See's makes incredible candies. The quality of their chocolate is unmatched IMO, and the stores are so clean and comfortable! At this location in particular, every single employee I've ever interacted with has been one of the most delightful (and positive) humans. I recommend this See's Candies to anyone who loves chocolate and I will continue to give them my business. Because they're awesome.

It was time for a candy run and see's was out stop. See the photos below for the different flavors we picked up. The candy is so good. Perfect flavor. Most importantly they are so hospitable and helpful. If you haven't been to this store go NOW!!!!! Be adventurous and try different flavors you won't regret it. All the candy is made daily and fresh.

I remember the old See's Candy shop in the Vancouver Mall, you know, back before COVID. It seemed that no matter how empty the mall was, See's Candy always had a line, maybe it was the free samples? The Vancouver Mall took a hit during COVID and one of the casualties was See's Candy. The See's shop left the mall and relocated about a year ago into a shopping center that shares the same parking lot as Trader Joe's, just off Chkalov Drive. Funny thing, there's still a line at See's. Maybe it's the quality product, maybe it's the friendly and helpful staff, or maybe it's the clean, nice smelling shop, either way the new location seems to be as busy as the mall shop ever was. So bring an appetite for chocolate and shop early, especially on holidays.

Not the friendliest customers or customer "service" customers making comments and same with staff, customer argued that I "stole" her parking spot. I was not issued or asked if I or my assistance wanted a sample, and when we asked if we could get one and a few more as we were intending to purchase a pound staff said "what do you mean? You can't try everything" although we were certainly not going to try the table as we would get full and not purchase the pound. She then called someone over, to see whether or not we could have one, and after she was told it was fine she asked if we had ever received a sample initially, we replied no and she said well then we can when I asked to try the apple pie as she walked off to retrieve gloves she made a remark about how the "apple pie is going to taste exactly like apple pie." The reason why I chose what I chose is because I am not an apple pie nor a white chocolate person but who wants or is required to explain themselves when they want to try a couple pieces before they purchase $30 chocolate? We were both extremely put off by both encounters and ended up just going with 3 milk chocolates. Although chocolate fairs pretty tasty.

Brought back such nostaligia to a store similar to this we used to go to as kids. So of course we had to go in & of course we had to get stuff. Thought my bf & I were going to share one bag, nope silly me, we both ended up with our own. Was feeling the sour candies, so I went with a a lot belts & sour gummies & balanced it off with chocolates. Both our bags ended up being pretty heavy, so much so that we qualified for the free rock candy. They also have a point system, where you get so many points & you'll get $5 off your next purchase. Sounds dangerous if you ask me. The workers there were really friendly. Will definitely be back.

Plus, you can always ask the staff to pop your bag on the scale if you want to check your total as you go. Is it a bit of a splurge? Sure. But you're paying for the convenience of snacking while you shop or grabbing a "bulk candy salad" of your favorite gummies before heading into the movie theater next door. The selection is a decent size, and while the open air environment means a few pieces are on the firmer side, it's still a blast to browse. With friendly service, fun trinkets, and occasional giveaways, this is a spot I'll definitely keep frequenting!

When she finally decided to assist us, her attitude was condescending and rude. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that I felt racially profiled when I simply asked how much a slice of strawberry shortcake cost. After telling me the price, she immediately questioned whether I could afford it or if I still wanted it, which I found insulting and inappropriate. To make matters worse, the slice of cake was not worth the $9 price tag. Between the poor service, disrespectful treatment, and disappointing product, I have no intention of returning. There are plenty of bakeries that treat their customers with courtesy and respect--this is not one of them.

The portions of everything are very generous. Sandwiches and avocado toast are definitely enough to share or take home for a second meal. We shared a lemon crepe which had what tasted like house made lemon curd inside of it. It was dusted with powdered sugar and created a delicious flavor. Crepe was perfectly prepared. I ordered the avocado toast which was twice the size of what I expected and could eat, so it made a very nice lunch later. The avocado is a spread as opposed to sliced; although I prefer sliced, this was actually pretty tasty. This also came with a fried egg on both of the pieces of toast and thinly sliced radishes, flat leaf parsley, sesame seed, and a generous amount of pickled red onion which I adore. The bread is a lovely European multigrain. Underneath the toast, I found a beautiful fresh green salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and tomatoes, and all in all this was the perfect dish. My dining companion chose the turkey sandwich, and this two was a very large sandwich. It looked really great and had a lot of turkey on it, so much that it looked like fresh turkey as opposed to a deli meat, but I'm really not sure. For some reason, she didn't especially care for her sandwich; may have been a little too much pesto on it for her likes, but I thought it looked wonderful and also came with a salad. I had a drip coffee, for which I was told I could get refills for free, and my companion had a latte. Both were very good. I would like to come back sometime and purchase some of their desserts as they all looked absolutely amazing.

Popcorn Cove is a popcorn, candy, and soda shop with a huge variety of each. Flavors of popcorn are wide, ranging from common (butter) to adventurous. They don't skimp on the flavors, so if you get, for example, cheddar popcorn, there is a LOT of cheddar cheese powder bountifully applied. The flavors are intense and great! You can get small individual bags, or tins of all sizes. Their candy selection is mightily impressive, ranging from vintage classics to modern and quirky oddities (gummy stapler, anybody?). Their soda selection is also huge, and equally quirky. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and prompt. Why not five stars, then? The location is pretty terrible. It is in a tiny strip mall in the same shopping center as a Home Depot, and its parking lot is TINY. It is so small that there are literally one-way signs to prevent vehicles from blocking the path (the lanes are only wide enough for one vehicle to fit through). This same strip mall has a Starbucks, and there are generally LOTS of cars backed up at the drive-through, all the way to the entrance of the strip mall, and blocking the main street. If you go, I'd recommend doing so AFTER Starbucks is closed to save yourself a LOT of headache.

And I probably left ~$10 savings on the table by buying the brands I preferred. The store is never a mess and the people working here are consistently good. It feels like a "we're in this together" kind of environment where we want to buy groceries and the workers seem to want to facilitate that, and then everyone goes on with their lives. I can say for 100% certain that this is the least financially predatory supermarket I know of. Produce is the biggest example. When stuff is in season, you can tell they buy a ton of it and try to turn it over fast and cheap. Very good quality limes were $0.25 today. I don't even think bubble gum machines cost that much anymore. But I also worked in retail and can tell they do the same with dry goods as well. They look for good deals like we do, and instead of using some complex algorithm that gets their CEO an extra million, they just make sure they're making enough money, and if they are, they often give people the opportunity to buy stuff cheap.
