We have an abundance of parks; Shore Road, Leif Erickson, John Paul Jones and Owl's Head to name a few. Great for families to enjoy a day at the park. Our community outreach is top notch; Salvation Army, Bay Ridge Community Center. Our schools also are impactful, Fort Hamilton High, Xaverian, William McKinley Our restaurants offer diversity from Italian ( Campania, Brooklyn Roots) to Indian ( Mint Bay) to Mexican ( Coszcal de Allende) to Chinese ( Rose Bowl); these are a few of my favorites. If you love to golf Dyker Heights is a great place to tee off as well as utilize as a venue for special events. And our City Councilman, Justin Brennan and Senator Andrew Gounardes always have Bay Ridgians' best interests at heart. Today as a community we gathered to remember our veterans who served via the 158th Memorial Day parade. I'm sharing some photos from today to show how strong our community is in Fort Hamilton. If you haven't visited Bay Ridge, please come and Welcome!

The service is alright, nothing worth noting. Lines can get long. I never really see more than 2 cashiers going -- it moves fast, though. I've also used the facility's gym. It's pretty nice... I was surprised. Clean, neat, not noisy and not busy. Just how I like it. You need a military ID to get in. If you bring a civilian as a guest, make sure they have their ID on them to use the gym. I like this place because it's pretty clean and updated compared to other places I've been to.

The staff is always helpful and I appreciate the work that they do! That said, this location is frequently not ideal for studying or staying long periods of time, as this is a very noisy library. Unlike the Bay Ridge branch which has two floors, one of which is the children's section, this location has only one floor, leaving the entire library functioning as a daycare, and sometime harbinger of noisy, angry eccentric adults who want to yell at the library staff. I'm glad the library can offer their service to the community for free, but for studying, this particular location is not ideal. My main gripe with this location is that, unlike the Bay Ridge branch, they do not have a functional drop-off for library materials outside the building, which means if the library is closed you *cannot drop off your library materials there*-- you've been warned!

The kids areas are right next to those tables though, so it can get very distracting. Bathrooms used to be a little musty, but it's cleaner now. There are some desks for people to use the library's computers so that's a great service for the community. Also serves as a cooling station (as do most libraries in the summer). I do wish this library was bigger, but the Bay Ridge one is larger but oddly felt just a little less personal. So I really do like this place.

I.C.Q. Search and Recovery is on YELP…read more WCCL/PathologyInc. owned by Laboratory Corporation of America failed to submit insurance claim w/in year of service. Collections contacted me 3 yrs after sevice. I.C.Q. Search and Recovery refused to speak w/ med. insurance. The letter addressed a charge for services in 2015 for the amount of $$$$. I found the bill I received. I had called the billing department with my medical insurance information in 2015 which PathologyInc/WCCL already had since they had submitted claims for other services in 2015. I never received another bill. after I called PathologhyInc/WCCL According to my then insurance, a claim was not submitted for the date in question. My insurance informed me if PathologyInc/WCCL did not submit within a year, they will not pay. My insurance requested that PathologyInc/WCCL resubmit with proof of timely filing; or have the PathologyInc/WCCL call my insurance. I called the collection agency I.C.Q., they refused to relay the information to PathologyInc/WCCL since the claim was not submitted within a year of service. I.C.Q. requested I submit the claim or pay the bill since it was my fault PathologyInc/WCCL did not submit the claim. I informed them I called PathologyInc/WCCL billing with my insurance information on date in 2015. I wrote the date and what information I gave them. I failed to write down the name of the operator. The I.C.Q. (Amber) said that I could be making up the information - without the name they cannot look at their 2015 logs to verify. Amber stated she will give me an extension of 60 days so GEHA could process the claim I SUBMIT. I did not bother to ask them to call GEHA at this point. The I.C.Q. (Amber) stated PathologyInc/WCCL sent 3 statements in all within 4 weeks of the service; the last one being my final notice which was received 25 days after service. I only received the last one and called the billing department with insurance info. Since I did not hear from them, I thought they were paid. My insurance was upset at how PathologyInc/WCCL and I.C.Q. are handling this issue. So I have and am filing complaints against Laboratory Corporation of America and I.C.Q. with the Better Business Bureau. bbb.org/consumer-complai... I am also filing with the Office of the Attorney General - fill out the Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Corporation Form against both Laboratory Corporation of America and I.C.Q. oag.ca.gov/sites/all/fil... Finally, I am also submitting the Los Angeles County DA's Office Bureau of Fraud and Corruption Prosecutions Consumer Protection Division Form against both Laboratory Corporation of America and I.C.Q. da.co.la.ca.us/sites/def... I know there are several other consumers out there that are being scammed by these shysters. PLEASE FILE COMPLAINTS USING ONE IF NOT ALL THESE LINKS!
