They found a number of issues, we informed Hillington Motor Company about them but they didn't really care. They took the car back in and replaced the brake pads (brake pads were fitted incorrectly - it was one of the issues and the cheapest one to fix). And they put new MOT on it, but didn't fix any of the other issues. My mum took the car to another garage to have it fully inspected and to have inspection report produced. The list of issues was pretty long... Few of these being issues with injectors, shock absorbers, dual mass and a lot more. She then took it to third garage to be 100% sure that the other garages are not 'just making these issues up to make my mum pay for things that don't need fixing' (in Hillington Motor Company's words). They found the same issues and estimated costs of repairs around £2,000. My mum showed these reports to Hillington Motor Company and asked to either issue her a full refund and take the car back or to fix these issues, but they refused both of these options (even though all of that happened within 30 days of purchase). AVOID!!!

When I tried to get any information from them they swore at me violently and called me names I will not repeat here. I was left with no option but to take the car or go to court. I don't have that time nor the money(after buying a car!) to do that. Avoid doing business with Charles Rooney Car Sales at all cost!!! Waste of time and money. They have no respect and ignore all aspects of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

I took the car straight to an independant garage who gave it a diagnostic test. The test uncovered the fact that there were many major parts of the engine 'missing'. These were parts that would have to have been removed by a mechanic, which if faulty, would stop the engine from running, BUT if removed the car will operate for a few months before finaly causing extensive problems. The price to replace the parts inc labour would have cost in xs of £2500. When i took the car back to the so called 'dealers', he told me 'we dont do refunds' and i was 'over the 30day warrenty'. After i educated this cowboy of my rights and the fact i had contacted the office of fair trading, he quickly gave me my money back to get me out of his way!!! 1 month later, the car is back on the forcourt at the same price, I would wager my mortgage that the repairs havnt been done! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DAYLIGHT ROBBER!!!

Forget that i have a wife in hospital and 2 young kids to get to school, that's not the staffs problem, their approach though was one of despondency and a total lack of professionalism which left me feeling a bit cold. I usually avoid negative reviews but for everyone's sake, be wary of this place. There are much better, Ford approved, independent garage options out there. Unless of course you're into non-returned phone calls, false promises and major inconvenience.

After deciding on a car costing £11,000 I was thrilled. This was until I had signed for the car and noticed a few problems,after calling the sales person up I was assured these small problems would be sorted promptly,this is where my problems really started! I had no contact from anyone from the company,I called them numerous times and each time I was told "The person is busy,they will call you straight back." None of these phone calls ever materialised. I spoke to both sales people and management at the branch and had no luck. In the end I paid for the problems to be fixed myself. This company will bend over backwards for you until you sign for the car then their customer service skills equal 0/10. Their sales team/staff are the most unhelpful and non customer care orientated I have ever come across. My advice is to avoid them at all costs,there are much better independent garages out their who have customer care levels 100 times better than this place!

Had to buy a new battery after 4 weeks due to the electrics running it down, had to get an inspector sent from finance company to check over the car who unfortunately did not find anything at that time even though everything was present. After a lot of money already spent and being told by this company that it's 'not their problem now' as I'd had it 4 weeks is just laughable. Now onto the 1st year Mot which cost £1500 needing glow plugs , new back box exhaust as the one on it had a massive hole in it even though I use it for domestic driving, not to mention the engine management and abs lights continually coming on. I have my local garage who has photos of underneath my car and diagnostics to back up it was a wreck before I touched it with wiring patched up appallingly, the whole underneath of this car and throughout the electrics were shot and this car had cost me in 1 year £10,000 with the £8000 car I traded in and the mot which I'm seeing nothing back for. worst of it is I still owe £10,000 for this heap of shit. DO NOT TOUCH THESE GUYS WITH A BARGEPOLE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

DO NOT purchase anything from this garage unless you want to be forking out cash for repairs or a new car within a week. The mechanics don't have a clue what goes where and can't be trusted to repair or even place together the cars they sell on.
