Squirrels in attic. Nice guy came out. Ended up terminating them after 1 month no resolution.

Very happy with the services we received. We first had a squirrel living in a crack by the roof and soffit. Was educated on a good time to evict without hurting any potential babies. Before we could evict, birds moved in. Again was educated on the timing of when to safely close up the hole. They came right out and looked into the hole to make sure no eggs or babies remained in the nest and sealed up the whole completely. Also did a check around the house to make sure no other cracks or issues. Very caring towards the timing of using one way doors or closing up holes to ensure no animals were harmed. We had an issue with an animal making noise above our downstairs bathroom and called Seitz based on numerous positive recommendations on a havertown message board. We called in and explained the situation, received a lot of helpful info on what might be the cause and various ways things could play out . We were able to get an appointment for an inspection and received a call the morning of when Greg was on his way. Right away Greg was able to identify the root problem (birds nesting in an open ventilation exhaust) and explained the best course of action to (1) fix the vent damage and (2) prevent their access in the future. I was shocked by how blocked up the vent had gotten from the birds - nearly 100% closed up. Greg cleared everything out, placed a new exterior cover with mesh, and even patched up another vent exhaust on the second floor to ensure the birds didn't access the home in another way. We finally have our undisturbed quiet mornings back now and couldn't be happier with our decision to call Seitz wildlife. Expertise, professionalism, speed, and cost all A++. read more

To the woman I have spoken with at Seitz Wildlife (also known as the owner), I hope you received my message. I have to say, I am absolutely appalled at the service I have received. I have been very patient with you, but have decided that I need to take my services elsewhere. I first spoke to you about two weeks ago- in which you told me you would return my call to schedule a time to come out and set traps for the raccoons I have living under my deck. No call. I waited two days to give you the benefit of the doubt, in which I decided to call you back. When I did it sounded like you were at a daycare and could care less that you never got back to me. Then you said you would call me back again. No call. This was Thursday, I received a call on Monday with a terrible excuse that your phone wasn't able to leave messages. So I scheduled for the following day at 4pm. This was 7pm at night. The next day at 4pm I received a call when I had my dogs on a walk- I didn't check the voicemail because I figured it was a courtesy call saying you were half hour away. Nope, you were confirming apparently, and never showed up. Fuming, I called back the following day (we had stayed home waiting for you to show up the entire 4 hour window). You explained you were confirming- even though I had spoken to you to confirm less than 24 hours prior? Absolutely ridiculous. When I called back you informed me that you wouldn't have an opening until the following Tueaday, so I scheduled you to come out between 9-12pm. You called at 9:30 explaining that it was pouring where you were located, so you couldn't come out because it was unfavorable conditions, even though I told you it was NOT raining here in West Chester, but that you'd call back in a few hours to schedule a time for later in the afternoon. Again, NO CALL. I'm absolutely appalled (I'll say it again) that someone would run their business this way. How you get clients is beyond me. read more

Waste of money. $275 dollars to walk around the property for 15 minutes and set three (glue) traps I could have purchased myself and set. No follow up as promised. Would not recommend unless they offer a significantly lower fee. read more

Hired Seitz to remove a bat from our house. The timeframe that was quoted was accurate and Terri called back to confirm when Greg would arrive. Greg quickly and professionally removed the critter. He was patient and answered all my questions. Also his price was very fair and $200 less than a competitor who was not able to locate the bat. I would definitely hire Seitz again. Terry and Greg are amazing to work with! We hired them to get some raccoons out of a building we purchased and they answered my questions very thoroughly and were very patient! They responded within a few hours and were very professional. As an animal lover myself, I was worried about the raccoons. They were very courteous and humane with the respect to the raccoons and their "home" and came up with a plan that we were comfortable with. I attempted several times to give this company a chance. Since there are limited companies that service the Phila area for ceiling rodent/wildlife removal issues, I was pretty much stuck trying to get this company to come out. At first, I couldn't even get them on the phone. I would call, the phone would ring then go to voicemail, or the line would be busy (even though it sounds like a cell phone you are calling), or a woman would answer the phone and in the middle of scheduling an appt. with you, the phone would disconnect (this happened several times) and they wouldn't call you back or answer the phone if you called them back right after. I finally got them on the phone and scheduled an appt., after calling them several times and leaving a nasty voicemail about their communication issues. First, they advised that they would come out and do an inspection but do not leave mouse traps? So basically they would only do an inspect just to tell us where the problem is coming from and not leave traps if it is a mouse issue? The fee for them to come out was a couple hundred dollars. The day before the appt., they called and advised that he no longer had an assistant to help him up the ladder (to go onto the roof) and would have to reschedule the appt. to come out. I advised them that we have roof access from the third floor but she kind of ignored that. They never called back to reschedule. We called back several days later and they said they were interviewing roofers for assistance and would call us back to schedule. They will never call back and I don't want them to. I was referred to Seitz by a local exterminator as they specialize in exclusion ( identifying the rodents' points of access and plugging them up) I reached out to Terri(owner) and explained that I had small apt building and that a unit in the building had a mouse problem. She explained that it was only herself and her husband that worked; that they were very busy. She would review his schedule and call me back. Days passed. I left 2 vm and never received a return call. I called again Sat and Terri said she was in the middle of something and would call me back in 10 minutes. That never happened. I have never experienced such dismissive , apathetic customer service. I went on line and identified another company who does the same work. They'll be out tomorrow. Seitz simply sucks. They were not even courteous to say they were too busy . Pure knuckleheads!!!! Don't waste your time calling; by the time they schedule you ..... you'll have a Willard situation. read more
