I would give this place zero stars if I could, but unfortunately that's not an option. …read more Do not send any of your family members here. If you know anybody that's even remotely looking into this place do not do it. My dad went in for rehab from a UTI to get his strength back. He is 68 years old he was there a month. They said they needed to keep him longer because of a sore on his heel. We knew the store was there. It wasn't that bad, but I knew it needed to be taken care of so I agreed to it while he was there. They did two other procedures on him did not go through his primary care. doctor did not go through his specialist for this problem. They did it with their own doctors. I was not even notified. I am a primary care caregiver at home. His next kid he has no other family members besides me against their wishes. I took him to another foot doctor his heel on his right foot was so blistered and oozing, and it looked horrible. It was 100 times worse than when he went in which they were supposed to be carried for it. His left foot. The heel was fine no problems with it when he went in today for his foot appointment for the specialist. It was worse than the first the other foot when he went in. He was neglected. They did not care for them properly. They're overnight. Crew doesn't do a damn thing. My dad set on a wet mattress stoke with urine and feces for six hours before they even got anybody in there to care for him and clean him up. This is the worst place for anybody I would not wish my worst enemy on this place do whatever you can to put your family member anywhere else but here.!

The type of care wasn't very professional. They cared more about themselves not the patients. Most…read moreof the time if you needed assistance they would take their sweet old time getting to you. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

After two disastrous stays at other deceptively rated PT facilities in Moorestown (Cambridge) and Voorhees (Autumn Lake), I can't praise the Medford Leas Physical Rehab facility enough. We experienced a clean, friendly, unpretentious environment, a very high quality of care, highly skilled English- speaking staff, a generous hotel grade menu, and a "go the extra mile" attention to individual patient needs. Medford Leas Physical Rehab not only gave our family member the encouragement one needs when they are down, but they restored our family's faith in humanity after experiencing two prior facilities that can only be described as "holding facilities for the unwell." Kudos and thank you Medford Leas. One final, unfortunate word, care like this is obviously more costly than those understaffed Medicaid warehouses that now represent the majority of residential PT/convalescing facilities. Your private insurance carrier may balk at the rates and your co-pay may be prohibitive if they consider Medford Leas "out of network."

I called to set up a tour for my parents, and upon hearing that my mother has a memory diagnosis, they immediately told me she would have to move into assisted living -- independent living was not an option, in their view. This despite that fact that my mother is still early in her diagnosis and functioning independently, and a higher level of care than she actually needs would definitely compromise her health rather than improve it. When I said I thought there must have been some miscommunication, I was told no, that's just how their "qualification process" works. That's actually the *absence* of a process. If they think they know what a resident needs without actually taking the individual into account, I hate to think how else they may discount residents' individuality there. All other CCRCs we toured (4 of them) were in agreement that my parents are both a fit for independent living. I feel like we dodged a bullet by not getting any further with Medford Leas. Especially if you have a loved one with a memory diagnosis, make sure you find a place that wants to ask you questions or meet your loved one *before* determining their level of need.

Today I find our friend was rushed to Virtua Hospital with low BP and a Viral Infection. I called and asked for a person in charge. A very rude Woman picked up and when I told her they should have Quarantine it and closed it Visitors. She started hedging and said they fixed it. How dog fox a speeding Virus. Then when I questioned her about my Uncle. She said she knew nothing about that. His Caretaker has who has Cancer has called several times and has never gotten a straight answer. In Fact Physical Therapist called him this week and said he has make a decision by March 18 to remove him or put him in the Nursing Home there. Why the PT and not a Doctor or Social Worker. After this I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
