Sometimes you get what you pay for, but that isn't the case here. Sure, it's the most economical choice in town, but that isn't why we love it, that's just the cherry on top. The management here is amazing and so is the staff, which includes all the various team members, reception, activities, cleaning, nursing, and property management. My mom has been at various other facilities from time to time over the last decade and we found that there were inconsistencies in each, if the facilities were great, the staff weren't, or if the staff were great, the administration wasn't, etc. But here everything is wonderful, a complete balance and it feels like a dream. My mom loves it and feels like everyone really cares here, which they honestly do. In addition, the location can't be beat. It's right downtown but doesn't feel like it on a tree lined residential street. It's half a block from the library, block and a half from her banking, 2 blocks from grocery shopping, a couple blocks from downtown shopping, the farmers market, and summer events that she can take her scooter to. Her little apartment is just what she needed in size and the other residents are so friendly and inviting as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. To be honest, I have extraordinarily high standards and am pretty hard to please, most people and places fall short....this one doesn't.

There is a therapy pool that contains an operating underwater treadmill that can be raised or lowered, allowing a person to move a sore or injured limb without the usual amount of pain. It is usually around 94 degrees, a perfect temperature to work out in and not be too cold either. There are jets that provide massage therapy as well. The treadmill has different speeds also, allowing the therapists to accommodate to any specific need of a patient, which enhances their healing time. The fitness center features air compressors that can add or subtract weight to the machines, eliminating the strenuous task of getting up from the machine and moving a pin and weights manually. AquaWorx Exercise Specialists provide an initial assessment of what you would like to accomplish and how well you will be able to accomplish it. In addition, setting up workout plans and giving you the means to follow through with those plans. There are many volunteers, interns, and employees who walk around assisting each person individually. Providing reinforcement and re-evaluation. There are also groups and classes you can attend weekly, some of which include balance and yoga. And again, the physical therapists are great at what they do. They always give their client enough of their time to fully understand the problem and figure out a solution. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you are thinking about joining and getting a gym membership, but still want to look into it, schedule a tour! You can meet and talk with the employees as well as current residents. On top of that, the E-Newsletter is available, you can sign up and learn more about the great facility! * Again, this clinic is a non-profit organization, so many donations and volunteers are appreciated. You can go to their website for further information on how you can help!

Not a professional outfit. One troll like caregiver is planning a large party at the patients home…read moreso that all her relatives can come enjoy the fancy home where she works with a patient. I would call it overstepping of boundaries. Also, they keep patient captive in the home. Nobody including family is allowed to visit. Why you ask? Their caregivers are busy with school work, meetings, and skyping or social networking rather than engaging the patient and working to get the patient well. Why they even block relatives phones, so they can't text or call there family member. Terrible combo of ex prisoners working and dishonest people who could care less except getting the dollars out of your pocket. Steer clear - you will be happy you did! If i could give them a negative

Sue was accommodating and compassionate and immediately connected with our family member. During the first several months, we made some adjustments due to the changing needs of our family member. Sue and the care team staff were very flexible and always made sure we had the coverage needed. The owner of the company, Dannette, reached out to us on multiple occasions to make sure we were satisfied with the care received. We were exceptionally blessed when we were introduced to Tami. As our family member's needs changed, Tami became the primary care giver for our family member. Tami is very loving, compassionate, and dedicated caregiving professional. She makes sure our family member eats well-balanced meals each day, takes their daily medications, attends to personal hygiene, and attends medical appointments. Tami goes out of her way to keep our family member active and engaged in life by taking them on drives, visiting parks, museums, senior centers, rec centers, shopping, etc. She is an excellent communicator and keeps our family informed when she has any questions or concerns. Not all people are cut out for a caregiving role, it's a hard job, but it is evident that this is Tami's calling in life. Our family member looks forward to seeing Tami every day and she is like family to them and to us! We couldn't ask for better care!!
