Alyssa was very nice to talk to, she was very eager to help in any way she could, helped me pick out jewelry, priced and repriced for different jewelry combos, gave very helpful insight on aftercare (and they have jewelry changing services). She also went out of her way to send me a picture of the pieces I was interested in for my second visit, and held them for me until the day of my appointment. She has a really friendly and sweet energy that makes you feel both comfortable and informed. Robert is THEE piercer. Really nice guy, personable, experienced, a true artist. He's also traveled a lot so he knows cool little cultural facts, has cool stories, and has pierced in a lot of different places. He walked me through a lot and crossed all the t's (changing gloves, sterilizing, etc.) like it was second nature. He told me exactly what he was doing as he was doing it so I knew what was happening even if I couldn't see it in my line of vision. He designed the shape and I let him choose where the different pieces went so I'd say he's got the style element too. He's really passionate about what he does and very determined to make sure you leave with all the instruction on aftercare you need to make sure your body stays healthy, like down to the anatomy of it all. I left with so much positive energy because that's just the kind of place it is. If anyone's ever looking to get pierced in the DMV area, I'd say it's more than worth the drive. Apparently the owner was about to close the store, but a girl who came in infront of me wanted a piercing and I came in right after her. No problem at all. Tommy was able to do my piercing. I got a Rook and he answered all of my questions and was patient with me as he prepared for the piercing. $60 for all piercings. ($40 for the piercing, $10 for the jewlery and $10 for the after care) I paid with a debit card and left with some cleaning solution. He does walk in piercings on Fridays ONLY. All other days are by appointment as his shop does a lot of tattoos. Almost a week later, and I'm satisfied with the outcome!

Seth was remarkably patient and worked with me to meet my requests on every last detail (size, aspect ratio, position, ink). (Embarrassingly, I asked him if we could move the template we transferred onto my skin 5 times for one tattoo, having to wipe it away and reapply it. It would have driven basically anyone crazy, but Seth was laid-back and understanding throughout.) The price was also very reasonable. As others have mentioned the private studio was clean and seemed well organized. Honestly, vibe at the studio is not something I care about (I just want a great looking, safe tattoo), but it did have a nice feel. In my case, I wanted something very specific (and relatively simple), rather than something creative from the artist. I got exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Since this was my first, Seth also explained every step of the process to me as we went. In terms of safety, I saw all his new, packaged needles. (One thing I didn't verify was how he sterilized any reusable parts. ...something you could do yourself if you're inclined.) I'll definitely return to Seth for any future tattoos.

Let me just say the environment is cool and calm very inviting and really innovative in the way that it looks with their style of personality. The items that they sell there for nose piercings are made out of titanium, which is the better material to use to avoid infection. I like the way that they take pride and passion into ensuring that the customers are serviced well and the equipment and material being used is clean and sterile. My piercer's name was Hannah and they were amazing. They gave me so much information before during and after the procedure and was even available for post care, questions and communication. The cost of the nose ring was $35 and the nose ring was another 40. Well worth the cost so that you don't have any problems or potential scarring with this piercing. It looks amazing and I will definitely be going back for more piercings and maybe even a tattoo. Their shop is on the corner of a little quaint Street in Annapolis. I didn't have to wait too long and everyone was super nice.

Thankfully I had Scott as my piercer who explained that aligning two piercings facing the same direction on my 3D potato-chip surface of an ear takes real skill, care, and consideration. Thankfully Scott had all of these, and I'm really grateful to have stumbled upon this shop. Scott was exceptional in explaining the whole process and prepared me well for the big ouch and the aftercare. I really worried about the healing process because of various reddit posters, however the magic spray (hypochlorous acid + saline) he sent me home with has made the recovery a breeze. I've had the piercing for a week, and I forgot it was there after the first 36 hours. No inflammation or any signs of irritation. I'm only going to Scott for any future work. The only con of coming to Scott is that you'll want more piercings because he does such a good job and made the recovery so easy. He's also a cool and courteous dude. 10/10
