This law office didn't sent my fiancé to be evaluated by a doctor, they were forcing me to goto a chiropractor who's receptionist tried to physically fight me because she was having a bad day. It severely impacted treatment on myself and my fiancé. Hard to get ahold of, didn't have time for us unless demanded by email over several voicemails. We ended up firing this law firm and they sure did respond right away for that and now we're with another firm. In the week we have been setup with this new firm my fiancé is finally going to see an orthopedic doctor one he should have seen back then. We have bulging disc in both our backs and neck and this law firm kept trying to detour treatment on the basis "it'll cost in the settlement" I don't know about most people but when I'm as severely injured as I am, daily tasks like laundry are hard. They were ready to move our case forward knowing we were better because I was sick and tired of the lack of help and communication but they want their 33.33% but I guess don't want to help get the care we need too. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. * After I signed, I received no updates for five months. * It took four months for him to send me to a pain relief doctor. The first doctor only worked Thursdays before 5 p.m., which didn't fit my schedule. The chiropractor showed me multiple attempts (four from their office and three from me) to contact Bertoldo's office before they finally approved a change. Even the doctor was surprised at the delay, since accident victims are usually seen immediately. * When my doctor recommended an MRI, Bertoldo's office dragged their feet again. I called repeatedly, and he even missed two scheduled phone call appointments with me, which I found extremely disrespectful. * Eventually, Bertoldo emailed me saying the MRI "wouldn't help my case." He insisted I drive to his office for an in-person meeting. Given his repeated failure to honor phone calls, I refused, saying I would only discuss matters by phone. Instead of apologizing or trying to rebuild trust, he became upset and dismissed me as a client. That's when things got worse: * During our initial consultation, he assured me I would never have to pay medical bills out of pocket. But after dismissing me, he told MEDICAL PROVIDERS TO FORWARD THEIRS BILLS DIRECT TO ME, leaving me responsible. * He had also made me believe my case wasn't strong and that I'd be unlikely to get full compensation. He even tried to pressure me into fixing cosmetic damage to my car, saying I'd otherwise receive very little. Thankfully, I found a new lawyer. With them, I received the maximum possible compensation without repairing my car. This proved everything Bertoldo told me was wrong. To make matters worse, he later attempted to take part of my settlement, even though I had kept the email he personally sent releasing me and any future lawyer from his fee. In summary, this firm showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and honesty throughout my case. They caused unnecessary stress, delayed my treatment, left me with medical bills, and misled me about my chances. I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for representation
