Where can I possibly begin?! This organization was highly recommended to me by a senior health…read morecare agency. And I am so grateful they did. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.

We knew we weren't ready to talk about transitioning his care; however, I reached out to Wellpath Partners for information. Charles was so kind to explain their services and promised to check-in with us in 3 months. There was no pressure or need to commit right away to their services. Charles and Leila checked in with us along the way. Never pushing for more information. Just "when you're ready, we are here". Last month, I reached out to Leila as our family was experiencing stress and increased difficulties caring for my dad at home by ourselves. We talked about options. We discussed financial and cultural concerns. My dad is Filipino, doesn't speak English well, and very particular with his care. Leila was able to help us find a Filipino-owned board and care that was close to home and within our price range. She helped settle my fears and worries. In the stress of needing to transition my dad quickly, she made it seem less challenging, listened to my concerns, and reassured me that I was not on this journey alone. I don't think I would have found a great place on my own. My dad has transitioned well. He tells people its quiet and the people are nice. When we visit, there is no stress or guilt. He smiles and is happy talking to the people there. Thank you to Charles, Leila, and the whole Wellpath Partners team! My family appreciates the family care you give your customers. We are so happy to share our story with our own family and friends who may be looking for support for their aging parents.

My four siblings and I were an emotional wreck when this unexpected life change was thrust upon us. We didn't know anything about elder care or what services were available. We began calling everyone we could think of for advise and help. We were drowning in sorrow and confusion. There were so many decisions that had to be made immediately and we didn't have a clue what to do. Everything felt urgent and it was so important to my Mother's wellbeing that we didn't make a mistake. By an absolute stroke of luck, Karl Kim was mentioned to us by a friend as someone who might be able to help. He and his staff have been wonderful in guiding us through the past 8 months of care facilities, Medi-cal applications, banking advise and hospice care information. I appreciate that I get a reply to my emails and phone calls almost always the same day. One meeting with Karl and the dark mysterious cloud of elder care was lifted from our lives. Thank you Karl and staff for all you have done for my family these past 8 months. You have truly been a Godsend. I know all these five star ratings might seem a bit over the top and I am adding yet one more, but I sincerely believe he is deserving. He absolutely has all the elder care answers and goes above and beyond to share them with you. If you are struggling with elder care issues - reach out. You won't be sorry.
