Every step of the way the staff was comforting, knowledgeable and understanding. They provided me the knowledge and the means to work towards my goal of returning me to as close as I can to normal. If I ever need to receive physical or concussion therapy again, I will be returning. Shout out to Trevor and C.J and all the people at the Colonial Heights and Richmond locations. Well this is another doctor my wife had to visit as she has trouble with her voice. It sounds like…read moreshe is hoarse all the time and people have asked her does she have throat cancer. Well that has got her worried and this is where we wound up at. The doctor checked her out and ran this little tube with a light and camera on it through her nose to look at her vocal cords. Sounds a little painful but my wife said it wasn't to bad. Anyway all he saw was some inflammation and said it from acid reflux and she need to change her eating habits, as she already take meds for this. The doctor increased her meds and gave her instruction on what she can not eat or drink. Anyway it turned out to be nothing to serious. And of course I had to add my two cents worth, I ask the doctor wouldn't two week of no talking help. Of course he gave me no response but my wife sure did. I will say our visit was quick and thorough and if need be will return.

From what I can tell, this is the primary gym on Ft. Lee. Wow, for a many people as there are on…read morethis installation and for all the construction going on - money certainly hasn't been thrown at the fitness center. The weight room is always super packed. To me, the cardio room is awkwardly arranged. I have had ample time to "study" this. I think the ellipticals, treadmills and stairmasters appear to be placed haphazardly, but someone thought that was a way to shove in more equipment in a small area. Not sure, but I hate running and looking straight on at someone 5 feet away on an elliptical. They do offer several fitness classes, but I have not tried any of those out yet. The biggest draw here seems to be the basketball court - it is always overflowing with people. Bottom line - not a great gym, but has what is needed for a workout. Maybe this part of the Ft. Lee garrison will catch up with the rest of the installation's upgrades.

Let me start off that this is an 1 star review solely on the fact of the Nursing department…read moreand,techs or CNAS,Patient care technician..The therapy department is Excellent..During my loved ones stay she was left soaked,not turned from 11:15 am to till 4:30pm when I arrived at the facility.I rang the call bell and the Nurse came to the door I then asked her what was the rounding policy per the facility because on the dry erase boards rounds would be made every 2 hours and my loved would be checked to for incont every 30 minutes.The Nurse told me she peeked in the room and she was sleep so I didn't check her..I told the nurse it was unacceptable she well if she's asleep I'm not going to check her.I said what if she sleeps for 8 hours she said I said if she sleep I'm not going to check her.I then asked if she could direct me to the administrator office she said no I'm not taking you anywhere.The way the facility CEO handled the situation the next morning was unacceptable by myself not being able to visit my loved as he states an,Physical altercation I then asked him what physical altercation,as my family members was present right in the room and witnessed everything.I do believe this was drastic.So speaking up for loved one who can't gets an family member not able to go to a facility because of the negligence of Staff..Please keep your loved ones from Encompass on behalf of the poor Nursing Care..The therapy department is awesome but again that only 3 hours out of the day.For the remainder 21 hours yours total care loved 1 stands a great chance of not being turned and probably care for.The same nurse proceed to give my loved 1 her medication while as she takes her meds crushed related to her recent stroke.Please beware of this negligent facility.And the CEO John was very unprofessional and I do believe matters would have been different if it was an caucasian family.Please please stay on top of nursing if you do send your love 1..but I wouldn't recommend it

I…read morewent in to the emergency room after a visit patient first who told me that I had a lot of anomalies in my blood work along with a few other issues and they sent me straight to the emergency room. When I got there, they ran the initial blood tests and everything as well and found all of the same bloodwork anomalies. Well, all of the nurses in the ER were super nice, super helpful and helped me tremendously since I was by myself for quite some time. My boyfriend showed up and stayed with me until they were just getting ready to take me to a room, which was at 2 AM in the morning. So technically I'd sat in the ER room for 10 hours but because of all of the test testing and everything it pretty much went quickly. And I sent my boyfriend home around midnight to take care of our dogs. Anyways, the bathrooms in the ER we're fairly clean and well stocked. But you're also sharing bathrooms with 100 other people lol. When I finally got to my room, the nurse that was assigned to me on Night Shift got me hooked up to multiple multiple. IVs took vials and vials of blood and all the while making me feel very much at ease. I had this particular nurse for two nights in a row and she was nothing but sweet and kind. She allowed me to sleep through some of the things she had to do to get my vitals and everything. I ended up staying three nights and was allowed to be released Tuesday late evening. All of the food was not terrible lol not that I ate all that much. And the lady who delivered my food three times a day was the most happiest lady I've ever met. The only thing I hated was that because of all the IV lines and medication's and vials of blood being taken from me. I only had a short walk from my bed into the bathroom and couldn't even shut the door and had to wash my hands in the room because I couldn't even reach the sink in the bathroom. The doctor that was on the floor for most of my visit I found him kind of cocky at first, but as I got to know him better and was able to ask questions he turned out to be a pretty good guy. For those who were wondering, I had taken some water pills at home that were verbal apparently that depleted a lot of stuff in my system, including potassium, sodium, etc. So they got that fixed. Then the day before I was released, they found out I had pneumonia and had been misdiagnosed with bronchitis several weeks before and was on the wrong medication's and because that doctor had recommended me take Tylenol when I started running a fever somehow or other, I managed to overdose on Tylenol because it not only was in pill form, but it was also in other medication's. They had given me for the bronchitis so I had a whole lot of things going on, but I made it through. Happy to be home. I know this is a lot to read, but this is and was my experience.

By end of week hallucinating, couldn't wake up one morning, high blood pressure whole time, feet cold and no heart beat in top of feet week. First month check up Dr wouldn't see or give blood thinner bc of billed owed from 2017. Ended up another heart attack, failed stress test, ICU 4 days for 3rd stent that was needed in left main artery and was left 99%blockage, didn't know about. Dr told was very lucky. Was sent to Chippenham and will NEVER STOP PETERSBURG AGAIN
