First time here. What a variety of desserts. Everything you can imagine and it all looked delicious. Service was good and fast. We ordered a Cortado, Hot Chocolate and a Meringue. First time visit, spent nearly $100 on pastries. Worth it. Very pricy place, but nothing we bought was less than great. Better than the Vegas restaurants for many similar items, and still not as expensive. The best macarons you will find anywhere in your life. Gorgeous cakes. I've been to Sweet Touch a couple of times and honestly, I'm just amazed by how much they have to offer here. They have tons of drinks, pastries, and a little grocery store attached next door. There's like infinite things to try! I wish there were more explanations/signs of what everything was, but they honestly just all look appetizing. Gorgeous bakery here. Lots of cakes and pastry options. They even have crepes and savory items too. Connected to this cafe/bakery is a grocery store as well. I got the beef pelmeni which was flavorful and delicious. It was topped with some butter, fresh dill and a side of sour cream. I also got the honey cake, which was good. Not too sweet. Food came out quickly, staff were friendly. There's decent parking here, and definitely a place to get dessert! So many options! read more

I usually stop when I see a European bakery as it's almost always a positive experience. No different here. The staff is very friendly. The Vinaigrette Salad was good, the Pelmeni with beef was excellent. However, it took quite sometime for the latter. The Olivier was a new experience: creative, delicious, and aesthetically presented. The Napoleon cake tastes as good as it looks. And the Almond Honey Cake and Baklava were both very good. Whatever this culture is they're not big on condiments. Prices are more than fair. The environment is very pleasant. read more

This review is based on takeout only. Stopped in for a couple of treats after having lunch nearby. This bakery is located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking available. Love the modern and cozy atmosphere inside. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only wish they had more signs on their desserts explaining what they were. There are so many delicious looking desserts, but it is too difficult to pick for anyone with specific food allergies. We look forward to coming back and trying their food offerings. always thoroughly enjoy coming into this bakery/coffee shop, I have never had one bad dessert from this shop. They also make pastries filled with different meats which I have not yet tried but looking at the pastries under glass they look amazing! I do have a con about this place. I have been living in the area eight years now and have been coming into the shop for about that long now. The one thing that I don't like it most of the time I come in here the ladies behind the counter never smile or don't make me feel welcomed to come into the shop. Last night (Friday September 14) was the worst feeling I have ever had in there. There were three ladies there and one young man, at one point I looked up toward the glass case where then espresso machine as at and two of the ladies were just staring at me and the faces were NOT welcoming at all! The young man was very nice and helpful and thanked us for coming in. These ladies need to understand that they are being watched and it doesn't take much just to put on a smile and make someone feel welcomed. Really enjoyed the Peach Cookies! Nice and soft texture and full of delicious filling. They got an array of other pastries and food to choose from as well. OUTRAGEOUS! Walked into this place and was met with complete silence. No greeting, no acknowledgement. Ordered food, still no interaction. An hour and a half before closing, they suddenly found their voice to tell us we couldn't sit and eat to please leave. We apologized and quickly left as we were under the assumption the seating area is closed due to them closing in an hour and a half. A friend introduced me to this place and was shocked I had never been here. It really is this incredible hidden gem in Vancouver. It wasn't just the sweets, the coffee was delicious as well. We tried a little bit of everything because I could not stop myself and then took the rest home. The little mushroom cookies were well received from my staff. After coming across this bakery on yelp I decided to give it a try because it is so close by to my house. Of course due to there being so many different choices to choose from we had to get a little bit of everything. It was a little odd that majority of the pastries didn't have labels on them as to what they were. I felt a little uncomfortable asking what every single item was on each shelf so I decided to just order what looked familiar to me. Prices are bit high but the portions are large. I got: Snickers: it's basically layers of cake, pavlova, and cream. Meant to mimic a snickers candy bar. It didn't quite taste like snickers but had the chocolatey caramel flavors in it. Napoleon: soggy puff pastry layers, but good flavor. Strawberry shortcake: shortcake with somewhat of a cornmeal type texture. It was a little dry. The cream filling was whipped cream and berries. Tiramisu: seems like it was previously frozen because the cream layers were a little icy still. Flavor was good. Lots of coffee taste in the soaked lady fingers. Macarons: stale and old. Small in size and filling. Baklava: crunchy puffy pastry but a little too sweet for my liking. Majority of the desserts were a miss. I feel like maybe they don't sell out at the end of the day and end up just keeping it in the case for the next day? When we went around 5 pm the cases were pretty much full. I've been coming here for rum balls and salmon bread for 6 or 7 years now. The people are always friendly, but like another review said the quality has gone down hill. The salmon bread and Georgian cheese bread (khachapuri) I got today we're quite tough. Couldn't tell if they were over baked or stale, but the cheese on top the khachapuri was so dry it was plastic feeling on top. The salmon bread was similar and had larger chunks of salmon throughout where before I the salmon was a bit smaller and spread throughout. It wasn't bad, just wasn't what I remember it being. Super busy on Saturday and Sunday with folx dining in. Glad they're doing well, beautiful desserts and breads, but the staleness/dryness was off putting. read more

Wow, we have been on a roll with finding some great local places near our new digs in the Couve! So glad to find a quality "fancier" bakery (but not stuffy or pretentious!) nearby AND the have lots of seating & tables inside if you want to lounge about and enjoy your coffee and/or treats there...AND they are open late! Because the craving for a delectable fancy dessert often strikes me well after the hour that other bakeries are closed and, while I do love to bake, by that time I am not going to be whipping up something myself, either. They have a dizzying array of baked goods from elaborate cakes & desserts to cookies and even a couple savory baked items. Most of their items had signs on them w/prices, but a few did not & the young lady working was happy to answer our questions about what the unmarked delights were. Their prices were pretty good compared to other fancy-pants bakeries (places with more than just the basics). We tried 2 different desserts (sorry, I don't recall their names), both were scrumptious & their coffee was very good, too. They are located next to & connected to the Svitoch deli/market, so mosey over next door & check out their goods, too. (I'll review them later once we have tried the items we purchased there.) You might only notice the Svitoch sign out front as the bakery portion currently just has a printed sign hanging up. We've only been here once so far, but if their quality & service is consistent upon subsequent visits, they just might get an upgrade to 5-star status from me down the line. read more

I wish I can rate a 3 1/2 the food is good but the service is lacking. I understand busy days just some of the service can be a bit rude. I came a couple of times just to make sure I wasn't being a bias from one experience but majority of the time the service wasn't its best. Other than that the food is delicious because I always get the pelmini, tiramisu very light and not too bitter or sweet, cheese cake is super creamy with no cracks, and the macaroons are soo yummy. We always love going here and trying new desserts. Love love love doing mom and daughter dates here. Every time we come here, the staff is always very kind! The cafe is always spotless and clean! We have yet to try any of their drinks but that will have to be next time! We tried one of their sandwich pastries, Im not gonna lie I was disappointed when they microwaved it. I get lots of restaurants do that. And I hope that places start switching to using an air-frier!
