Late delivery + communication issues, but the delivery crew was great…read more I used Rental Avenue for furniture rentals for an event and spent around $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

They came before the party to set up and let me know when they were on the way to pick up. They even provided the white tarp underneath the set up. I rented a water slide for my daughter's birthday party, and unfortunately, the delivery and pickup…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When the delivery driver arrived, he asked if we could provide an extension cord, which I found surprising since I would expect the necessary equipment to be provided by the rental company. Throughout the delivery, he also appeared visibly frustrated and seemed as though he did not want to be there. For the pickup, we were told he would arrive around 8:00 PM, but he did not arrive until close to 9:00 PM. At that point, the water had not yet been completely drained. Rather than allowing us the time to finish draining it safely, he communicated that he had other things to do and needed to leave. While we were in the process of draining the pool, he took it upon himself to remove the bottom of the pool so that the remaining water could drain out more quickly. The problem was that two of my guests were standing directly in front of the area, one of whom was a senior citizen. Suddenly, a large amount of water rushed out like a river, creating a significant slipping hazard. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this could have easily resulted in someone falling. Several guests' shoes were also soaked in the process. Overall, I found the entire experience to be completely unprofessional and lacking consideration for the safety of our guests. Given the amount we paid for the rental, I expected a much higher level of customer service, professionalism, and care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how deliveries and pickups are handled in the future.
