Absolutely love this place! We swung in here on a whim after seeing the open house signs on the road. We were looking for an apartment for a short term lease. Senita personnel were accommodating and showed us several apartments on a moments notice (literally). The Apartments were newer, and updated and very clean. We rented our apartment for a 2 month lease. We were able to do all the paperwork online, bonus for us as we live out of state. Our move in was simple and they had referrals for furniture places as well. The amenities are great with an immaculate pool area with a pavilion with grills that actually do work! The work out room has updated equipment and everything you need to clean equipment after your workout. There's a recreation building with television, games, coffee, cold brew, wi-if, pool table, shuffleboard table and several tables with seating and a comfortable tv area with a sectional couch and great furnishings. Can I tell you about Senita personnel? I love them! Bernadette is the Community manager and she's a gem! So helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. Bernadette and her team have gone out of their way to make our stay here fantastic! Such a refreshing change after some other places we have rented. Two Thursday's a month there's a different food truck; nice for the days you aren't wanting to cook. Most importantly, I stayed here alone 1/2 the time and as a woman, I felt safe. Oh yes, I love this place!

Trash area kept nice and clean!!

It's been about a week since the move, and I have to say I am so impressed with the staff and maintenance of the grounds/common areas! Below are a few things that I found worth mentioning: -Valet Trash: SO convenient! Who wants to carry their trash to the dumpster when you can get it picked up several days a week :) The trash areas are also kept nice and clean if you need to dispose/recycle. -Washer/Dryer: LOVE the top load washers versus what I had last (front load). -Unit/balcony: Great square footage for the price. Love the dark floors with the updated interiors and appliances! -Fitness Center: The fitness center is equipped with all your essentials to get a solid workout in. I also considered buying a Peloton bike for my home but realized the property provides two bikes with access to a variety of classes! -Dog Park: Large enough space for my dogs to run around and play. On a side note, I have picked up dog poop (not from my dogs) countless times at my old property. It is a relief that Senita is enforcing that all dog owner's pick up their dog poop with Poo Print (ID technology from swabs taken from dogs to identify any poop left behind)--genius!

The community is diverse, inclusive, and welcoming, hosting pool parties where everyone is welcomed, even if you don't bring anything. The Ladies in the office are always professional and responsive. Maintenance concerns are always promptly addressed, and they're very dog-friendly. My dog goes into the office every day to get her doggie treat, and the entire office staff is very nice to her, and she loves them. The two pics are my dog visiting the ladies

When first moving in I mentioned 6 errors in the apartments that needed to be fixed and also notated on checklist they provide at move in. Brenda stated she will have them fixed but we never received a follow up. But despite multiple follow-ups, I've been ignored completely. When I finally spoke to someone in the office, the staff member was dismissive and made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. 7 months later we reached out and had to go down to the office and reassure them of the errors in apartment had not been fixed. That includes missing closet door, light bulbs, water heater, loud washer and dryer, messy painted counter and etc. Furthermore I had to deal with Brenda & Megan hanging up phone calls, cutting me off while speaking, stating that I won't be living here that long, Racism. We went through chain of command and spoke to who is above them and he stated he will have a meeting in regard to this situation but nothing has changed. This lack of professionalism is really disappointing and reflects poorly on how management handles resident concerns. It's disappointing to feel unimportant in a place I call home. I hope the leasing office improves its communication and customer service, as it's clear this is something that needs attention." This type of treatment not only made me feel undervalued, but it also suggests a lack of care for residents' needs. It seems like the leasing office doesn't prioritize creating a positive community experience or offering basic customer service.

