I have been there twice and the lady who works the floor seems very uninterested. She said she would put some bath tile and floor tile scenarios together and call me so I could come back in to make my selection. Neither time did she ever call me back to come in. Recently had our kitchen and tv rooms flooring replaced. We got the flooring from Sellers Tile . They also provided the installation which was done by Eddie and his partner. Extremely efficient and incredibly polite. They finished in three days and did a wonderful job. Kudos to all. read more

Stay far far away from Sellers Tile here in Tallahassee. The woman who helped me was either inexperienced or simply did not care. We needed coordinating trim pieces for LVP that we have, and instead of taking the time to go through samples of LVP that they sell to find the best color-match, she handed me a sample board from VersaTrim. I chose a color and she agreed that it was a good match with the LVP I brought in for this purpose. Then she was confused and did not know what t-molding/transition would work with LVP. After consulting on the phone with the VersaTrim rep, they decided on their standard t-molding, which was exactly the WRONG product. As she ordered it she told me it was a special order and that special orders were nonreturnable. Not having experience with LVP and the required trim pieces, I had to trust her recommendation. I picked up the pieces when they came in, and the warehouse people gave them to me unwrapped, unprotected and taped together with wide blue painter's tape. As soon as I got them home, I realized that the color was way off and the t-molding would NOT work with LVP. I took them back the very next day to show Sellers the incorrect fitment of the t-molding, and the bad color-match (both issues were not my fault in any way, shape or form). After about 4 days of Sellers allegedly trying to work with VersaTrim about returning the incorrect and off color product, I was told that there would be a restocking fee and a return freight charge for an incorrect order that clearly was NOT MY FAULT. I was given a partial refund that was a fraction of what I paid for the order. This didn't cost Sellers anything and I lost money. I will add that during one phone conversation, as an excuse as to why she used VersaTrim, was because the alternative was to pull out samples of the LVP they sold to find a good match, and that it would involve "about 500 samples" (her words). I have two things to say: 1) Isn't that her JOB?? 2) Is she so unfamiliar with their products that she couldn't immediately go to a colorway and pull those? I would have gladly gone through them myself, but it was definitely not offered. Sellers Tile utilizes bad business practices and does not care at all about the customer. Go somewhere else and protect your wallet by staying far far away from Sellers Tile - they are a nightmare to deal with. read more

I will start at the beginning as I went in to pay for the bathroom countertop and you have to walk to the back of the store to find somebody to help you. You have to speak first and ask for the person who is handling your project. Whatever happened to someone welcoming a customer when they enter the store? Paid for the service and they scheduled a fabricator to come to my home. The times changed several times which was okay. The day of the appointment for the fabricator he arrived 20 minutes late. He was here no longer than 30 minutes then asked to use the bathroom. The main bathroom was non-functioning due to tornado damage so he would have to go through my personal bedroom into my bathroom. It made me feel uncomfortable because I was not expecting anyone to use my bathroom. Usually workers don't ask to go the bathroom, especially since he was here for only less than 30 minutes. Workers should go before they arrive or leave and go to a bathroom off premises. I called my sales person and due to their awful phone system that never allows you speak to a person. You always have to leave a message which they don't get their messages so they don't call you back. Then the salesperson asks what number did you call? Well, I called the Seller's Tile number and when it mentioned your name and prompted me I punched in your prompt several times and left several messages and never received a call back. Called the manager to to address this concern and he agreed that it was a terrible phone system and he hated it. Still no call back from the salesperson after I had complained to the manager of the store. When the countertop was ready the installers set a time but showed up an hour early. No call ahead saying that there had been a cancellation and could they come an hour early? No heads up call just showed up. Was not ready to receive them and they made me feel uncomfortable. So they went to another job and then came back a few hours later. Installed the countertop and they had to use a piece of wood to brace the sink. They did not put a layer to protect the piece of wood that was touching the bottom of the brand new custom cabinet to avoid scratching the bottom of the new cabinet. The installer did not explain that it needed to set for 48 hours before the plumber could come in. Thankfully on my own I had scheduled the plumber 2 days after the countertop installation. The countertop looks beautiful, however. Are oblivious to providing basic common courtesy and basic customer service. And when you speak to them about it, there's always an excuse and they are oblivious to wanting to correct the situations. I'm alerting future customers what to expect and to be proactive to avoid the twists and turns regarding the basic lack of customer service. read more

