A great park to spend the day at. The trails are beginner level and have good walkways. The dirt is mostly compact so even on a rainy or wet day there aren't too many puddles or muddy spots. It's a clean and well taken care of area. read more

Huge and well maintained park with a lot of parking available. The playground is very nice and my kids enjoyed playing here. There are restrooms available and areas for several sports (tennis, soccer, basketball, etc). There is definitely something for everyone here to enjoy the day! read more

Nice little park to walk around. I don't live in the area but came into the area to drop off a birthday gift to a friend who lives nearby and I've really been needing to get out in nature and get back to moving my body as I had gotten lazy. I did 20 minutes on my exercise bike before I left the house but felt I needed a really good walk somewhere outdoors too so I came here and it was a decent enough place to get in a good 25-30 minutes of walking time. This park is definitely catered more to families as there were lots of kids playing a variety of sports or having fun with friends in the play area so if you have children or just looking to walk your dog this could be a great place to take them. There were also stations set up to do a variety of exercises which is pretty cool. I prefer my local park "Wild Wood" in Puyallup but it was nice to go somewhere I've never been before and Gig Harbor is a beautiful city. A couple young missionaries approached me towards the end of my walk to invite me to their church which I'm not local and church isn't really my thing to begin with but they were friendly and not as pushy as others I've come across over the years so it wasn't off-putting. Next time I'm around the Gig Harbor area I may come back for a short walk here but would like to see other parks are around the area. read more

They have some nice facilities, sports fields, indoor facilities, kids play ground, and some nice trails. Parking is tough.

This was a great find during our visit to Gig Harbor for brunch! We went on a Saturday so naturally it was incredibly packed and we almost left due to no parking but we found a place with just a minor hike. There were baseball games for the youth going on so I am sure that's where the crowds came from. Which was great because that meant open concessions for my kids who are snack lovers like all kids! This place has it all. Tennis courts. A playground appropriate for my 2yr old and 6yr old. Baseball fields. Open fields and a stationary bike and stair climber which I assume is for parents to use while they watch their kids on the play ground. Very Gig Harbin. The only reason why this isnt 5 stars is because there were a lot of dog poop messes left around the park both in the grass, on the side walk and in the grass area of the median curbs around the parking lot and sides of walking areas.i was surprised but this. read more

The nicest turf fields in Pierce County. I walked the perimeter trails while the team was warming up. Very well maintained and clearly marked. Dogs on leash are welcome too. It was a great experience, I hope my boys play here often! read more

Complete with an elaborate playground, tennis courts, full scale soccer field, three baseball fields, amphitheater, and an intimate woodland trail. A very safe environment. I drove over 30 miles to bring my son here because I heard it is awesome...and it is! The place is HUGE and the equipment is very modern. They have a really cool thing that looks like a big ship that you can sit in and rock, and a teeter-totter that is made so it doesn't matter what the people weigh on it, it balances out. For example my son, who is 4 years old and 45lbs, was able to bump me up and down on it. It was cool. There also is a giant sandbox area, and a lot of interactive equipment. If you are near gig harbor with kids this is a park for them! The playgrounds is big fun handicap asessible. There are paths to go on a little nature walk or small bike ride. There are bathrooms a short walk from the playground and tennis courts/baseball field/football/soccer fields. read more

This park is a little out of the way, but is a real jewel. The playground for little ones is huge and well designed. The turf field is in great shape, as are the grass fields, tennis courts and basketball court. We like to walk the trails, which are maintained well. read more

This park has something for everyone. Nature trails basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball courts, a play ground and in the spring/summer month they have a garden area. You can even get married here in a big beautiful building or even outside given the right temperature for you and your guests. There is also an amphitheater and bands once it starts getting warmer. read more