I hang with her multiple times a week so I feel like I can get a good sense of the place and how it's ran, especially since she tells me the issues and experiences she has. I've also gone into the office with her and can see how the office staff is first hand. The office staff is always put off with any requests or questions. My friend brings in her check and they act like it's an inconvenience to get up take the check and issue a receipt. Oh I'm sorry is it an inconvenience to pay your bills? Also, the rarely follow up with service calls. It takes days to get a little thing fixed. The rent keeps going up year over year but get nothing out of it. When I lived down the road when my rent went up they'd at least offer carpet cleaning and a new bedroom fan since I didn't have one before. This place is not worth over 900 a month for a one bedroom. My friends apt smells like weed because of the neighbors. She's complained and it never gets fixed. Also the parking is a hot mess. There's never any uncovered spots because residents park in those and leave the covered ones open. So as having friends over is a pain in the butt. They need to fix up the parking map. My friends had enough complaints where I would never move here or recommend this place. Rude staff and crappy areas.

LAUREN BREWER IS UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE!!!…read more !!!DO NOT RENT OR EVEN TRY TO RENT FROM SPECTRA!!! Do not rent from Spectra on 7th. We had recently come in to look at an apartment when we were notified both of the cheaper units were being pulled off of the market for renovations. Fair enough. We went back to look at a more expensive unit, willing to spend a little more for the experience of Spectra. We were notified by Lauren Brewer that the prices had dropped substantially, so much so she even had to check with management, who was just as surprised. We were excited at the potential of a luxury apartment at a better price so we applied immediately. From the moment we began applying for the apartment that had just been listed at a cheaper price, we had nothing but dismissive & rude interactions from both office workers, mainly Lauren Brewer. She sounded almost gleeful telling my husband we were denied a lease due to an invalid charge from a previous rental, which we quickly provided proof for. It seems like they are trying to take the apartment we applied for off the market, again, to renovate & list it at a higher price. A very sneaky & slimy move on their part. I understand business is business but having someone apply for an apartment immediately deny them on some untrue premises is incredibly unprofessional, riding on illegal & Mark Taylor is alsoan untrustworthy company for doing so. I will not stop until the valley of the sun & its potential renters know about this sketchy place of business. AVOID SPECTRA AT ALL COSTS!!!

This is not a great community to live especially if you have a family. Their maintenance is absolutely horrible. They never come on time. They wait weeks at a time when we first moved into our apartment they wouldn't even let us see it when we first stepped foot into our apartment. It reeked of cigarette smoke. The yellow is all over the walls. We lived there for about a year and unfortunately, we got kicked out of our apartment because of a accident in the apartment complex, even though I had nothing to do with this incident, they kicked me and my kids out of the apartment, trying to find a place to live on top of that. They told us we didn't have to own anything since I just paid rent and now they're trying to charge us over $4000 For kicking us out of our place of home for something we didn't even do. DO NOT MOVE HERE. My roommate and I lived at this complex…read morefor over two years, and unfortunately the issues started the day we moved in. We were charged a cleaning fee, yet the apartment was not move-in ready. It was dirty, dusty, and clearly had not been properly cleaned. We were told it was a scheduling issue and that someone would come clean it after we had already moved in. A cleaner eventually came days later, but that doesn't change the fact that we paid to move into a clean apartment and didn't receive one. The maintenance issues started almost immediately. Within the first few months, our A/C failed multiple times and ultimately had to be replaced. During the replacement, maintenance cut a large hole in the wall and never repaired it. Over the next two years, we submitted multiple work orders, reminded maintenance during other visits, and repeatedly requested that the wall be fixed. Every request was ignored. Now, after moving out, management is trying to charge us $150 for damage their own maintenance team caused and refused to repair despite repeated requests. They're also charging $155 for carpet cleaning due to "stains." We lived there for over two years, and normal wear is expected. More importantly, this fee was never disclosed in our lease as a separate move-out charge. These are only a few of the questionable charges included in our nearly $800 move-out bill. After reading other reviews, it appears many former residents have received similarly excessive charges. Things became even more concerning when my roommate transferred to a one-bedroom within the same complex. She signed her lease, paid all required fees, and her lease began on July 11. Because she was out of town, she planned to pick up her keys on July 14. When she arrived, the apartment was filthy and completely unfit to move into, forcing her to reschedule her movers. She was later told by Brianna, a leasing agent, that she had informed Melissa, the Assistant Property Manager, on July 11 that the apartment still needed to be cleaned because the cleaners had not done an acceptable job. Despite knowing the apartment wasn't move-in ready, management allowed the lease to begin and accepted her rent. The apartment wasn't cleaned until the afternoon of July 15, meaning she paid rent for several days on an apartment she couldn't occupy. She repeatedly requested reimbursement but received little response. Property Manager Lantha told her they would likely reimburse the cost of rescheduling movers but not the rent for the days the apartment was uninhabitable. She requested to speak with the Regional Manager and has still not received a response. Within two days of finally moving in, the A/C leaked heavily, the garbage disposal didn't work, and the washing machine flooded nearly half the apartment. On July 22, management offered either two days of rent reimbursement or a reduction in some of our move-out charges. My roommate immediately asked about those charges, and Brianna stated she hadn't noticed anything beyond dust during our walk-through. Then, on July 23, Lantha emailed nearly $800 in move-out charges, including damages that had never been mentioned before. The timing is difficult to ignore, as these charges appeared only after my roommate continued seeking compensation for management's failure to provide a move-in-ready apartment. This isn't about avoiding responsibility for legitimate damages. It's about being charged for damage caused by maintenance, paying rent on an apartment that wasn't habitable, and dealing with an office that consistently avoids communication and accountability. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property. If you choose to rent here, document everything, take thorough move-in and move-out photos and videos, save every maintenance request, and be prepared to dispute charges that should never have been assessed.

