It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.

I took my $200 Jones black business suite in there to be dry cleaned after returning from a business trip. When I picked it up, the paints weren't cleaned and there was a button missing on the cuffs and the lining on the cuffs was ripped. I picked it up the second time and, no kidding, the other cuff button was missing and the lining there was always ripped. I also noticed that there were racing strips down both paints legs and around the waste-band. The owner Shawn, tried to tell me that it was the suite's polyester blend that was the problem, and that he'd try to find the buttons and work on the suite. The 3rd time, there were 2 different buttons sewn on the cuffs that didn't match the other buttons, and they were sewn on with BROWN thread. Still the racing stripes shown shinny and once again, Shawn said he'd look for the buttons but he was clearly getting irritated with ME. The 4th time I picked it up, the buttons and lining were fixed, the paints were wrinkled and the racing stripes looked worse. Shawn told me it was because they hard-pressed it which was normal. I complained again that the suite looked far worse then it did before I had him dry cleaned it, and he suggested I take my business elsewhere. Hi only apology was "I'm sorry Mrs. Phillips, but I do this 8 hours a day!" Some apology! This guy obviously is burnt out but I caution everyone to find a dry cleaners who knows the business of cleaning expensive suites so you don't end up in the same boat.
