I paid $300 to list my car. It was never listed and the email/phone number for customer service is bunk. This is a Scam

Pushy saleman on the phone was quite annoying BUT I handled pretty well. I just posted a car for sale on craigslist and got a call from a lady, after few questions, she transferred me to this guy. He offered $349 for ad service, etc. I asked what his company name was so I could google. I then told him I will do research and he can call me back tomorrow. He started being pushy and said he will sale the car today. I told him he wasn't gonna get my ad money today until I research, and call me tomorrow. He proceed to ask what my plan is for selling the car, I told him it wasn't his concerned. He asked why hasn't your car sold yet. I said, I just posted few days ago and we're in coronavirus isolation, do you think people really go out to see it. He kept pushing..so I asked: "have you ever had people hung up", he said "many times". So I HUNG UP!!. LOL. read more

After posting my RV on Craigslist I got a call a few days later from Seller Networks claiming they could sell it quickly and above what I was asking. My BS detector was going off the rails so while speaking with the representative I googled and found this site. I told the rep about all the negative reviews (1 star) on yelp. They said they're not a restaurant. LOL, I informed them Yelp reviews more than restaurants. The rep then said they have an "A" rating with the BBB. So I visited the BBB while talking to the rep (takes like 10 seconds to pull up their profile). I then inform the rep that I have their BBB profile on my screen and it's says in big red letters "THIS BUSINESS IS NOT BBB ACCREDITED", there rating is "B" and they have well over a hundred complaints. The rep says that isn't true and that I'm looking at the wrong profile. I then confirm it's them by their address of "2550 E Desert Inn Rd #298 Las Vegas, NV 89121-3611"... The rep gets frustrated and accuses me off "not being serious" and hangs up on me. LOL. Oh my, what a bunch of scammers. How does a company like this exist? Waste of a lot of money. I don't think anyone looks at any of the 'sites' they say your car will be listed on. I couldn't find my car listing on line at all by googling the make, model, year, location, and exact price. The guy that sold me on listing with them told me I was selling my car for way too little on Craiglist and that it was worth a lot more because there was so much demand for that car in my area (especially with all the exposure it would get with them). Well I listed it at the price he recommended and got absolutely zero calls because it was about $2000 overpriced. This wasted precious time. Then I also listed it on CarGurus, KBB, Facebook, etc but had to keep dropping the price every other weekn WHAT A PAIN. After 3 months my car just got totaled parked on the street. I guess my insurance just bought the car! Maybe they will give me what SellerNetworks recommended. LOL! read more

**SCAM!! After posting my RV on Craigslist I got a call from Jason claiming he could get more money that what I am asking. I am not one to fall for scams like this but he is a very good salesman!! He assured me that he would sell my RV before the weekend is up because it is a "big" weekend for RV sales (Memorial Day weekend). I was unable to do my own research because he didn't give me the correct company name. He told me a different website to look up. It wasn't until my credit card was charged that I saw "network sellers". I am not one to fall for scams like this but with the wrong information I was unable to do the correct research. I said that I already have a lot of messages and she started to ask why hasn't it been sold yet ????? Why did I listen to this guy's BS? Please listen to me...Do not give these guys any money! It's a complete SCAM! I spoke with a guy named Shannon who told me everything I wanted to hear, and promised me the moon & the stars. Well, I should've checked Yelp first. I can't believe I got so suckered. I have an amazing car to sell (2015 Audi A3 convertible with only 10,000 miles, if anyone is interested :) and I thought that these guys were professionals and they could do a better job than me. I posted on craigslist and got about 10-15 calls. I signed up with these guys and got ZERO. I mean, not 1 lead, not 1 call...nothing. I wrote to them several times asking for a refund...and nothing! I was told there is a huge market for my car and it would most likely sell in under 2 weeks. I was given a suggested price and I was told that my car was a sure sell because of the low miles and perfect condition. Shannon was so positive that I would benefit from his services, but failed to mention that they post on the most obscure and unrelated sites and don't bother with the main ones like autotrader! I feel like this has been a scam right from the start. I still have my car, and have had to extend my lease 3 times! 3 months later and still, not 1 lead, not 1 call, not 1 message! To give these charlatans a "B" rating is criminal on the part of the BBB. 1) They harass - I have received no fewer than 50 unsolicited contacts from Seller Networks from DIFFERENT TELEPHONE NUMBERS. What legitimate business uses the deception of that volume of disparate phone numbers for contact? 2) They call or text and do not identify themselves. What legitimate business does not leave a message? 3) Almost every (and definitely ALL of mine) Craigslist posts are emblazoned with "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers." What legitimate business ignores that clear, concise warning to offer those not wishing it a blatantly "unsolicited service or offer?" 4) When you call Seller Networks, their representatives do not even identify their company upon answering. What legitimate business behaves in such an unprofessional manner? 5) When I tell them that they are in violation of the National Do Not Call Registry, they lie, use abusive, vulgar language or hang up on me. One word. SCAM. I would give this 0 stars if I could. I posted an ad for my motorcycle on craigslist and all of a sudden I receive a call from a man that seemed to be reading from a script and forgot what he had already told me... "Uh, oh, did I mention that you can save so much money by going through us? Did I mention that we will never charge more than $300.00?" Sketchy sign number one.. I proceeded to go through with it and was told by a Mr. Eli Katzmann (who, to this day, has yet to call me back months later) saying that if my bike had not sold within a month, "they'd start a more aggressive campaign to sell the bike..." Never happened. Never heard back from him. Several days later, my profiles for the bike had been posted on a few websites but that was all. No follow up. No contact with these people for over half a year now... Save yourself $300, and put on the ads to various websites (cycletrader, craigslist, etc.) yourself. read more

