My wife and I were looking for a new car, and unfortunately decided to go to the selma auto mall due to their big selection. My wife told our sales person that the number one thing we are looking for is a comfortable drivers seat due to her herniated disc. Secondly the vechicle had to have blue tooth. So on and so on it had to be a sedan, dark in color, dark cloth seats, and good gas mileage. So we expected to only be shown the vechicles that met the criteria. It seemed to be great he was passing up cars that didn't have our features we wanted. So it came down to a 2014 nissan sentra sv. We test drove it and enjoyed the comfortable ride, unfortunately we didn't try to pair it to our phones while on the test drive. THIS CAR DID NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH, and we were not informed of this until all the paperwork was signed and had the keys in our hands. While they were showing us where all the buttons were the sales associate told us that they found out that this car does not have bluetooth, but since he knew it was a big sale point for us that they would install it free of charge, and we should come back when the part is in. They promised it would be exactly like the car had come with the Bluetooth. Well the part came in, and my wife took the car in to get the blue tooth installed. When the car was done we found out they took out the sunglass holder and installed a box with a speaker in it..... This is not the blue tooth we were looking for, nor was it what they promised would be installed. We wanted it to listen to pandora, make calls, and listen to our gps while driving. The box they installed only makes and receives calls, but you still must use your actual phone in order to call someone or see who is calling you. After many phone calls and many lies about what they could and couldn't do, our only option is to go back in and have the pointless box removed so we can at least get our sunglasses holder back, but we're still left without Bluetooth. By the way for you women. If you're a woman, after the sale prepare to get treated like you know nothing! My wife has been talked down to more than once by the sales team. I'm really glad I'm only 30 so i can spend the rest of my life 1) never buying a car from selma auto mall 2) telling everyone and their mother to never trust selma auto mall! Emailed them to inquire about a car. They emailed me back so many times that it was almost borderline harassment. Went to the appointment, picked the car to test drive and then started the negotiations. Half way through talking numbers, the Assistant Manager (forgot his name) came in to tell us the car was just sold. That same Assistant Manager also kept commenting on my body which bordered on harassment and made me feel very awkward. After me asking him why they would sale a car we were going to buy, he told me to be quiet and let him talk. He was very rude! Then another guy comes out to tell us they could trade for the car we wanted from another lot but it would be another 2,000 dollars!! They are crooks and very deceptive! They also add hidden fees for various things like lojack and cilajet. Left that shady place and drove to Visalia Nissan where the people there were amazing and very helpful. Also, Visalia Nissan does not add on the fees for lojack and ciljet, which saved us 2,300 dollars compared to Selma Nissan. We bought a higher model vehicle than the one we were going to get in Selma for a cheaper price. DO NOT GO TO SELMA NISSAN!!!!!!!! Crystal called me the next morning & left me a voicemail I called her back & got her voicemail -later in the evening I get a call from a Joanna & I answered made an appt. all with her asking to ONLY see that vehicle if it's not available let me know as I'm driving from out of town. She assured me it was -she even sent me a confirmation text & I replied I was on my way. I get there and Joanna never came out -a guy Fabian came out said the car was just sold ! On May 10, 2021 I took my 2018 dodge grand Caravan to selma Nissan the check engine light was in I told them it was a misfire in cylinder 4, they said the spark plugs in the cylinders were fine that they needed to terret down more and that I needed to pay them $2600 to do the teardown and if the problem was covered by the warranty that the warranty would cover the $2600 I spoke to Matt the sales manager and he said after two days worth of talking he said that they would go ahead and take care of it but when they tore it down they found out the car had a crackhead in the meantime I had to rent a car and the rental cost me for the 17 days they had the car the rental cost me $1015.54 Matt had said that they would reimburse me for it and now they're telling me they aren't going to reimburse me for it that I'm only being raised reimburse for five days, I will never do business with them again they are liers well at least the sales manager is, they sell you an extended warranty then want you to pay so wrong read more

