Great location for this family-favorite-brand! Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a young gal who offered to give us samples while we browsed the candy counter and shelves. She was patient with us while we decided which goodies to get and served us with a smile. There was an older lady employee who did remind us that samples were limited to 1 per customer...HHMM....since when? We've been coming to See's for over 20+ years so unless this policy is new, we were a bit surprised by her comment. It's not like we asked for 10 samples, we asked for 3. This place was packed 3 days before Valentine's Day! So if you are tryna get candies for a holiday, I would recommend going early or being prepared to wait in a line. They only had capacity for maybe 6-8 people. The store is small so they are making sure to take all Covid precautions. They had delicious options and the staff was being so nice and recommended extra flavors. See's Candies is a staple and I'm so happy that they have stayed open during Covid. read more

LOVED IT! We went with a big group of disabled individuals, (we had wheel chairs and lots of different personalities) and the staff were SO accommodating and kind. They made sure everyone got a sample, and catered to the individuals with allergies. The store is very wheel chair friendly, the only struggle was the ramp to get onto the side walk is right in front of a parking spot...so we had to wait for the car parked there to move there vehicle in order to get our wheel chairs onto the parking lot and to our vehicles. read more

Horrible service! Just left the Sees. Came from california for a day. Thought about a gift we could get for our son who we will not see for two years. A gift that would remind him of home on Christmas. We went to the counter and noticed they were pretty sparse in terms of what they had available. A man came out of the back and gave horrible service. He was rude and very impolite. I asked if I could sample another piece of chocolate other than the one he put out for me. He rolled his eyes as if annoyed. I asked for a Beverly he tossed it on the counter. At that point I lost any desire to purchase anything from this Sees. My husband and I said, "we'll find another sees thank you." As we walked away he said, "good luck" and continued on but we dismissed him. He then yelled, "yeah I know you!!! You have been here before!!!" I have no idea who this man is we do not live here and all I know is "kindness definitely does not begin with him!!" Horrible!!!! They do chocolate here - oh Lord, yes they do...it's a version of heaven on earth. The women who work here are always happy. Is it any wonder? From the individual chocolates that you can just pop in your mouth, one at a time (or...4 at a time, sometimes), to the Cafe au Lait suckers that I've been addicted to since the beginning of time, to the nut-covered toffee that no one does as well as See's, to ... really anything else you find in this store. It's not cheap. But then again, it's not Knipschildt, nor even Z Chocolat. So, for locally made, historically fantastic chocolate, see See's. Is there any chocolate better than See's candies in the USA? I mean, yeah, Switzerland has got 'em beat, but other than that, they're 100%. I love that when I get here, they always give me a free sample. The owner's of Costco and See's Candies must have gotten together to discuss how giving samples will make their customers spend inordinate amounts of money at their respective establishments. I love the samples, and I LOVE the scotchmallows! I've never had a better treat than that. Plus, they started selling them in prepackaged bags. They've really facilitated my addiction. If you have not tried the buttermilk candies, you literally do not know what life is. THESE THINGS ARE TO DIE FOR. Mother nature I almost had a heart attack the first time I had some. The nice lady always gives us a pretty good sample, I have to say I hate the ones with nuts but I'm biased because nuts = the devil. But I love the arrangement of candies in this store, it's super bright in there and lined with every flavor of candy you can imagine. Secret: the See's lollipops are actually really good. So don't hesitate to get some. A bonus about this place is you really can buy like 4 candies and get a good price for it (since you get a free one too). Ah I love the childhood memories here. My wife went in today to buy a little candy for me. No orange creams, no scotchmallow bars, no scotch kisses. If it had been me I would have left without buying anything. My wife not wanting to come home empty handed bought a few things she thought I would like. This is the store where they always try and stuff the boxes full to get more money out of you. To make matters worse they gave her a sample of dark chocolate which neither of us like. Be for warned if you shop here there is a very good chance they will not have what you like. read more

See's Candy is known for quality product and great experiences. I have purchased each Christmas anywhere from $250 to $800 worth of product each Christmas for the last 10 years. This year when I went in to purchase I was told that if I wanted a discount to either order on line or go to Costco. I explained I had limited time and could not do either nor did I have a Costco Membership. I asked if I could still get a break for volume and was told no but I could if I drove to Salt Lake or ordered on line?? This breaks a ten year tradition of giving See's to customers as I chose to go elsewhere because of the inability of the store to meet our needs. Sorry. read more

I can't think of many people who wouldn't like a candy shop like See's. I'm a fan of their square suckers (chocolate, butterscotch, and café latte) and always buy a few when walking by. Never do I turn away the free samples they throw my way though. They have great variety and some very fun flavors. For example,try their Apricot Delight - a creamy, tart apricot filling covered in white chocolate and rolled in toasted coconut. This is the best candy!! I love it. I have gone to get chocolate for my husband sometimes, but most of the time I go for myself. The staff are always polite and helpful. The chocolates are amazing. My favorite is the rum nugat(not made with real rum, of course). The chocolates are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's not cheap wax Hershey's chocolate. This is good quality chocolate and you can taste it. The suckers are good as well. Basically I like everything. I really recommend See's. read more
