At my most recent visit 3/2026, Jesse did my intake stuff & a follow up survey about mental health he was so polite and engaging. I had my physical done by NP Brittany Nielsen. She was wonderful. The appointment was smooth and comforting. She addressed each of my questions patiently and listened attentively. Great experiences. 10/10 would recommend.

Today, I'm going to simply state an experience that ANY PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER WOULE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT and for legal purposes I'm going to keep it brief as I've been informed by counsel to not communicate about anything IF YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING BECOM8NG A PATIENT HERE I FEEL ITS MY DUTY TO LET YOU KNOW THERE WILL BE A TIME LIKE RIGHT NOW WHERE THIS OFFIVE IS RUN BY A COMPUTER,(for lack of verbiage)! Yes, you are joining the AI version of a doctor. I attempted to get ahold of Dr Patrick Lau a few days ago and on the site until I saw the note under the portal that says "DOCTOR IS OUT OF OFFICE UNTIL JUNE 23rd(this is at least his 9 vacation this year, so if you want this doctor-GET USED TO THAT INSTANT REPLY! THERE ARE MULTIPLE TIMES WHERE I FELT LIKE I WAS HAVING CONVERSATIONS VIA THE SUTTER POTTAL(My Health- one of a few platforms the use) WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSON.They have taken technology and manipulated it in the fullest. I JUST HOPE THEY ARENT USING THIS SAME CONCEPT WITH MEDICARE, MEDICAID AND ALL OF TGE INSURERS. Aside from the fact that they do "After Viist Summeries" for medication reviews(or in other words pushing a button to okay a refill and charge my Medicare $225), I have no real evidence but let's just say, INSURANCE AND MEDICARE FRAUD would not surprise me at all! I mean, it would be extremely simple to do with their set up and one could rake in tens of millions easily. If I could only sink that low, but I digress as I'm here to review a business and not be a dark web forum on how to scam the US Govt and INSURANCE COMPANIES WORLD WIDE!. If I were looking for a new PCP I would look somewhere else. However, if I were looking for advice on how scam and get rich fast, this might be a good place to learn from.

My experience, 1. I want to thank Your Medical Director Dr…read moreP. Yabes for figuring out that I had pneumonia and sending me back to the hospital that I should not have left. 2. Case Manager Reymond E. has been outstanding getting everything completed in a timely manner. Every time I have a question or a concern, he has been there and has fixed it. 3. I cannot remember everyone's name on the second floor. This is about the day and night shifts every Nurse, PCT, all support staff at nurses' station and housekeeping. They are friendly, kind, will do everything that you need with a smile (even if they are not assigned to you or your floor). The staff is very professional you should be very pleased that they are working for a great company. If I ever have to go to rehab, I will defiantly come back here. 4. Dani M. has the best PT, OT and staff. I have been in quite a few rehab centers (in/outpatient) and by all means you have the best. She is doing an outstanding job. I saw the sign outside her door (come on in and chat which I did) when I was walking by with Hannah and Dani was great. 5. Edward S. definitely knows what he is doing. He evaluated me and did an outstanding job. He also listened to my concerns and came up with a plan of attack. His knowledge of the muscles and nerves helped me a lot to get where I need to be. The stuff he has given me helped me more than the OT person I had when I had my stroke. He also has the respect of everyone on the therapy floor, if they have any questions, I have seen them go the Edward and he will an something and they go back to their patient. Edward needs to be in a management position. 6. Hannah G. physical therapy knowledge is above all PT persons I have had the privilege of working with. She has a great sense of humor. I had a problem when exercising, I would hold my breath. She kept saying to me breathe, breathe, those words are stuck in my brain and will never go away and I watching you. She is the only one that made me rest in between tasks the proper amount of time required. I have seen her work with other patients, and you can tell she really cares about them and all patients. She even gave me exercise to complete at home. She is a great asset to your rehab facility you can not ever let her leave. 7. Having to stay a few extra days was what I needed thanks to Edward and Hannah I have continued the exercise that they have taught me. 8. My only negative thing I have is you TV channels, they don't match what your channel lineup has. I can only watch channels 2-34. Channels 35-52 did not work. 9. You have an outstanding facility, what would make even better is after I left inpatient care, is to come back as an outpatient to contain with PT/OT care.

