So between a few great reviews about them from friends and colleagues of mine and with my own research on them; so found it to be a perfect match. I walked into the office Tuesday and I immediately can tell it's a place with a prestigious uphold. Very up to date interior design and clean cut atmosphere. Most importantly the amazing staff they have working. They are very professional and proficient and knowledgeable in what they do. Monica was the one who took care of my needs walking in for my first appointment. She is extremely kind and informative and prompt. You can for sure tell she knows what she is talking about! I seen her answer calls while helping both myself and another patient on the phone in a timely matter (which to me being in the health field multitasking is an absolute must). The dentist was amazing as well (not the kind that rushes you because they overbook ! but quite the opposite) he sat there and explained to me everything and made me feel less nervous. I mean who doesn't get nervous at the dentist! Lol . Overall my experience was probably the best I've ever had in a dental practice and I'm really happy I Listened to my friends and colleagues on this one! Before leaving I stopped at the front desk again to make my follow up appointment and surely Monica helped me with this as well and wished me a great upcoming weekend. I would not recommend as the crowns were not made correctly and needed to be highly adjusted. Both crowns should have been a visual for the dentist to see they were not straight, uneven and sharp edges, when putting them in. Terrible experience. No well informed information before a testing procedures, they tell you a week later something wasn't covered and then charge a highly excessive fee for records which is not within the federal guidelines for electronic copies of records or images.

Dr. Planken changed my whole experience of dentistry. I did my research online when searching for a new dentist. The reviews on my insurance and on her website had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Planken. And I am here to add the same. I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Planken as a new patient and there was no problem scheduling me in. The secretary ran my insurance prior to my appointment to make sure I was covered. She also has new patient forms that you can fill out prior to your appointment so it goes smoother. Dr. Planken took me right in and asked about my prior dental history and other screening questions. It was a surprise to me that she also did the cleaning (which is usually done by a dental hygienist). I questioned this and Dr. Planken stated she does everything here. I found that it was much more personable and a more pleasant experience. Most of the time at the dentist, the hygienist does the cleanings and the dentist just comes in to poke around to see if there's any cavities at that's it. This was not the case. Dr. Planken conducted the cleaning, read the x-rays and did the whole exam. Like I said, I found the experience much more personable and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Planken after my experience. She answered all my questions to the best of her knowledge and I am actually not dreading returning back to her office in 6 months. My trip was not close too. I drove from New Hyde Park to Wantagh for my appointment and there are plenty of dentists in and around my town. But I believe in the quality of good healthcare and Dr. Planken will definitely be my go to dentist from now on. Thank you Dr. Planken for changing my experience of dentistry for the better!

The staff , professional and friendly!! They go above & beyond to help make your visit pleasant. One (of many I might add) positive experiences I had Was with Nicolette. She has helped my son & I going out of her way to even contacting us on her off day to rectify an insurance issue. Again this Dental office staff cares & takes pride in there jobs. The staff was friendly, parking was simple and there were tons of current magazines in the neat waiting area. Too bad our appointment was for 9 am because Saverio's is a stones throw across the street but didn't open until 11:30 am.