In and out in an hour: driving up the 99 freeway today, my "maintenance" notifications lit up, and I was able to stop at Selma Nissan. It was only 98 degrees out, and when I drove in to the service entry, both Ismael and Luis greeted me outside. They treated me like a king, and quickly ran my '15 Murano into a service bay. I was fully set on getting a Honda but I ended up coming into Selma Nissan as a favor to a friend. I worked with Alex and he was great. He presented me a Nissan Altima and completed blew me away with it. The service was great they managed to get me a great deal! And even after I signed papers and drove off in my car they contacted me 2 weeks later to tell me they found someone to finance me for a lower interest rate! They make a deal and then recind the it with lame excuses: "he had no business making that deal; he's not authorized," "gee, I'm sorry you had to wait an hour and a half ", " the person who made the deal won't come out and talk to you," "did you try carmax to sell your vehicle?" Really? This was a garaged Buick, 48,000 miles, and clean. "We don't have a market for your vehicle." Then why didn't you tell us that long before now? It was your guy that did the appraisal and the offer. This is no way to do business. We bought a used Dodge Grand Caravan at the beginning of May. The whole process was smooth, even though my toddler was being the typical terror that 2 year olds are (My apologies to everyone involved.) We were able to get a reasonable payment, a good interest rate and a term we could live with. All fine and dandy. About a week later I got a call back from Joe, our sales person. My son was buying a new car and they tried to slip in a $1000 LoJack theft system without telling him. My son could not understand why the payments were higher until he saw the finance manger filling out the LoJack registration. That is when my son told him he wasn't paying for that. At first they were reluctant to remove it but finally removed the LoJack system from the car. Very deceptive dealership I will never buy another car from them again....buyer beware! read more

They deceived me by not telling me the monthly payment included an extended warranty fee of $2999 divided up amongst five years' worth of payments. I didn't realize that until the next day after I signed the contract. If I factor out the extended warranty fee from my monthly payment, then my payment would be $70 less. Watch out for deceiving sales people who give you a monthly price quote based on your credit, but deceive you by not telling you the payment quote includes an extended warranty fee. Have the car sales person show in writing all the charges incorporated into your payment quote such as principal, interest, EXTENDED WARRANTY, etc. read more

I had purchased a Nissan battery 8/17 with a supposed 84 month warranty. When I drove all the way to the dealership on my day off (I wasn't even greeted by the guy who sits behind the desk by the way) I let him know my battery was defective as in it is leaking and I would like a replacement. He didn't even bother looking up when I purchased it or anything. All he said was if it's not dead. We can't do anything with it. I'm really agitated with the level of service I have been receiving here since I bought my Nissan Altima and still making payments to this day. They were very nice during the time I was looking to buy but once u sign the contract. Forget it. Don't expect a smile or a greeting upon walking into the service Dept. You will only get one if u are looking to buy a car. I'm so irritated with the overall level of customer service I can pull my hair out. But I'm not going to let this ruin my day. I will purchase a battery from Chevrolet in Sanger. Although I would have bought a new one today had he acted like he gave a sh*t about my battery issue. The true professionals are at Sequoia Chevrolet in Sanger. From the administration office to the guys working on the cars. I will buy a car there next time. read more

I went into this dealership when my service engine light came on. I was told by their tech that I had a blown head gasket, and given a quote of $1265.00, $64.00 for parts the remainder for labor. Other than the service engine light being on, the car was running ok, so I chose to drive it to my local mechanic, whom I trust completely. Come to find out it was a coil; cost me $126.00 parts and labor. Be very alert and very wary if you take your car there to be repaired! read more

We went here looking at the possibility of getting a family car. We talked to Ronnie Brewer and he was very helpful and set us up with Justin. They told us they would help us find exactly what we wanted and if they didn't have it they would happily order it for us. We looked at the Nissan Rogue and we were actually able to afford more than we originally planned on spending because they worked with us to get the monthly payment we wanted. I purchased a new 2017 Hyundai Elantra and was pleased with the offer I was given. For a new car with about 50 miles on it I got a really good price. Do not buy from here! They don't even deserve one star! They will not work with you. I was paying cash for a car and they wouldn't even bring their asking price down one dollar! I thought "dealing" was a two-way street, but I would put an offer out there and they would just say no instead of putting out a counter offer. They kept telling me my budget couldn't get me the car I wanted, but I knew they were just being unreasonable. So when I told them I had found the exact same car in a different color at another dealership and it was in my price range they actually had the nerve to call that dealership and pose as a customer wanting that same car. Then they even revealed to the dealer that they were Selma Nissan and wanted to know how much that dealer was going to sell that car to me for. I mean how more unprofessional can you get? Much more apparently because they then had the audacity to tell the other dealer that they couldn't sell me that car for that cheap. When the dealer who had found me my car for such an awesome price called me to tell me what Selma Nissan had done I was horrified to think I almost had done business with them! The other dealer had told me he had never experienced that in all of his years of being in business. Staff is over bearing on trying to get a car sold that if they don't want to buy your trade they will actually run your credit to try and get you into another car and have 2 car payments. There is a sales guy that is a little younger, he drives a Mustang, stay away from him. He is your "dirt back road salesman" I would highly suggest working with someone else if he comes up to you. read more