Because of infections that happened during my dad's stay they sent him away so they wouldn't have to be responsible for him. This facility doesn't want to care for or help patients that may require extra support and more tailored therapies. The nursing staff acts in a way that is unbecoming of the nursing profession. They have laughed at, made fun of, and rolled their eyes when asked for help with my dad. I came in multiple times to find my dad sitting in his own filth in tears that nobody would help him. Sitting in wheelchairs that were too short so his legs were jammed into his chest, left there unable to move in excruciating pain. Having nurses laugh at patients, drag their feet to offer hands on care, and leaving patients filthy and unable to move directly violates ethics standards set out by the Nursing Practice Act. Professional conduct should uphold patients dignity and show compassion not demean people who have gone through life changing health issues. The therapist for the most part are kind and caring. Though there are a few who have no business working with people in this type of environment (I'm looking at you Jeff). The rehabilitation aspect is the only thing I trust this facility with which is why my dad had a family member there nearly 24:7. My sister stayed over night three nights a week. The one star is for them and nobody else! Case managers are not communicative and unavailable the majority of the time. Perhaps other people have better reviews and experiences because they are not seeing the type of care their loved ones are getting. all I can tell you is be present and do not trust that these people are properly caring for those you love. If your loved one had a stroke and can't speak clearly, walk, or take care of themselves do not leave them alone here. A shiny new facility is a great distraction for the patient neglect that is happening when you aren't looking.

LOGISTICS I was referred to Burger Physical Therapy through…read moremy insurance provider, Western Health Advantage (WHA), after I tore my Achilles tendon. My copay is approximately $15 per session. Appointments are typically scheduled in advance - often in a series of sessions that span several weeks or months - to ensure continuity of care and steady progress. This consistency has been essential to my recovery. CLIENT / PATIENT CARE Physical therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience - it's a journey, and I'm still on mine. While I'm not fully recovered yet, I've come a long way, and that progress is thanks to the amazing team at Burger Physical Therapy - especially my Physical Therapist, Sam. Sam is absolutely incredible. She's compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply attuned to the needs of each person she works with. She meets you where you are, both physically and emotionally, and walks with you - step by step - toward where you need to be. Communication is so important in PT, and Sam exemplifies this beautifully. Whether you're someone who is shy and reserved or more direct, she has this effortless way of adapting her approach to fit your personality and comfort level. I've had the privilege of watching her work with a wide variety of clients. One moment that stood out was when she supported someone who seemed overwhelmed and resistant to almost every suggested activity. Rather than becoming frustrated, Sam calmly and creatively came up with alternatives on the spot - demonstrating not only her expertise but her empathy. It was truly inspiring to witness. Personally, she's helped me immensely - not just with manual therapy and movement retraining, but with understanding why we do each exercise and how it helps in the bigger picture of healing and long-term recovery. That kind of education empowers you, especially when you're navigating vulnerability and uncertainty. TEAM & SUPPORT STAFF Beyond Sam, the entire Burger PT team deserves recognition. From the front desk to the physical therapy assistants, every single person I've encountered has made a positive impact on my experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Ashley, Margery, Gavin, Noah, Susanne, and Jalila - each of you has played a role in my recovery journey, and I'm truly grateful. You guys are absolutely sweet. I've worked with several of them. They've watched me fumble and make mistakes. It's a vulnerable position to be in, but they've always treated me with kindness and respect. They have always been on top of scheduling my appointments and working myself and my insurance company to make sure the lag time between approvals and appointments doesn't affect my PT and care. SUMMARY Burger Physical Therapy in Natomas is truly a gem. What they offer goes beyond physical rehabilitation - they provide compassionate, person-centered care in an environment that feels safe and encouraging. To Sam and the entire team (Ashley, Noah, Jalila, Gavin, Susanne, and Margery): thank you. You've helped me reclaim a part of myself back that I lost after my injury and reminded me that healing is not just about regaining mobility and strength - it's about having a community that believes in you, encourages you, and helps you find the right balance between mobility, strength, and proper form. I'm so grateful to have found this team and look forward to continuing this journey with them by my side.