Ditto to most of the reviews. After listing on RV Trader a salesperson called me with a great pitch. Unfortunately that's all it was. After spending hundreds of dollars I received absolutely no interest probably because they list on obscure sites. They are all talk and no action. Incidentally, they bad-mouthed RV Trader as a dealer site but I received five interested calls from RV Trader and none from Seller Networks. This is a scam! read more

Just received a cold call from this company. After being steam-rolled trying to ask questions to the original woman, I was transferred to a man meant to determine the proper selling price of my vehicle. After reading some of these reviews and mentioning that I wasn't sure about using this company, the man said (and I quote) "my question to you, Rachel, is why didn't you tell this to the woman you just spoke to? Total ripoff. Called me from a Craigs List ad. I had chosen not to be contacted by vendors but they did anyway, in violation of CL terms of use (complaint going to CL as well). I canceled within a few hours after signing up but they would not honor it. I contacted them immediately by phone, email, and on their web site. Heard nothing until three days had passed, then they told me the ads had been bought and placed so I was committed. First off, that is B.S. - they buy the ad space in bulk and no one incurred expense for me. Second - I contacted them well before anyone took any action on my ad. They just kept my money and did nothing. This is not merely a poor service - it is designed as a scam. They do not make money buy helping people sell cars. It was suspect from the start but after telling what great results they have but expecting their money up front raised a huge red flag. Seller Network works by scanning Craigslist ads and then contacts the seller (ignoring the no soliciting disclaimer oh the ad...) and tells them they will list their vehicle on a plethora of high traffic websites (throwing out random ones and making it sound great) all for a flat fee and then all but promise it will sell within 30-45 days. I said to heck with it, I'll give it a whirl, as I was reassured I could get a refund. I later got an email with my vehicle being posted on obscure websites, most of which have copyrights from 2015 or older (only 1 of the websites had a current copyright date). The description was what I had typed in my own ad, except broken up a little bit. They're a marketing agency and don't even refine your ad? I emailed 2 hours after buying the service and requested a refund; no response. I called a few days later to see what was going on; was told a supervisor would call me. I received a call from a supervisor which essentially culminated to "sorry, but that's how it is!" A stand-up company doesn't refuse refunds. It's an obvious cash-grab. In a nutshell, they sell you on a simple solution with alleged good results but are just another scam looking for a quick buck. read more