Contacted them after looking threw there reviews because I was interested in a truck they had and did't not want to drive 3 hours to get there and find out they sold it like other reviews have said happened to them so I called, and emailed them I revived very late response or call back if they even called back I had to speak to 3 different people even a "manager" to look into the vehicle I was interested in to assure they still had it one could not find it on the property so we must have sold it he said,the other said they would call me back soon as they knew if it was available never called back the "internet sales consultant" would only let me know she had many vehicles of same make and model to choose from and I let her know multiple times of a specific one even gave her there"stock" number for her to only reply come on in to see out large inventory not assuring if they had that vehicle or not asked her for listings on there other same vehicle as I didn't see any on there website never received it. I have been looking around at many dealerships for past 2 weeks this is the only one that stands out to me as not knowing what they are doing all others have been very professional and helpful these people need to be trained on what they are doing! read more

My experience with Selma Nissan was a bit overwhelming, in a good sense! I walked in on a Saturday without any expectations. I was interested in two models and was able to take a few different vehicles for a test drive. Mind that this was my FIRST time buying a car, so I had no idea what to expect from the dealership. I've heard of really bad experiences in which people had issues after purchasing their vehicles (e.g. mechanical, financial, etc.). Luckily this wasn't the case for me, my car runs great and everybody that I talked to on the lot was patient with me. I highly recommend that you set up an appointment with Alex Cisneros if you're interested in visiting Selma Nissan. He was really personable and was able to answer my questions. Again, this was my first time buying a car so I was really hesitant and was not expecting to be able to leave with a brand new Nissan Versa Note SV, WITHOUT a consignor. I definitely think that I could have gotten the car at a lower price but keep in mind that I walked in thinking that the best APR for my credit score would be above 12% or that I simply wouldn't be approved for a loan. Alex and Jorge were patient and were able to work with me, they lowered the APR and added a few things free of charge. Alex has also kept in contact with me to check in and see if I'm still happy with my car or if I have any concerns, which I really appreciate as this is my first car and I want to make sure that I know as much as I can. read more

I went to Selma Nissan to get an oil change and to have my radio, window and set warmers looked at. I have taken my car in for two of the three problems before. When I explained to the service rep what I needed he proceeded to tell me about my deductible and diagnostic charge. This was the first time I had ever seen this Rep in all the time I have taken my car here. I informed him that I had never been told anything about a diagnostic charge. He proceeded to inform me that they would charge me for the diagnostic. I asked to speak with a manager because two of the problems were the same problems they had seen my car for and I was not charged anything. The Rep paged for an Edgar and after waiting no Edgar showed up. So he paged again and then walked away to help another customer. The Rep then came back and asked me if Edgar came up and I told him no One of the mechanics came into the office and the Rep asked him if he had seen Edgar and the mechanic said yes he is sitting in the office. The mechanic walked over to the office and started to talk to the guy sitting at the desk. I looked over and they were looking in the direction of the service area. Edgar who was sitting at the desk the whole time he was being paged came over and the Rep explained to him what was going on. The Rep then continued to help another customer. Edgar then stated to me the Rep is correct. I then told Edgar that I had brought my car many times and have not been told about a diagnostic charge the problem was fixed so how come all of a sudden I am being told about a charge. Edgar then stated to me "do you think your warranty is going to last forever?" I stated to him I am not dumb I understand how my warranty works. The customer who was standing there then stated "I think she understands that." Edgar then stated " I will look into why you have brought your car in and I will get back to you." He also informed me that he was just the acting manager at that time. All though he said he would not charge me the diagnostic fee if they had to charge it that does not take away how he humiliated. This was so humiliating, he not only challenged my intelligence but challenged them in front of another customer. Then when I asked the receptionist for the number to make a complaint she provided me with a number however the number was to Nissan headquarters. When I spoke to Nissan headquarters they informed me I would not be informed of the results of the written complaint. However they also informed me that the dealerships are privately owned and I could also contact the general manager. So to me it sounds like I should have been provided with the general manager office than Nissan. Cause the complaint was on someone who works at the dealership. This is such bad customer service all the way around. I believe that if I was a man I would have not been spoke to in that manner. I will not be taking my car back to this dealership and any of the other Nissans in my family. read more
