One of the first things people notice about me is my teeth which I can attribute to excellent dental care over the last 26 years. I have seen recent turnover in the front desk and hygienists over the last several years, however he continues to hire quality staff. I cannot speak to his prices compared to the market, however you get what you pay for, as they say. When it comes to any major dental work, he will do it the correct way, not taking short cuts. He also ensures you feel NO pain. Dr. B. is a new addition to his practice. She is very warm and seems to have the same work ethic. I also had some indications of tooth instability in front that I also hadn't noticed. I just finished my third gum graft with Dr. Moore and am now confident that I will soon be completely ache free with a natural method that uses my own tissue to solve the problem in a lasting way. I found that the procedures themselves were so tolerable that I only needed local anesthesia. Then within a few days after the procedure I needed no over the counter pain medications and within a few weeks it feels normal. And doing my right side made me realize how much constant pain I had been living with because the right side pain was gone and the left side(not yet done) remained. I knew again what normal felt like. The staff is very nice and helpful in scheduling things around your other life.

My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

When I arrived, they performed a scan that I questioned, since I had already completed one just days earlier with the referring dentist. If they already had that information--or could have requested it--why repeat it? It felt unnecessary, especially knowing I'm a cash-paying patient. After going through all the paperwork, the large fee was only disclosed at the very end, which is completely unacceptable. When I addressed it, the manager argued and claimed their staff always discloses fees. That simply didn't happen. It became my word against theirs. I was told this would be a consultation to discuss the cost of a procedure--not an unexpected charge for services I didn't clearly agree to. Very misleading and disappointing experience.
