Hidden Dragon and Out of Control sushi! Yummy!

This is the third time my husband and I came here and as always, the food is delicious! Fresh and yummy! Service is good as expected!

Doesn't this look like someone's leftover???

Should have know better to have sushi in Scottsboro, AL. Paid extra for filet mignon dinner, they were just regular sirloin steak... Ordered a $12 soft shell crab, I got like a leftover plate, soft shell crab has 8 legs... I got two! Definitely very disappointed

Recommended by employees in the branch I was auditing. I had to "add" to Yelp, so I assume fairly new? I grabbed a take out menu which advertised "Grand Opening". The Snow Crab and Avocado Salad on shredded carrot and the Salmon and Avocado Roll were freshly prepared and delicious. I was unable to determine if the salad was real Snow Crab or Imitation since it was minced. Regardless, at $5.95 it was plentiful and tasty.. and so pretty! I loved using the "Real" chop stix in lieu of those packaged disposable ones. I hope Senjyu House is well received by the Scottsboro Community as I will definitely revisit the next time in the area. 絶対においしいです

The soup and salad was perfect. Everything came out pretty fast. The hibachi beef and rice was pretty good. The white sauce tasted a little funny. And the sushi was perfect.

Wish I had taken a picture to show, but it was absolutely delicious!!! Our waiter was super friendly and spoke highly of the food, we tried a few items and it as so good! Just moved close to the area, so nice to find this little hidden gem. Plan to make it a regular place to visit.

This is one of the tickets.. The shrimp fried rice was also supposed to be kids but were charged for the adult!

Always great food and friendly staff. Have ordered sushi and chicken noodles, as well as some appetizers. Haven't been disappointed.

The food here is always excellent. The service can be slow at times. But I love the huge screen wall!

You'll honestly be challenged to find better sashimi. I was blown away to find this quality in quiet Northeast Alabama. Great prices too.

My friend Chris took the opportunity to use the restroom while we waited with our drinks.. We were seated outside against our wishes...because some "photographers " showed up and got out table Our server Emily was super amazing to start. Unfortunately my friend Bill wanted crab cakes and they were gone...Emily ate the last ones! Our gumbo order shows before our appetizers even with the 20 minutes order difference....but gumbo is amazing Appetizers on point ...unfortunately the mushrooms didn't have a a ranch sauce Entrees came out cold...some over cooked but fish tacos were awesome ...the rice is amazing unfortunately the wind made it difficult to keep things warm... But the bartender has a heavy hand...so giddy up Overall we had a great dinner and Chris all on the butter with his crab

The waitress was attentive to our needs. Restaurant has a great view sitting on the river, and then you order your meal, and everything changes into a train wreck. The chef was probably named salty. Prices were expensive and the food was awful. The first appetizer was horrible have no way of describing it. Maybe Rancid word be a good word. The second one bought out was so salty that I thought there was no salt left in the kitchen, served with hard salty chips. I was wrong! Crab cakes came in all their splendor. Salty and dry very little taste at all. Fell into a crumbly mess once my fork entered the picture, served with a rice pilaf dry and hard. A vegetable medley lay at the side of the hockey puck sized crab cakes. To end the night I ordered a bread pudding to go and it turned out to be a pound cake with a sauce and whipped cream. Well if you like salt and a meal to remember this is the place for you. I'll spend my next dinner out else where. To improve they need a chef that knows how to use herbs instead of the salt shaker, how to make a salad, and how to make a presentation of the food prepared. Even if it's bad it should at least look edible.

We pulled into Papa Dubi's around 1:45, not realizing the kitchen closes at 2:00. We apologized and said we'd come back another time because we didn't want to be "those people", but the staff insisted it was no problem at all. That alone made a great first impression. We ordered quickly and went with the Cajun Sampler--Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya, and Crawfish Sauce over Rice. We also added hushpuppies and boudin. Every single thing was spot‑on delicious. Each sampler dish had the perfect balance of rice to main ingredients, and the flavors were rich, authentic, and comforting. The boudin was the real deal, and the hushpuppies were just as good. Brandon was our server, and he couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating, especially considering how close it was to closing time. For being this far from Louisiana, Papa Dubi's is absolutely doing it right. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was super friendly, shout out to our server Brandon. Friendly and willing to engage in my favorite activity (small talk!) lol. To the food. I have an extensive list of food allergies and intolerances. So I will always review a place where I can find a good meal and not get sick or worse. I had the burger po'boy and it was great! Perfect ratio of burger to bread. The fries were pretty standard Sysco fair but I like their seasoned fries so all good. Hubs had the catfish lunch meal and he enjoyed it. Ordered the boy the crab cake meal and he loved it. Also got the 4 sides option as part of our to-go order - gumbo, red beans & rice, jambalaya, and etouffee. I hate soupy rice & beans, so I was happy to see that these were done right. They also tasted great. I wasn't able to try the other items (pesky seafood allergy) but they also looked good and smelled delicious. Definitely see us making a day trip in the future to eat here again.

Chips and salsa were brought to the table without having to ask, which is always a welcome touch. Service was attentive considering there was only one server handling the floor. Props to them for keeping things running smoothly. The food was middle-of-the-road -- not the best Mexican I've had, but certainly not the worst either. If you're looking for a solid, no-surprises meal, it'll do the job. The atmosphere is actually one of the highlights. It's a nice bar setting, well-lit, and wasn't overly loud during our early visit -- easy to hold a conversation, which isn't always a given at a bar. Now, the restrooms could use some attention. They're a bit dated and in need of updating. I did get a chuckle out of the handwashing requirement sign posted prominently on the wall -- right next to the one soap dispenser that happened to be completely empty. It makes you wonder how closely that policy is actually enforced. Overall, La Cabaña by JUAN is a fine spot for drinks and a casual bite. Just maybe bring your own hand sanitizer.
