*SAME DAY SERVICE*…read more Let me start off by saying, I had an appointment first thing this morning at 0800 with Firestone for a tire repair. I saw a nail in my tire so naturally I thought this was causing my tire to deflate. Well, it turns out my rim was cracked so a guy suggested Columbus Custom Exhaust (CCE). I left Firestone and immediately drove to CCE. They didn't open til 0900 but I managed to arrive by 0905. I explained my situation and was told the price was dependent on how many cracks there were in the rim. They even told me how much dependent on the number found. Keep in mind, I knew how many there were because Firestone showed me the rim. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant considering I'm a woman and sometimes we can be taken advantage of. Not here! My car was lifted off the ground at 0919 and one crack was found and repaired by 1310 (4 hours). I'm super impressed and recommend this business for your various needs. I blew my motor in my 2011 Nissan Versa and Phil's came to my rescue. Phil and Don had me a motor back in and had me fully mobile again with a car that now runs like a brand new one. Even my brakes work better and they didn't even do any brake work to it...seriously folks, these guys have integrity, fairness and concern for each customer of their's, and will treat you right and honestly. They don't take shortcuts on the job but instead professional install every part or bolt back into your vehicle like factory. This is a Christian family business and they had mercy on my health condition with stage 4 cancer, and my girlfriend an amputee of her leg. In other words we were stuck without a way to go. But Phil's took us as a customer because we had no where else to turn. We were treated respectful, talked to in kindness, and kept informed on any updates on our car as repairs were made and completed. When we picked up our car and drove away, I thought my Nissan was identifying as a Cadillac. She had power, pep, and runs fantastic. Mosley Auto Repair…read more Re: Engine Rebuild on 2012 Ford F150 FX4 at Mosley's Auto Sales This correspondence serves as a formal review regarding the engine rebuild performed on our 2012 Ford F150 FX4 at Mosley's Auto Sales. Initially, we dropped off the vehicle in October with the understanding that the repairs would take approximately 3-4 weeks. However, this timeline was grossly underestimated, and we did not receive our vehicle back until 4.5 months later. Throughout this period, my family and I have been in contact with this business via phone and in person on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, we have received inconsistent information regarding the status of our vehicle each time we inquired. During this period, we were informed that parts were on order, only to discover that the incorrect parts had been sent according to William. Further delays ensued while awaiting additional parts. Upon finally becoming frustrated with the dishonesty and lack of transparency from your establishment, I instructed my family to retrieve the vehicle. Upon arriving at the shop, we were informed that the vehicle did not have an exhaust system. We were advised that the exhaust system was faulty, and we were expected to pay an additional $1,200 for a new exhaust system. Notably, this issue was not communicated to us until after the vehicle had been in your possession for over 4.5 months. Furthermore, we were not previously informed that a new exhaust system was required. We took our vehicle to an exhaust shop and incurred an additional cost of nearly $800 to rectify this issue. Regrettably, upon returning our vehicle to Mosley's Auto Sales due to ongoing engine issues, we were met with a series of excuses and delays. Despite being assured that our vehicle was in working order on April 30, 2025 by William, that they were replacing some springs and it was a 12 to 14 hour job. But the truck ran perfectly fine. The only issue was the fan motor wasn't turning on cooling the engine which they said that it was fixed and they were working on the AC compressor to get it working. After not hearing from William on 5 May 2025. I called again and spoke with William. Where he then subsequently informed me of a major electrical problem on May 6, 2025. My question is how can I have a major electrical issue when it was just running fine Friday. You and your team were only trying to get the AC to work which ended up being a bad compressor and the bearings were bad. This establishment has failed to provide us with any documentation regarding the work conducted on our vehicle, including the name of the engine builder. Nothing as far as parts labor. In light of these circumstances, we have made the decision to retrieve our vehicle on May 9, 2025, and seek the services of another repair shop to conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment. We expect a higher level of professionalism and transparency in our business dealings, and it is unfortunate that Mosley's Auto Sales has failed to meet these expectations. Took vehicle to Big T tires and within 4 days had a complete print out and diagnostic of said engine. In their professional opinion, the engine was never rebuilt the same issue that we brought it in for in September 2024 is the same issue that's been going on. Here are some of the underlying concerns that I have identified with this company. One, they lack transparency, accountability, and reliability. Two, the numerous excuses and issues with the vehicle at each visit are redundant and unreasonable. Without fail, each visit yields a different answer or an additional issue with the vehicle. Three, we did not receive any documentation of the work done, even upon the initial pickup of the vehicle. The explanation provided was that the owner had the paperwork, but as the shop manager, one would expect you to have access to such documentation. Four, they are unwilling to disclose the engine builder's identity, the parts ordered, or the labor costs. As a result, we are left without a clear understanding of the work performed for the amount paid. Which I been in contact with the engineer builder Via text and phone and they have no knowledge of this engine being brought to them.

Boy, was I wrong, after dropping my vehicle off, they checked it out, made their recommendations, I agreed, and the next day the vehicle was ready. My wife and I picked up our grandkids, ran a few errands, and then went to pick up (PU) our vehicle. I went to the counter, the window was closed because of the time, paid my bill, got my key, went to my vehicle, started it up, turned the A/C on, waited a few minutes, then headed around the Auto Skills Center, and the A/C units which would usually be blowing some cool to cold air by now, was blowing warm air. I drove back around the building, parked in the same spot I picked the vehicle up from and went back to the counter, told him of my issue and asked if a manager was available. Since I knew the place well, I went to the Manager's Office, he was on the phone, I waited till he had hung up the phone and explained my concern with the vehicle that was "supposedly repaired." We both went out to my vehicle, he asked the representative behind the counter to find one of the technicians, as we arrived at my vehicle, the manager started up the vehicle and felt for himself how warm the air was being blown by the A/C unit. After checking the a/c inside, he turned off the vehicle and opened the hood. Along with the technician, the manager started pointing out issues that should have been addressed while repairing/replacing the a/c compressor. I was asked to leave my vehicle another day which ended up with me having to change my weekend plans, that is, since they ended up keeping my vehicle all weekend, I had to pick it up on Monday, 21 Apr 25. I couldn't get there until later in the day. Once I got my key, I got in my vehicle, turned the a/c Fort Mitchell, during my ten-mile drive, the vehicle never blew any cold air, the air coming out of the driver side vents could Barely be called "Cool Air." The passenger side air was a little cooler than the driver's side, it couldn't be called cold by any means. The Bright Spot at the Auto Skills Center is the Manager, I found him to be very Professional and Knowledgeable of the skill sets required for his position, I would give him a five-star review. After a couple weeks, I set up an appointment with Rivertown Ford in Columbus Georgia, they checked the system out, performed an Evac and Recharge of the a/c system. They found the system was ~1.35lbs of refrigerant , they charged the system to capacity of 1.50 lbs, system was now blowing below 50 deg. F., no leaks were found. Since, I was told the compressor had to be replaced and I agreed to it over the phone, I NEVER saw, nor, was I told that the Fort Benning Auto Skills Center service (DOES NOT Include A/C System Recover, Evacuate, and/or Recharge.) With this being said, I would Highly Recommend Not Using the Fort Benning Auto Skills Center for any Automotive Work without you knowing the details of what they are performing/what is Required.