Today I was shopping for tile for my kitchen. I went into Sellers Tile to see what they offered. I have no complaints on the large selection they offer. What I do have a complaint on is how I was treated and ignored. Now, I do admit I was not looking my best, but I didn't look bad either. There were two ladies on the floor and one in the office. These ladies' past within inches of me and never spoke. Not a good morning or hello. I was in the store for an hour and during that time they were busy looking at videos of a grandchild and talking. At one point a couple came in and the younger lady jumped on helping them. When I did find tile that I liked and looked for the ladies and they were nowhere to be found. These ladies gave me the impression that they didn't think I was worth any effort. So, I took pictures of the tile and manufacture and went down the road. Got what I needed elsewhere. I really don't like snobs. read more

I have not been to a lot of tile stores, so I can't really compare it to others in the area. But they seemed to have a wide variety of different tiles as well as some selection for wood/wood-like floor and carpeting. See the pictures to get an idea of the size of the show room and the variety in the displays. Service could have been better. It took us a while to get the attention of anyone, and when we did, I was not impressed. He didn't seem to really be listening or understanding our questions, even though he seemed to sincere in his desire to help. Then, oddly, he asked us what we were cooking for supper. "Um, well, roast chicken, actually. So does this tile come in a darker color?" read more

Outstanding in so many ways! We built a DIY beverage bar and wanted a granite countertop to finish the project. Salesman Alex Rigas was exceptionally helpful in guiding us to find granite to match our existing quartz countertops. Mr. Orlando used state-of-the-art easer technology to measure the template, and Jason, Ricardo, and Kenny completed the installation in a highly professional manner. When I went to other granite dealers, I was treated like an annoying little gnat with a project too small for their precious time. Sellers Tile, however, treated me extremely well and did not differentiate between my small order and other, larger orders. I highly recommend this company and applaud them for such caring employees. Not happy. Every day as I clean my counters, the two large seams make me madder. I did not see a layout for the granite before it was cut, but expected it to be seamed at the sink with small cuts. Nope. On either side of sink are counter width cuts in the beautiful white granite with gray caulking. My island is one piece with no cuts and the two counter pieces are no larger than half of the island size. Added to that, the granite was cracked at the sink's edge when we moved back in. Who did it? The cabinet guys, the new dishwasher installer, the painters? If the middle section needed to be larger, why did it crack? My contractor said it sure did not look like Sellers' work. The last time I bought from them the tile around my tub crumbled. Even though they replaced it, this now is enough for me. They sent a full price replacement statement for the kitchen when contacted. read more

I used Seller's for a home renovation I did. They were great. They showed us lots of different types of carpet and counters that fit in our budget. Unlike the other review of them, I found their service to be great from the moment I walked in the door. They were really responsive as we went through our project. Great prices and a first rate installation. We will be back and would strongly recommend them. read more

I fell in Seller's Tile store in April. The employees stayed at the back of the store while I was on the floor crying in pain unable to get up. I cut my arm on the flooring on the way down and had to ask my sister to go to the car to get the first aid kit so I could clean and bandage myself. Finally my sister had to ask for someone to help me up as I could not get up on my own. We spend 7 hours at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Two days later we went back and met with Mr. Thomas Tharpe who assured us that he saw no problem paying my out of pocket expenses. I received a letter today that they will not do this. BUYER BEWARE!!! They do NOT care about customers. read more

The hardwood that was ordered did not match the sample, nor my previously installed floors. The excuse was that it was a different manufacturing run. But the floors are very different. My independent installer confirmed and agreed that the floors did not match and had physical differences. Sellers would not stand behind their product and refused to return the floors. Turns out it was a cheap product from China. read more