When I arrived, she did not look me in the eyes, and I felt very dismissed. I waited for about 10 minutes, and I felt that no one took the time to ask why I was there before assuming they already knew my concerns. I was trying to explain why I believed my notice had been given before the lease was fully signed, but I did not feel I was given a fair opportunity to explain my situation. During the conversation, I felt repeatedly interrupted. The property manager raised her hand, snapped her fingers at me, and told me she had a doctor's appointment and didn't know what I wanted her to do. As the conversation escalated, I was told to leave and the property manager threatened to call the police if I did not. I also observed what appeared to be a significant roach infestation at the property, which added to my concerns about the condition of the complex. I left feeling disrespected and that my concerns were dismissed instead of being addressed professionally. Based on my experience, I would not recommend renting here if respectful communication, professionalism, and property maintenance are important to you.

Me and my BF moved in, and it felt like we were living in a hell hole. This was a year ago we moved in but moved out a couple months before out lease was up in September. "John" the front desk guy-horrible service and doesn't understand how to do his job at all. He also seems like he thinks he's above everyone and racist. We had an issue with our air conditioning where it stopped working. Mind you it was 105-115 outside and we had no air conditioning. and the heater kept turning on. We had gone to go clean the air conditioning filter and there was Black, White, Green and blue mold in the air vents and there was so much hair stuck in there as well. The screws came out of the ceiling and were rusty, the whole thing almost took out my bf. We took pictures and showed john, and he didn't care at all-he told us to duct tape it back up and that they couldn't do anything about it. We showed him the mold, and he just looked away. I have an autoimmune disease (MS), So that is very deadly to me, and I ended up getting very sick from it. We told John again and nothing. The Maintenace tried to come up to our apartment without us knowing and tried to enter without our permission, It seemed like they might have, and our stuff was moved around like they were looking for something. I went back down telling john that we can't stay here cause of the mold and i gave him (handed him directly)-Photos of the mold and broken screws and how the huge vent was hanging down from the ceiling and gave him our notice and gave him a summary on my disability and why I can't stay here or I will end up in the hospital again. He took the papers and set them to the side and didn't care to look. We broke the lease and moved out and he continued to add more money onto our stuff and then threaten us that we would have to pay 2000+ more dollars to get out and shit. "John" doesn't care about the people he only cares about the "Property image" and his "Precious BMW" He's a coward and he is horrible. Last but not least, the homeless people...Like talk about being a gated community but the gate is always unlocked, and I had older men follow me to my apartment and watch me go in and then walk up the stairs and knock on my door...Not safe at all.
