Where can I possibly begin?! This organization was highly recommended to me by a senior health…read morecare agency. And I am so grateful they did. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.

She got to know mom, her expectations and personality. And then went over how Living Well could meet our needs. I was highly impressed and immediately could see the compassionate attitude that set the standard for Living Well and their caretakers. Because Donata learned who my mom was, she has been able to precisely align caretakers that work best with Mom. With Donata's tenure in the business she brings a wealth of experience to the table. And I greatly appreciate that whenever I have reached out to her, she gets back with me immediately. She is one of the hardest working women, I know. Living Well has put standards in place where I can always check and see how Mom's daily care is going with each caretaker that comes to the house. The caretakers are lovely ladies that truly are professional, compassionate and kind people that have Mom's best interest always as a priority. I highly recommend Living Well and thank them for giving me peace of mind with Mom's care.

I cannot express my gratitude enough, for the immense care and support Karlton has given to us…read more My mother passed last month at Karlton ,surrounded by her family, and Karlton care providers that have lovingly cared for her for nearly 10 years. I realized this May would have been ten years that my Mother entered Karlton, and it shows how well they have nurtured her through Alzheimers and this last journey of her life. I, as her daughter have been supported by the owners, and staff each and everyday. I cant tell you how many times they have held my hand through my mothers Alzheimers disease. They are truly angels. I would like to mention my Uncle was here with her for 7 years prior. I would like to comment on his care as well. Simply amazing. It was comforting for me to have them together. Karlton has a very special quality about it that I certainly had not found before placing her with them. They are extremely capable, and competent to manage Alzheimers/Dementia patients, and in the most loving way. The facility is calm, immaculate, and so well run. Elena has managed many aspects of my mothers care from her medical needs to mental health care needs. Sylvia has also been such a wonderful support when I have needed to make sure all my mothers supply needs were met, as well as providing the physical care needed care each day. Thank you for your guidance and love, I could not have done it without you!
