These guys get it. I worked with them last week on a business event for a dinner we were hosting for a group of 50. We needed a outdoor theater quality projector / screen set-up. Specifically a super bright projector that could show a film in full, glorious 1080p. I'm talking massive 12 foot by 9 foot screen! After shopping around to 6 or 7 different rental companies who, quite frankly, sounded like they couldn't care less, I gave these guys a call. They worked with me on the rate for a couple different options and really spent the time to get me acquainted with the equipment that we'd be using. They really took the time to make sure that everything would go off without issue, but Susan the owner did offer a rate for a professional to come with me and do everything, which it sounds like most people do. I had a receiver that developed a problem due to a bad HDMI board. I spoke with the manufacturer and they suggested I bring it here for an authorized repair. I called Videotech and spoke with Juan about the issue, and he was 100% confident that a repair would be possible and fast as well. 30 minutes later, I'm at the shop dropping off the receiver. Everyone there is super friendly and in a good mood ( you know when you walk into a business and can tell that everyone really enjoys their jobs....well, this is that kind of place ). Juan tells me that it will take up to a few days to get the parts he needs but that he will call me as soon as it's ready for pickup. He calls me back a few days later, just as promised, and my receiver is ready. When I get there, they don't just give me the receiver and send me on my way, instead they hook up the receiver and show me that the problem it had, has now been fixed....100%. While I was also there, I mentioned that in the future I'd be buying a new hometheater receiver for my main setup. He gives me a quote, that is easily the BEST price I have found from an authorized dealer. I'll definitely be buying my new unit from Videotech, when I'm ready. If you need a repair, whether you're in warranty or not, I strongly suspect you'd have a very difficult time, finding a more competent and friendly shop than Viedotech. I was having issues with my WiFi on my TV and Sharp customer service was not very helpful. I contacted Assured and spoke with a gentleman named Vinny. He was very helpful and straight forward with the price to fix my TV. Before I had them pick it up, Vinny instructed me on how to do a hard reset on my TV to see if maybe that might fix the problem. Our company had a party over the weekend, we rented 2 projectors and 2 backdrops for the event to play some marketing clips and a few fun video to summary our 30 years celebration. We called in the check with Assured AV on Thursday and got a quote right away. We picked up the equipment on Friday. I met Tony and assume he's the owner. Tony is very friendly and informative. He showed me how to deploy and retract the backdrops tripods. And also how to split/duplicate 1 HDMI signal to multiple projectors. He rent us some 50ft high quality HDMI cables. So grateful I found them! Very professional and great communication throughout the rental process, from initial inquiry to when we went to pick up the equipment. I was on a budget so we had to set it up the projector and screens ourselves, and they showed us how to everything! Everything was separated nicely and labeled so that it would be a breeze on the day of the event. They even emailed a video tutorial on how to set up in case I was to forget. Needless to say, our event ran smoothly, the set-up was so quick and easy. My daughter and her friends were asked to sing at my uncle's funeral service and we found out two days before the service that the venue had NO A/V equipment for us (i.e. microphones, speakers, etc.). Not only were they so quick to respond, but they were VERY FRIENDLY and so knowledgeable in all the equipment we would need. They even advised us on how many extension cords, cables and a power strip since we weren't sure how far the event was from an outlet (it was held outside in a tent due to COVID). They had all the equipment ready for us by the next day, and even gave us a short training session on how to set up the equipment. I received a panicked call from our marketing/events team that our AV supplier ditched us at the last minute, so I was asked to find someone with 48hrs notice to put up gear for a live music act. Monty picked up the phone right away and was immediately helpful and very knowledgable. Some parts of our list were vague and Monty knew exactly what the musician would have wanted. The day of the actual event, Monty was there early and ready to get set up. He spent time on the phone with our artist going over some last minute details like which mix he wanted to hear through his monitor. The event was perfect. We had fans cheering and singing along and the sound system was perfect for the size of the venue we were in. 1. Outdated hours on website nearly made me waste 3 hours in the car. 2. Made my receiver worse than when I sent it to them 3. No communication after they made my receiver worse. 4. would avoid if at all possible. I was told by Pioneer that this was the nearest authorized repair center to me so I took the time to get my Elite receiver from San Diego to them. I was heading up on a Saturday as their website listed Saturday hours. I called multiple times on my way to make sure they were open. turns out that they do not have any Saturday hours. Luckily my father-in-law (FIL) lives in Orange county and could take the receiver to them during the week. After several weeks, I was told that it was ready. My FIL was able to pick it up for me. I was very excited to get it reconnected, but the excitement didn't last long. the receiver was worse off than when I sent it to them. the auto speaker set-up would not complete, and if we paused a movie/show/etc, the receiver would go back into the speaker set-up. I would have to shut the unit down for several minutes in order to be able to use it. I contacted VideoTech via email (the same method that I'd used all along with great success) to tell them of the problems with the unit, and I was ignored. I will never go back to this place again. read more

Had a Sharp TV fail just out of warrantee and was referred to Videotech by Sharp. Juan helped me to try to resolve the problem over the phone free of charge and was able to diagnose the problem but it did need service. Quoted a very reasonable price over the phone, I brought it in on a Friday. After looking at it he said parts would need to be ordered and would be done the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
