the right time.
