I bought a 2010 Scion Tc from this dealership in December, they broke the hatchback latch when they tried to open the hatchback door. They said they would fix that and they did but in turn broke the shift plate while they were fixing something else. They also said they would give me a second key they did not. The shift plate had to be ordered and to this day I still have not got it. I would not recommend. read more

It was obvious the moment I walked onto the lot that this was a stealership. Looking at their other reviews I see it's common practice for these people to sell lemons to people. Prices don't reflect the value of the cars. I have countless years of experience working on automobiles, and was chosen by a friend to give a car a second look for him. Upon inspection this is what I found, Oil leak (pools of oil in engine bay) , corrosion on engine & wheels, rust underneath, bumper attached at bottom with zipties and broken in both corners, smokers car (burn marks & tar in the seatbelts) seatbelts are loose and don't retract all the way, bubbling paint drivers door jam, scratches drivers rear quarter, scratches passenger mirror, scratches under rear door, dents on driver door, dent near sunroof (on both sides), obvious hail damage, front brakes 1/2 life, suspension and steering components all oringinal not replaced. This dealership dropped their price from $9999 to $7999 on a 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe with body damage, hail damage, cigarette smoke damage, and in need of Mechanical repairs. Car has 95k miles and obviously had not been maintained well over those 95k miles. Blue books in good condition for $2532-4129 These people were out of pocket trying to take $8k from someone for a lemon of an auction car with a multitude of problems. Not to mention their warrenty is absolute trash. They provide a limited 30 day or 1000 mile warranty that ONLY covers 10% of parts and 10% of labor, and have to be completed by a shop they choose. Either they have bad casualty insurance or they know they sell junk cars. Please do go check it out and decide for yourself, I think they know they sell junk cars and they enjoy getting over on people. read more

Brought a truck they had it advertised as a 4 wheel drive .. I did t realize it wasn't u till I drive off .. they said it was a mistake and would not lower the price .. sounds fishy to me .. the breaks light came on the next day I had truck and check engine light came on .. the ac didn't blow cold air .. something else I have to spend money on .. will never buy a truck from them again .. and every job I work on will be sure to let them no never to buy from them .. read more

Bought a car from these guys a few months ago. They lied to me about the mechanicals and issues with the car. The convertible top didn't work, suspension need an overhaul and front power seats didn't function. I was out of state and took a chance. If you are an out of state buyer then don't trust them. Purchased a Honda for our son. Worked with Andrew. Nobody was pushy. Answered our questions in an upfront and kind way. Felt comfortable with everyone who works there. Got the car home and discovered the lights weren't working and a couple minor things. Have to admit was preparing for a fight to get these things fixed. Never should have worried. Called in. Told them what was up. Two days later everything is fixed and in working order. We were treated with respect throughout. We will be looking for a truck soon and they will be our first and probably only stop provided they have what we need. Would recommend to anyone. There was nothing quick and easy about this process which needless to say I didn't phase the truck I had inquired about. The impression I got was if you do not have good credit then they will not TRY to sell you a car. I had to call each time and every time I was told they would call me and they never did. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend unless you are paying cash for these overpriced vehicles. read more

I had test driven on of their Honda Civics for sale on Wednesday and had my mechanic look at it. My mechanic at Trinity Auto said there was problems with the transmission. When I showed Gabriel the report he said that he would have his mechanic look at it and call me when he found out something. I wanted the vehicle and told them I would purchase it if they could verify the problem. They never called back. A few days later, I went through auto trader to verify if it was for sale and Select Auto e-mailed to say it was available to test drive. They were trying to sell the vehicle without fixing the problem. I wouldn't trust them for any vehicle if they are going to do business like that. Be aware! read more

I found this truck, a 2007 Toyota Tundra, on their website. It was a great looking truck. I went and talked with Andrew the salesman about it and an hour later I drive home with it. No hassles, no "let's go talk to my manager" crap. We struck a deal in the parking lot with a handshake. It didn't stop there. I've had three things go wrong with the truck in the first month. Loose wheel, bad alternator, and what we thought was a blown starter (ended up being a battery cable issue). The owner, Scott, jumped in and fixed each issue no questions asked. I didn't pay a dime. None of those issues were from neglect or them not doing their jobs. Each thing is a normal part of car ownership but Select Motors fixed them even though they were not legally liable. Someday I'm going to buy another vehicle. I'd put money on it that the first place I'll check will be Select Motors. Do yourselves a favor and check them out. These guys, the brothers we dealt with that have been in the family business, were all helpful, easy to deal with, and generally made the process a great one for my husband, but especially me since I was the primary person dealing with them. Buying a car is stressful, and there is a certain amount of "bargaining" that for some can be "not fun" at all, but these guys really made it fun. We felt we were given an EXTREMELY fair deal. Check kbb and nada, but don't put any of their vehicles into the retail category, they're in too bad a shape.
