This time we also had them paint our block wall as well. They are very good at what they do and they are very competitively priced. We also paid extra to have them do what is called a roll back or back rolling. After they sprayed two coats of paint they then go back over it with a paint roller. This ensures the paint gets into all of the stucco nooks and crannies. This also helps to make sure that your houses paint last much longer. Years longer in fact. I highly recommend paying the extra cost to have this extra process done. *From the web: "Back-rolling increases adhesion by forcing the paint into the grain and pushing out the air that would otherwise be trapped in the texture. This method adds an additional 4-5 years to the life of our already durable paint job." Alex's Painting is a great company and I have been very happy with them painting the two homes I have owned.

Oct. 26, 2016, David just finished painting my outside block/stucco back walls. I first covered the stucco repairs with a material to help the paint stick to the new stucco. I was very concerned about over spray of the paint and all the other possible things that could go wrong with a paint job. ABSOLUTELY, NO need to have worried. David did and excellent job and there was no mess anywhere. When he left I couldn't tell that he had been here other than the fact that the walls look great. I feel very fortunate to have found Seneca Painting and David on yelp. Thanks to Yelp and all those that reviewed Seneca before me. Those reviews helped guide me in the right direction, to David. David was quick to answer my request for an estimate. Scheduled the time and date for the estimate, and he was here when he said he would be. The same holds true for doing the actual work. I believe his estimate for the job was well within reason and there were no added charges as the job progressed and ended. I manage a small (10 unit) apartment complex near Central Ave & Osborn. The place needed painting and I had no painting contractor in my list of preferred vendors. I was referred to David O'Hearn by another REALTOR. I called Dave for a bid; I also called five other painting contractors at random. Of the 5, Dave responded right away and the others called back over the next 4 days. Ultimately I received 3 bids. The bid from Dave was slightly less than the other two. It's not always about the bid amount though. The clincher was after meeting with him at the property, I was impressed to the point that I recommended to the owner that we move forward with Seneca Painting. The job was completed, along with some unanticipated repairs to the foundation walls, on time with no complaints from the tenants (Yay!!) and it looks great! I cannot speak highly enough about David and Seneca Painting! I hired him to paint my entryway, living room, dining room and kitchen and after seeing his work I quickly added on the kitchen cabinets and the master bedroom. He is reliable, always on time, trustworthy and competitively priced! He has gone above and beyond ordering and picking up paint samples for me, patching and retouching walls I have accidentally dinged with furniture after he already painted them, he is patient with my small dog who tends to be nosey. He is respectful of my space and I even left him alone in my house while I ran errands and never had to worry about him once! Since we were rather new to the area, I went to Yelp to find a painter at the younger generation's advice. I looked at those with 5 stars, then read the reviews. I contacted two through Yelp. Because David from Seneca Painting contacted me directly right away, we set up an appointment immediately to get a quote. I liked how he listened to what I had in mind but also offered his suggestions. Even though I had done all our own painting in the past (my younger days), I relied on his judgement and experience. He worked within our timeline and kept in contact with me filling me in on his progress and his suggestions. I am looking forward to having him do the outside when it cools down a bit. David O'Hearn did an outstanding job in completing an entire interior paint job for my home in Surprise at a competitive price and within his estimated budget and schedule. He is an experienced professional and has a great work ethic. Just when I thought I wouldn't need to call a painter again for awhile, I ended up having another rush exterior paint and patch job to meet a home inspection and appraisal deadline. The day that David came to look over the job of exterior painting, I knew he was the one. He does all the work by himself. If he has an assistant, don't worry if that person is fully qualified. He gave us a quote the same day. David is very efficient and professional. He checked with us at least once a day to tell us where he was on the job and made sure everything we wanted got done. I would not place my trust in AZ West Painting under any circumstances. The painting for my project…read morewas scheduled to commence first thing next week, but Chris decided to cancel our verbal agreement at the last moment, all due to a misunderstanding with the contractor, who has also been quite troublesome. After a phone call with the contractor, Chris voiced his concern regarding my payment(s) to the contractor for a city requirement before he could initiate the painting, essentially accusing me of failing to pay the contractor for the project. To begin with, you do not have the authority to dictate when I should pay for a service that you are not delivering. Furthermore, he was unaware that I had already completed two of the four payments for the project, and instead, he immediately took the contractor's side. Chris accused me without taking the time to verify the facts or engage in a mature dialogue about the situation, and instead insisted that I resolve this issue with the contractor. I tried to clarify that I had already made the necessary payments to the contractor and expressed my confusion at being accused of this, offering to provide proof of payments, to which Chris replied, "Okay, I'm out. Good luck." I find this behavior to be exceedingly rude and unprofessional. How ironic that they advertise Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed on their website. Business 101: Customer service should be provided before, during, and after the purchase of a service. I will certainly not be reaching out to AZ West Painting for any future projects.
