The 2 therapists helped me with my injury but their professionalism is not what I expected. There's not a lot of direction as a new patient. You're told to sit on the bike but not told for how long etc. There are many side conversations going on with not 100% attention on their patient. A bit frustrating to say the least. If you don't care about any of that then I'd possibly suggest going here.

Hip stuff, knee stuff, shoulder stuff...painful stuff but if you dont do it you pretty much are going to be as messed up as you were before the surgery. So in my case, nothing like a little rotator cuff surgery which was no walk in the park then you have to go thru the hell of PT. *&%#%#!!@$% I think the worst part is that you are only given bits and pieces of what you will go thru and not full disclosure. Or maybe the overview is all the doctors really want you to get, at this point I'm not sure, what I am sure of is PT is hard, very hard, but all of the therapists here have alot of patience with all of the clients and really work with you. If your not feeling good or your really hurting they will do a different approach to your therapy that day. I am not finished yet, but I am certainly a long way from where I started. Feel confident if you come here that you are in the right hands and are with people that really care.

I had two appointments with him pre-surgery and he put me quite at ease with his bedside manner and competency. His staff was very nice and they too expressed that if they needed the surgery they would trust him to take care of them. So surgery was last Friday at UF North and of course like most doctors things were running behind so I had to wait my turn. No big deal except for being hungry. When it was time for surgery the anesthesia doctors were very nice and explained everything. I had a nerve block and then some sleepy time meds and the next thing you know I was done and in recovery asking for some snacks and ginger ale. The recovery nurse was so nice, she said I have chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin granola bars and my response was YES! She started laughing. I won't go into the pain etc, you can go to YouTube and see all the whiners about that stuff. One thing for sure, all this velcro on this sling and sling fanny pack thing is itchy as hell and someone should come up with something to cover this crap. Not sure using pantyliners is outdoor acceptable, but kitchen towels are too heavy and scarfs are too hot. Velcro...my only complaint!

Let's not forget physical therapy and occupational therapy and the Dr all on one accord. They treated me like I mattered and this facility was spotless, food great!!