I was contacted by this group immediately after posting my car to Craigslist and AutoTrader. Let me be clear, I have not used this service. But I was really considering it and here is why: I received several emails and several calls, all very polite, so after my car had not sold for a month or two I answered the next call from them. The man I spoke with was confident that the company could help me so I listened. After I acknowledged that the service sounded helpful he transferred me to another department that had the ability to finalize the deal. This time a woman picked up the line and she began to run me through the all the great sounding actions they were going to take and I was ready to believe that $300 was a fair price for this service. But after a couple minutes of talking and a request from me for an email with some additional information a couple red flags had begun to arise. -She avoided mentioning the websites my car would be posted on other than saying it will be on the front page of google. -Neither individual mentioned the name of the company after the first mention when I took the call. More over, I never heard that "here at Seller Networks we promise...". It all seemed like just these two individuals were making a sale not a business transaction. -They both disregarded my statements that the car needs work and thought the car should sell at an even higher price. The reason I am posting this is because I am not going to use this service after reading other reviews by people who actually did pay for the service and regretted having done so. I am thankful for everyone who wrote their experience because it saved me from going down that road as well. read more

I was driving down the road one Thursday afternoon with my mind distracted by other problems when I received their phone call offering to do all of these things to sell my car for me. They made it sound great so I gave them my credit card info and accepted their deal. That night I looked at their reviews and saw that it is a scam where the company will take your money and do nothing. I called them the next day, Friday less than 24 hours later, and told them I wanted to cancel. Was told, "we have already done too much for you to cancel now". (What ever happened to the 3 day buyers remorse clause?) Anyway, I disputed the charge to my Discover card but ultimately learned they had sent Discover some documentation that showed the car was listed on some website somewhere so they had completed their obligation and deserved to be paid. If they did anything, it was totally ineffectual because, over the next almost 3 months, I never received a single indication of interest from a single potential buyer through whatever "super effort" they made. So...all I have for this $210 monetary investment plus several hours of my time, is the wisdom that a person should NEVER answer unsolicited phone calls because they are probably unscrupulous people running some kind of scam. Discover says there is nothing that can be done. They have paid these people and there is apparently nothing that I can do except try to warn other potential victims before they are scammed. There really should be a negative indicator as Seller Networks does not even deserve a one star rating. I wish I didn't even take the call - a super shady and long drawn out high-pressure sales pitch is all it was. I ended up selling my vehicle just fine and very quickly and even removed all craigslist ads immediately, but they just keep on calling me several times a day. I asked the rep to stop calling me since it's not even for sale anymore and she just got a major attitude and said someone will call me again later then - now that just seems like harassment! My car has been listed on Seller Networks since Aug 2017. I was contacted by their sales people from a Craiglist ad I posted and I had checked the box that I didn't want any commercial contacts. I was pitched that they could sell my car for about $2000 more than the KBB price and it would be listed on 20 common websites selling cars including Autotrader and EBAY motors. I have not received one contact from anyone that saw the car on any site other than the Craiglist Ad. Curious why not I went searching on 7 of the most common auto sales websites, several of which Sellers Network claims to use and I could not even find my own car listing. My car had low mileage( 40k under average), clean title and carfax and if their network did as it said it should have sold. Do not do business with Seller Networks, in my opinion they are just a scam. Other business names they use, as listed on the BBB site; Alternate Business Names Seller Networks ClassicCarSellerNetwork CycleSellerNetwork Tradeco Media Group RVSellerNetwork BoatSellerNetwork Certified Auto Network EquipmentSellerNetwork After a couple phone calls and waiting all morning for Jasmine to call I finally got a call back and they agreed to a 50% refund within 10 Business days. If I do not get a refund consider this a 1 star review. Update. Network Sellers called back and said they can't refund the money because the credit card company took the 299 bucks back. Called CC company and they said that is not correct, they still have the 299 bucks. They lied again. read more

They take your money and disappear, when you call them they never let you talk to your original person and tell you the manager , which they can't give you a name or number for, will call you sometime. Seller Networks is a total Scam. I listed my car through them on March 8th. They asked to list about $2000 above the private party price. I never got a call from any party ever through seller networks so I called them few times and asked them why I am not getting any calls. And always their response was, "We screen the buyers but none has passed their screening". Then I asked them to provide me a list of buyers or count of how many have come through that they have screened and they said they dont keep that info. So it smells of total scam. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED by THEM. PREFER TO LIST THRU CRAIGSLIST, FACEBOOK or LETGO, etc. I wasted $300 but you can stay away from them. read more
