Overall, great place to reset yourself. I started off as 5150, but then it turned into a 5250. They…read moreheld me the full 14 days. I classify this asylum as a ritz-Carlton. The staff is so friendly, it feels like they are the chik-fil-a of hospitals. You will not go hungry here. But you will get bored of eating the same food every time. For snack time I got 2 milks, 2 pb&j sandwiches, and got granola bars and snuck them into my room in case I got hungry when food isn't available. I had to go to court. I was ordered by a judge to take my medicine and stay in the hospital. One day, it was action packed! There was a guy who charged at a metal exterior door and he escaped for a little bit. Honestly, I thought about doing the same thing, but I couldn't risk getting my time extended because my family is going on vacation a week after my discharge. You get to see the different levels of severity of mental illness. There was one lady who looked like she could have been a professional model if she never did drugs. She flipped her food tray during lunch and made a huge mess. Staff is super friendly. Elizabeth (social worker), sorry for pestering you that one day. Also I stole a few towels. I didn't steal the blanket, I thought that would be too much. It was at this hospital that I realized I have a dual diagnosis of Savant syndrome Bipolar (not schizoaffective)(I don't hallucinate) Alcohol and drug abuse. I gained like 20 pounds here from eating 3 meals a day and 3 large snacks a day and doing zero exercise. I'm writing this the morning after my discharge. I'm starting to accept after like ten years I need some medicine to keep me level-headed. I did and am going to do therapy to be normal. I'm going to do this cuz the girl I live wants me to "get (my) shit together." I tend to be fearless and extremely ambitious when I am manic. Then sometimes I am depressed and just want a gun to pop myself. I was homeless in my car and on the sidewalks too. Overall, I am being rehabilitated correctly with a solid foundation. I want to be rehabilitated and be normal so that I can win her back.

Literally the worst providers and system "health" or otherwise- I've had the misfortune of…read morevisiting. super unprofessional, lacking basic caring and compassion, unskilled providers, and general demeanor that fails at excellence and does not meet even the most basic standard of care. they deserve zero stars. I did have a bit of a moment finding the right therapist but that is just the nature of the beast…read more Once I connected with my therapist, I have never had a more kind, open minded person. I live a fairly non traditional life and not one moment felt judged by him. He actually took the time to educate himself to be able help me better. This place will get you with the right person and I cannot recommend this place more

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this therapist office with my family left me genuinely…read moredisturbed and disappointed. We come from a military background and deeply value professionalism, structure, and respect--qualities that were sorely lacking here. We arrived 30 minutes early to our scheduled appointment, only to be told five minutes after the appointment time that it had been canceled--without any prior notice. No apology, no explanation, and certainly no accountability. This level of disregard for people's time and needs is unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to be a mental health haven. The waiting area was incredibly uncomfortable. While our family is open-minded, loving, and accepting of all walks of life, we did not feel that the space was safe or appropriate--especially with our four-month-old newborn present. The behavior and general vibe of the people allowed to linger in the lobby were unsettling, and it made us question the level of discernment and professionalism of the staff. It's deeply ironic that this office markets itself as a safe and healing space, when in reality, it induced more stress, confusion, and anxiety than any other environment I've stepped into for mental health care. It's difficult to imagine how someone working in this field could appear so mentally unwell themselves--and even more difficult to understand how they were hired to help others. If you are not part of a very specific demographic or ideology, and especially if you are a working-class or military family like ours, you may find yourself feeling very unwelcome and out of place here. Please be wary. What this place claims to be and what it actually is are two very different things.

Daniela Bumann's style of life coaching is a mind opening experience!…read moreI am 27 years old and a Registered ICU Nurse. I came to Daniela a little over a year ago, primarily because of an eating disorder I had had for nearly 8 years. Also identity issues and confusion in myself of what I wanted in life, what mattered to me, and how to make it happen. Daniela skillfully helped me learn to quiet my mind and all the distractions I'd built up around me, so I was able to go deep into my own truth. This ability to go in, to my feelings, my sensations, and become aware of my body's feedback on how I was living has opened my mind and changed the way I live. During our sessions, Daniela always seemed to know just what activity I needed to help me go deeper in... and it was always a surprise to me :) lol. I now use the tools she has given me to listen to my inner self, to be honest with myself (good or bad), and to release control. I've learned so much about relationships and boundaries. The relationship with my own body and with my mind, the relationship with food and appriciation for it, not abuse. My relationships with coworkers, family members and friends have become so much healthier, real and loving. My life has so much more excitement and meaning, and I look forward to what the future brings :) Daniela has brought VIBRANCY and JOY to my life! Lauren Cook, RN BSN
