I also had some indications of tooth instability in front that I also hadn't noticed. I just finished my third gum graft with Dr. Moore and am now confident that I will soon be completely ache free with a natural method that uses my own tissue to solve the problem in a lasting way. I found that the procedures themselves were so tolerable that I only needed local anesthesia. Then within a few days after the procedure I needed no over the counter pain medications and within a few weeks it feels normal. And doing my right side made me realize how much constant pain I had been living with because the right side pain was gone and the left side(not yet done) remained. My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! After going through all the paperwork, the large fee was only disclosed at the very end, which is completely unacceptable. When I addressed it, the manager argued and claimed their staff always discloses fees. That simply didn't happen. It became my word against theirs. I was told this would be a consultation to discuss the cost of a procedure--not an unexpected charge for services I didn't clearly agree to. Very misleading and disappointing experience.
