When I first approached 65, I was overwhelmed by the government "legalese" language concerning Medicare. I figured that as a college graduate, this information should have been easy to navigate but the more I researched, the more confusing it became. So I next used SHIP and the representative was knowledgeable and helpful but when questions popped up later there was a delay in getting on the appointment schedule. I am turning 65 this year and the prospect of dealing with Medicare seemed like a huge ordeal in understanding the program and whether to opt for a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement. I happened to come upon Senior Savings Network when I needed information on a supplement plan with Medicare on Youtube.
