The bank certainly do not care for the welfare of the customers need access to banking during business hours. Also tried to set up Zelle but could not because it needed a verification code that Coamerica said will send or sent via email but nothing came thru email. Then to transfer fund, I will need to validate my email address which also I kept trying to get the code but nothing is emailed to me. This tells me that their IT system and department is really incompetent. Good thing and hopefully it is good that Fifth Third bank will take over Coamerica by September and hopefully wipe out these incompetencies.

I don't know what made this man think that he could yell at me simply for being next in line and walking up to him which was the next available teller. This man not only yelled but he was also very condescending in the remarks that he made. It is a tragedy that it bought out Pacific Premier, which was a good bank. First, the website is terrible. Second, the customer service is astonishingly incompetent. I have had to phone this stupid bank more times in 5 months than I've had to phone all the other banks (at least 16) I've dealt with over 50 years of banking. Upon phoning, there is a vastly inadequate phone tree choice, then they transfer me around from one employee to another, often without warning. So suddenly, after explaining why I've called and giving my account number and name, a new person is saying "Thank you for calling. How can I help you today?" Lately, every time I have called, the call is either disconnected or goes into limbo, with my end still connected but no one making any sound on the bank's end. Third, they freaked out when I transferred funds from my Columbia aka Umpqua account into an external account that I had already linked and verified through Columbia aka Umpqua's own linking process. They proclaimed fraud, invalidated my log-in, and left me on the hamster wheel of their telephone customer "service" yet again, ultimately saying they'd take several days to resolve it--after I verified that I had made the transfer! They pay good interest on one of my accounts, but, seriously, the interest just isn't worth the time and frustration of dealing with this incompetent little local bank using an alias and pretending to be a larger and more competent institution.
